I am really pleased with the quality of my new shed. The guys were very quick and efficient at erecting it, no corners were cut, everything is solid and it looks really good.

Good help and advice when picking the shed. Yesterday two guys took down the old one, removed the rubbish and put up a new one. Fast, efficient and friendly service.

From dealings with Ray at High Legh garden centre through to delivery and installment of the summerhouse by Jiri and Chris, it's been great customer service and quality. Really chuffed with the end result and you could see Jiri and Chris had worked together for some time. We did a lot of research and for price in relation to quality Solid Sheds came out top and they haven't disappointed.

I'm writing this today, not because I have to, but because I want to! I've never felt the urge to pen a letter of appreciation, but here I am, quill in hand (well, keyboard at fingertips), ready to sing your praises from the rooftops—or should I say, from the top of my splendid new shed!
Mel (High Legh Garden Centre) deserves special mention; he is far more than a salesman, but a true shed whisperer with the charm of a seasoned storyteller, the Gandalf of garden structures, he is a true ambassador for Solid Sheds.
His visit to our property with wisdom and a tape measure to ensure suitability for a 10 x 6 pent shed was above and beyond our expectations, making us feel completely at ease with our decision.
Then there's your installation team—arriving on a Friday afternoon, no less!
They were the height of professionalism, even when faced with unexpected challenges their courteous demeanor and efficient problem-solving demonstrates a high level of customer care. It's impressive how they managed the situation by advising on the necessary additional work in simple terms (just what I needed) before unloading and artfully arranging the unassembled shed pieces with the precision of Tetris champions until their return visit.
After receiving your telephone call on the following Monday morning with a revised date, we set too in adjusting the area as advised, then as the sun peeked above the horizon on round two your team were here, tools in hand, and coffee provided they were ready to go.
In what felt like the blink of an eye, the pieces were aligned, and the shed now stands proud in our garden.
It's not just a shed; it's a fortress of solitude, a haven of storage and a palace of power tools.
Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Mel and the team, and rest assured, I'll be recommending Solid Sheds to anyone who'll listen—and even to those who won't!

We had a summer house which was installed yesterday. Steve and Alan we fab, fast efficient and worked in the pouring down rain which was relentless yesterday. Lovely blokes and very hard working.
The shed seems solid and well made and hopefully will dry out well and be the perfect addition to our garden

From first to last contact everyone was helpful and professional. The shed is brilliant and the two chaps who put it up never stopped until it was done.
They were polite and cleared up any mess, which is always a good indicator.
Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Solid Sheds, based in Skelmersdale, after visiting their Newton-le-Willows site to inquire about a workshop I was interested in. Despite being drawn in by their extensive collection, the customer service was poor from the outset. I spoke to a staff member named Gerry, who seemed uninterested in helping me. He mentioned that another customer might be interested in the shed I wanted but made no effort to follow up with that person to confirm their commitment. As it turns out, they were actually interested in a larger shed, meaning I could have secured the one I wanted, had Gerry bothered to check.

Additionally, Gerry misinformed me about the shed’s customizability. He claimed that, for a £40 configuration charge, I could place the door wherever I wanted. However, after speaking to Gary at another store, I found out this wasn’t true.

Frustrated, I reached out to other Solid Sheds locations and eventually connected with Teresa at the Bury store, who informed me a 12x8 workshop was available. However, when I drove to the store to see the shed in person, I couldn’t find it, and Gary dismissed my claim, stating Teresa didn’t work at that location. He was quick to push me toward a new, more expensive shed, showing no regard for my original inquiry.

While some offers were mentioned during my visit, including £100 off and a free tin of paint, my experience soured after further questions about the shed’s rubber roof warranty. Despite being assured the 20-year warranty covered repairs, I later found out from the manufacturer that only the materials were covered, not the labor costs, leaving me with an essentially useless guarantee. When I raised this with Teresa, she was dismissive and showed little interest in resolving the issue.

The most shocking part of my experience came when I inquired about the possibility of honoring the £100 discount on the £4,000 shed I had initially signed up for. Teresa bluntly informed me that their company “makes over a million pounds a year” and would not honour the discount given be “fine losing a sale over £100”. This level of indifference toward customers is outrageous, especially after being misled multiple times by various staff members.

