Filled in the questionnaire on their website came out next day, engineer tested appliance but couldn’t find exactly what was wrong , said perhaps be a faulty board, he tried his boss for more assistance but to no avail. Nearly £100 out of pocket , rang their office same lady that was quick to take my money didn’t want to know and that my appliance is beyond repair. Avoid!

Rapid response to sort out my washing machine which had lost power. I was lucky that an engineer was in the area and was able to get to me quickly. Very pleased and a massive relief to get the problem resolved within an hour of my initial call.

I booked online after my washing machine gave an almighty bang and stopped working. I was telephoned the following morning by a professionally sounding young lady who offered by an appointment the next day, but that was not suitable for me.
Ben turned up at 8:15 the day after which was better for me. He was polite and pleasant, but unable to fix my machine, as the drum had come loose. He explained it would have cost almost as much to replace the drum as the cost of a new machine. Spin Doctor also supply and install new washing machines, and Ben said do shop around, and I was under no obligation or pressure to purchase from them.
I was impressed by the ease of booking by the young lady I spoke to, and the time keeping of Ben.
The 4 stars is because I had to pay up front by card on the phone when booking the appointment. I would have paid while Ben was here by phone even though there was nothing he could do.

I have used them before and was very pleased with the outcome, but this time they didn't seem to want to know, they came and fixed my appliance, when I went to use it it did not work tried several times but still did not work....phoned them and they said it was probably something else and it would mean a new appliance, which I was not convinced. Asked a local man to do the job and he said it was a faulty replacement, I am not saying that's what they put in but, I remain neutral on that, he fixed it at half the price and no suggestion that I needed a new appliance. Disappointed by Spin Doctor as my first encounter with them was very positive.

Rude!!

Had them come out to look at my machine as the drum was making a noise.
My machine was working fine other than the noisy drum. Did a load of washing this morning.

They came out pretty quick. Almost as quick as they took my money!!

A rude engineer turned up. Barely said a word. Showed him the machine.
Heard him taking some picture and an earth check with a machine.
He called me over to ask where the power was, showed him to then see that the display doesn’t work. So now since this rude engineer turned up the machine doesn’t work full stop.

Told me we need a new machine and he was gone.

Just rude. Not very good customer facing skills. Blunt.

And my machines now worse than it was when he got here !

Won’t use again. Avoid.

I made a repair appointment. I stated the make and model of my washing machine (Hotpoint). Paid £106 up front. I described the fault on the phone. When the engineer came same day, he told me that the PCB needed to be replaced , but because it was a Hotpoint washing machine he did not have the software key to be able to program a new PCB. So, why was I not told when I made the appointment "Mr Khan, because your machine is a Hotpoint, if it turns out that the fault is with the PCB, we will not be able to conduct the repair", in which case if I were told this , I would have not engaged Spin Doctor and would not have ended up paying £106 for nothing. A Company should always give caveats to its customers. When I spoke to the owner, he had a serious problem in listening to his customers reasonable concerns and he kept banging on and on about all his good reviews, but would not acknowledge that he should have pointed out to me that he may not be able to fix my washing machine 'if it was the PCB'. Extremely defensive individual who just wanted to keep talking and did not have the ability to listen. Regardless, I have opened a dispute with my bank and legally the charge will be reversed under the Consumer Rights Act

Telephoned with what I thought was an emergency when our dishwasher went haywire!!!! Made a same day booking on line with no problem at all. The office rang for payment which was fine. Luckily for me I managed to sort out the dishwasher so I telephoned to cancel and was pleasantly surprised to receive a full refund when I only gave 25 minutes notice to cancel. Of course considering this I would definitely recommend and I will nor hesitate to use should we need to.

I would like to thank spin doctor for such a quick and efficient service. Response to my call within 3 hours and fantastic Robert gave us the best advice for our washing machine. Highly recommend this company.

I've requested a quote via email twice and no reply from Spin doctor. First request was sent on the 21 April 2022.......still waiting.

I don’t usually write reviews but wanted to recommend Spin Doctors following a really positive experience. It was easy to book with slots available from the next day; reasonable call our charge; easy to use portal; tracking sent via text so I knew when the engineer was arriving; polite service from the engineer and dishwasher mended with a new part at a reasonable charge. £168 all in for call out, 2 hours work and a new heater installed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable dishwasher repair in London.

Payed £100 for a washing machine repair job 22/04, today the washing machine isn’t working. Partner messaged the guy who came round and he has then sent instructions on what it might be and how to fix it. How nice it must be to operate in a world where you’re payed for a job to then message the client on how to do it themselves.

Office closed at the weekend meanwhile school uniforms and work clothes need washing.

I don't understand why there are bad reviews on here. My Hoover washer/dryer wouldn't drain. Spin Doctor sent their engineer Phil round the next morning. He was courteous diagnosed the fault and replaced a faulty drain pump, then fully tested the machine out, all for a reasonable price (£20 cheaper than Hoover's quote).
Excellent service, very pleased.

Very polite and clean. Turned up within a couple of minutes of expected time. Excellent work, corrected a couple of things with water supply to avoid problems in the future. Very satisfied

I emailed them on Sunday and got a call first thing today - Monday. Rob the engineer was at our house by 10.30am. Fixed the problem on washing machine and all completed. Extremely impressed with the service and reasonable as well. Definitely will be using again. Well done and thank you.

Very easy to book online and the engineer (Phil) was great - sorted out the main problem with the washer dryer plus a leak I hadn't known about. Would definitely use Spin Doctor again!

Just had Phil out on a job to mend a dishwasher and he was great. It turned out to be loose wires on the door catch.
The whole process was stress free. The lady in the office was very pleasant and booked an appointment for a morning visit, as specified, first thing after the weekend. She informed me of prices and said the call out charge included mending it if I didn't need parts. Luckily I didn't need any parts and it was repaired swiftly with Phil giving me a telephone call and detailing the repair and informing me there was a 3 month guarantee for the work.
He then sent a detailed receipt which included a safety test and my invoice.
I am very pleased with the service provided and would use them again.

I was so impressed by Spindoctor. i'd seen the van in the area and remembered the witty name. When my older washing machine broke i rang up. A real person answered the phone! She then organised an engineer to turn up that day. He (Gary) sent a text 15mins before arriving and then absolutely knew what he was doing & gave me some advice about how to keep it in good condition.
