Travelled all over the world and never found an airline as bad as this. Makes Ryanair and Easyjet feel luxurious. Avoid if at all possible it will not be worth the money you think you're saving.

Der Kommentar des Flugbegleiters in sehr schlechtem englisch war: Für diesen Sitz sind sie zu fett. (wörtlich ) Das muss ich mir als zahlender Passagier nicht geben. Aber für den normalen Sitz war ich bei meiner Körpergröße von 198 cm richtig?oder hat er die Sitze für einen Passagier seiner Wahl gebraucht?
Die 140 Euro versuche ich bis jetzt vergeblich zurück zu bekommen. Mich beleidigen lassen, dafür bezahlen und im engen Sitz fliegen das geht ja gar nicht!!

Booking over their official website is totally terrible, basic features are missing, like go one step back and change something. This website had to be made 20 years ago without any update.

Apart from "online bureaucracy" no problems in airport.

My recent experience flying with Smartwings from Prague to Croatia was extremely disappointing.

Despite making every effort to follow the airline’s policies, the information provided by Smartwings staff was inconsistent and misleading. Prior to passing through security, we specifically checked whether we were permitted to carry a handbag in addition to our cabin bag, and we were assured this would be allowed. However, upon arrival at the gate, we were informed otherwise and compelled to pay €144 to check our luggage. This charge was excessive and in stark contrast with what we had been told earlier.

The situation was exacerbated by the conduct of ground staff at the gate, who were unprofessional and dismissive. Rather than offering assistance or clarification, they engaged with passengers in a manner that was unnecessarily condescending and unhelpful.

Our only regret is that Smartwings was the sole available option for travel from Prague to Croatia at the time, leaving us with no alternative carrier.

In conclusion, this airline makes Ryanair appear like a first-class carrier by comparison. In summary, the combination of conflicting advice, unreasonable charges, and poor customer service reflects poorly on Smartwings. I would urge the airline to review its communication practices and ensure that staff are trained to provide passengers with accurate information and respectful treatment.

Wir haben die Bewertung einen Tag vor Abflug gelesen und wollten schon umbuchen. Zum Glück haben wir es nicht… die Crew war sehr nett, der Flug super, das Flugzeug voll in Ordnung. Für den Flug nach Mallorca brauche ich kein Entertainment… habe mich von Beginn an sicher gefühlt.
Jederzeit wieder!

Defekte Teile am Sitz, unfreundlichen Personal, schlechtes Englisch, mit dem Getränkewagen in meinen Ellbogen gefahren, keine Entschuldigung, keine Kulanz.
Hoffentlich auf dem Rückflug nicht wieder Smartwings

Man bucht TEUER Eurowings, weil da Deutsch gesprochen wird und bekommt BILLIGE und VERALTETE Smartwings Maschinen......Crew spricht...teilweise sehr sehr schlecht Englisch.....wenn man selber kaum bis gar kein Englisch kann ist das alles nicht hilfreich und trägt nicht zum Wohlbefinden bei. Kann man auch Ryanair buchen......ist billiger und man weiß was man bekommt.....absolutes MINUS für Eurowings!!!!!!!

Compagnie a fuir urgent retard aller comme retour de plus personnel désagréable a notre arrivée dans l'avion pas de place pour les bagages cabines il nous mettent les bagages entre les jambes incroyable !!!!du jamais vu.

Son unos ladrones, nos cobraron en un vuelo Praga-València por segunda vez el equipaje de mano, obligándonos a facturarlo, cuando ya estaba incluido en el billete que habíamos comprado con EDreams, les enseñamos los billetes desde la aplicación de EDreams y les dio igual, nos sacaron de la fila de embarque de muy malas maneras, solo hablaban en inglés, el personal muy altivo nos dijo que o pagábamos o no subíamos al avión, después de pagar nos dieron un ticket (recibo) y pedimos que nos hicieran una factura, a lo que se negaron diciendo que con eso era suficiente.
Al llegar a Valencia reclamamos con EDreams y presentamos ese ticket (recibo), diciéndonos que no era válido y que sin la factura no nos hacían la devolución.
Hemos vuelto a contactar con smartwings y sus operadores no hablan Español, solo inglés, así que tuvimos que hacer la reclamación vía mail y con traductor.
Su respuesta que ese ticket es suficiente y que no nos van hacer factura. Así que dinero perdido porque sin factura no hay devolución.
Nunca más volaré con esta compañía.