At no point during this process did I proceed with the sale. If the staff—who are on commission—treat customers with such disrespect, misleading them and lying to them before the purchase, I can only imagine how bad the service would be after you’ve handed over your money and completed the sale. I would advise extreme caution if considering buying from this company.

We bought a shed through the newbank gardern centre and had a home visit survey to measure were we wanted the shed placed,
In the shed being installed, we was told that the level on the area was not straight and the shed could not go
were I wanted it, I spoke to the management as I was not happy that his surveyor had not forseen that, I was met with the most rude and ignorant man that shift the blame and never even apologise for his employees cock up, but then again he had already got is 18 hundred quid....
And then I had to sign a declamer for were it was put so no comeback...
Disgusting behaviour. Would not advise them at all... went to maces and got an apologie for having to wait for a burger...

Jiri and Chris delivered and installed summer house they were very friendly and efficient. Everything was 5 star service from our initial enquiry to the final delivery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend solid sheds to anyone. We have a very happy teenage son with his new gaming/man cave!

Having spent the whole summer doing our back garden up we finally managed to get some flat land big enough to fit a decent workshop ( 10x8 ). John Baker at Astbury Garden Centre from start to finish guided us & even visited our house, he helped us to fit the shed in by giving us honest advice ( cutting a 5foot wide hedge back & building a tiny retaining wall to sit the shed further back so it didn't interfere with our greenhouse )

It's now fitted by three very professional men ( smashed it out in 2 hours ) & we're sitting here looking at views over Jodrell bank & Mow Cop ( shame we can't upload a photo ) No longer thinking it will be a workshop ... more of a garden pub lol.

Jiri and Chris installed my shed / summerhouse today and they were brilliant. Very organised, very polite and extremely tidy, would definitely recommend the company , from initial enquiry to finished install a very good company and would definitely use again if needed.good job all round

The whole buying and fitting experience was great. Good advice all along and the apex shed fits in the garden perfect. The sales assistant came to my house the same day to advise what was needed, I had to wait a few weeks for it to be installed but it was worth the wait as it was installed in just a few hours.
It seems to be really good quality, good value, I am really pleased with it.

After eagerly awaiting the planned delivery of a utility shed, and a summerhouse, we were not disappointed to welcome 2 experienced men who arrived on time, were very efficient, had built the shed built n 30 min and were onto the Summerhouse like grease lightening. I took a few photos of them assembling the shed and Summerhouse, they made it look so easy, they obviously had years of experience, and knew exactly what they were doing. They were quiet, very polite and respectful and made sure we were happy with the shed and summerhouse before leaving. They fixed the rubber roofing with ease, and we were amazed at the results, and we were extremely pleased with the end product, which is a rarity in this day and age unfortunately. We would recommend Solid Sheds Co. to all our family and friends without hesitation.

Julie at Solid Sheds Leyland was fantastic throughout from the initial consultation up to completion. Everything went like clockwork and we are super happy with our lovely new garden room. All in all a great product, sensibly priced and excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend Solid Sheds!

Jiri and Nick arrived on time and made a first class installation of our Solid Shed Summerhouse. No mess and no fuss we were impressed with how well the installation went. Solidly built and well worth the money. Both men were polite and professional. I would highly reccommend this team and the company. Thank you to all for a great job.

From visiting the sheds at Dobbies and speaking with Ken who went through my options I chose a garden snug a delivery time and date was confirmed.The young men who came to instal it were on time and very polite, friendly and efficient the job was done in within two hrs and everything was left tidy so a big thankyou to them and the company love my snug .

Obtained 2 quotations from different companies, both the same. I already had a smaller shed installed 4 years ago so I know the quality of the produce. Also Solid Sheds offered a removal service for the old shed!
Dates for removal and delivery were agreed and adhered to without any problems. 40 minutes to remove and 2 hours to install. Site cleaned on both occasions.
Personal the same on both occasion. Polite and professional at all times.
No Hassel and a job well done.
