Terrible customor service and defective products

My leaf blower/vacuum broke after just a few uses and was still well within warranty period. It took several weeks of going back and forth with customer service to find out they could not replace it because they had no other leaf blower/vacuums available. Said they could only give me store credit. I told them I couldn't use store credit because they had no leaf blower/vacuums available, and I didn't need anything else they sell. So after a lot of back and forth, they agreed to send me a visa gift card in the amount I paid for the item, once they received my broken unit back. I mailed my broken unit back to them, and now over two months later, I have still not received my gift card, even after contacting them several times. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company. Will absolutely never purchase anything from Shop Joe again. This is all over $100. You would think they value their customers enough to not make them jump through hoops and wait months for a simple refund of a defective item. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but now I am so fed up. I feel the negative review is well-deserved in this situation.

Thank you for being so respectful to my issues. Joanna was helpful, she walked me through the trouble shotting processes and eventually decided a replacement was the best solutions to resolve my issues.

Can't get replacement grass blades

The product works great, however you cannot get replacement grass blades. So once the 10 that the product ships with are gone, the trimmer is useless. Very disappointing, because I have several Sun Joe products that work great.

You literally never answered my…

You literally never answered my question and it’s been over a week. My safety key broke in the outlet of my mower, I asked if there was a way to bypass it. Your AI chatbot didn’t understand. I was directed send the question, with pictures of the broken product, to a real person and NEVER got any response. I bought a new mower from a different company

Parts availability

Was looking for replacement part for dethatcher I bought 4 years ago only to told that part is discontinued and to search 3rd parties for this replacement part and then just a 15% discount when explained I had searched and no one sells these either which was why I was reaching out to sun Joe in the first place. Frustrating muting a product from a company that discontinues supplying parts for it either in 4 years

The customer service person I got to…

The customer service person I got to speak with was great.However Iam not totally satisfied with my purchase. The plastic part that replcaces the traditional line is not flexible so you can’t get close enough to anything to trim. I guess it’s good for under brush or under tress, but not for actually getting close to anything like on a walkway that has an edging. Product is like wait and easy to use just would like it to edge better!

I am still trying to get the correct warranty part after emails and texts honestly call. I was on hold iver 30 minutes waiting for customer service representative. I sent all requested information and follow up email but no response. Very frustrated due to non-responsiveness of customer service.

You have a product but do not have the replacement blades for it. Trimmer/Edger is only one year old.

The product is great but the customer…

The product is great but the customer service is horrible. The box our dethatcher came in was missing a piece. The number for customer service directed me to an online portal. I completed the service request and got confirmation it went through. There was nothing else from them for 3 weeks so I tried the customer service number again. I went round and round in circles between a chat that repeatedly disconnected and hours of being on hold with an actual customer service rep. She was great but “the warranty” somehow didn’t cover pieces missing from the original packaging so they wanted to sell me the piece for 5x what I ended up getting it for on Amazon.

Again, the product is awesome but the customer service is horrible!