Malheureusement nous avons vécu la même expérience : 40 mn de retard dû à un contrôle de bagages à l’aéroport de Prague et effectivement nous avons dû payer 60€ pour un petit sac à dos qui ne correspondait pas au « standard » de la compagnie. Nous avons voyagé sur plusieurs compagnies , et c’est la seule qui pèse les bagages, en les limitant à 8 kg !!! Il n’est pas difficile dans ces conditions de dépasser le poids. Première et dernière expérience sur cette compagnie, et personnel à l’embarquement bien rôdé pour cet exercice !! À FUIR

Es una aerolínea lamentable. Ellos mismos retrasan los vuelos pesando todas las maletas de la gente que está haciendo cola y mirando los bultos que llevan. Induce a confusión, sobre todo en la gente mayor que miraba y no entendía lo que estaba pasando. Lo vi primero en un vuelo a París donde un chico de gafas le cobró a más de 20 personas y luego en mi vuelo a Valencia donde cobró a otros tantos y a otros les llevó la maleta a bodega. Además el espacio entre asientos es el más reducido que he visto en mi vida. Menos mal que la azafata era simpática. Nada recomendable.

Voleur et tjs en retard ! A fuir absolument ! 2h20 de retard au départ d paris pr Prague pr les bagages rien à signaler à l'aller CHG PARIS - PRAGUE mais Très désagréable surprise de devoir payer pour notre voyage de retour 60€ pour chaque valise. Même poids qu'à l'aller. Contrôle par un homme très très désagréable parlant anglais Très vite et ns reprochant de ne pas parler anglais couramment, nos billets mentionnaient les deux bagages cabine comme à l'aller mais n'as rien voulu savoir, nous as dit que l'organisation qui nous a envoyé les billets s'était trompé et qu'il fallait qu'on paye et voit avec eux après ! Honteux ! Ils ont fait le coup à une dizaine de personnes qui prenaient le même vol retour que nous 600€ dans leur poche pendant les 30 minutes de retard ! Bon bizness pr eux ! Cie à éviter, à fuir vraiment ! Surtout que quand on lit les autres avis tt le monde raconte la même chose... La pire compagnie qui soit !

Cabin crew were not as efficient as they should be during boarding with helping the passengers to their seats.
The public announcements are inaudible on the plane. The captain and cabin senior do not speak loud and clear and it sounds scratchy. Please improve in this area.

A ground staff personnel in Prague airport was rude. The rudest in the world. I don't know how she works in a job dealing with the public. She should work as a prison warden. She treated most passengers like criminals, shouted at us, all for a mere 2 kgs which was later resolved by wearing some of the clothes from a bag that was overweight.

Be careful in Prague because the ground staff snatch passports and luggage from your hands in order for passengers to pay more if you are slightly overweight in baggage allowance. They don't even wait for your response or decision if you want to pay more, throw stuff away or wear your clothes from your bag. When we told that person to be kinder to people and to realise that she can take a more respectful approach in her communication skills, she didn't like it. She got very defensive. It became a big drama for nothing.

Bottom line - if you are looking for respect, clear communication and a smile during your flight, you are not going to get any of that from SmartWings!

We were flying from Hurghada to Prague and Smartwings decided they needed to pick up their crew from Rhodes. So we spent 1.5 hours there and arrived in Prague late. Of course we didn't get any food except water during the 6 hour flight.

Trato pésimo e incorrecto, a la hora del embarque, separaron a la clase económica, para cobrar 60€ por maleta o bolsa de mano, a los que llevaban una sola la pesaron y esto provoco retraso de la salida del avión.
Muy prepotentes y mal educados, sobre todo un joven con camisa blanca, no recomiendo esta compañía.
Vuelo QS1054 Praga-Valencia.

Maschine hatte technische Probleme ist ist auf halben Weg umgekehrt. Zurück am Flughafen war nichts vorbereitet . Erst sollte ein Flug am Abend von Köln/Bonn gehen, dann wurde auch dieser storniert und von Düsseldorf am nächsten Tag durchgeführt.
Nie wieder Smartwings/Eurowings!

Grotten schlecht 🙅‍♂️

My parents took the flight qs2442 on the 16th of April. When they got their luggage they discovered the handle had been ripped off leaving two holes, rendering the suitcase useless for traveling. They sent all the data and documents required by the company to get a new suitcase and the company said they'd get in contact soon to do it. To this day, 28th of July, there's no answer from the company whatsoever in clear violation of my parents' rights as passengers.

Die Maschine hatte zu Beginn vor dem Abflug technische Pobleme mit der Elektronik. Die Reparatur dauerte - alle Fluggäste schon in der Maschine! - eine Stunde und wir flogen mit einem mulmigen Gefühl ab. - Die von uns gebuchten und zusätzlich bezahlten Sitzplätze mit mehr Beinfreiheit lagen in dieser Maschine nicht - wie gebucht - an den Notausgängen, sondern waren sehr enge Sitzplätze ohne Beinfreiheit. Der Flug wurde von Smartwings durchgeführt, weshalb diese Plätze anders angeordnet waren. Die Armlehne war defekt und ließ sich nicht zum Aussteigen nach oben bewegen. Wenn ich Eurowings buche, will ich nicht Smartwings - eine tschech. Billigairline - bekommen. - Wir sind Vielflieger und werden Eurowings ab sofort nicht mehr buchen!
