A note on the COVID-19 pandemic
We hope you are staying safe during this challenging and unforeseen time across the globe. We would firstly like to thank you for your patience and support as we work to respond to the thousands of individual customer queries, booking amendments and refunds.
We would like to note that due to Coronavirus outbreak, we have received a huge volume of contact from customers who are concerned about how their holiday is affected. It may take us longer than usual to respond at the moment, but rest assured we are working hard to reply to every customer query as quickly as we can.
When will I receive my refund?
We're working as quickly as possible to get any money back to those customers who are owed a refund. In many cases, we are waiting for the money for the cost of flights to be refunded by the airline.
Additionally, unlike many other travel companies, Sunshine.co.uk is offering eligible customers a full cash refund alongside the option to move their holiday to a later date.
The ongoing situation with Covid-19 is unprecedented and affecting us all in many different ways. We truly appreciate the patience and support of all of our customers during this challenging time.

We’ve checked your booking and can confirm that it is still active, which is why you are continuing to receive correspondence from us regarding the booking.
We can also see that you’ve been in contact with our team via Live Chat, where guidance was provided on how to request a full cancellation of your holiday.
To move this forward, please follow the guidance provided and submit your cancellation request. Once we receive your request, we’ll be able to process the cancellation, and you’ll receive confirmation once this has been completed.

Our flight home was cancelled
Our flight home was cancelled. As this was a package holiday we would have expected Sunshine to contact us to assist. We have heard nothing at all from Sunshine and have been completely unable to contact them. We eventually got through to a chatbot who was no help whatsoever.

We completely understand how stressful and frustrating it must have been to have your return flight cancelled, especially when you were expecting support and assistance with getting home.
When a flight is cancelled, the airline is responsible for arranging an alternative flight and, where the replacement flight is not on the same day, providing suitable accommodation where required. If you have had to arrange your own accommodation, please keep hold of any receipts, as these can be submitted to the airline when making a claim for the costs incurred.
We have also sent you a response requesting some further details, including your booking reference number, so that we can look into your specific circumstances and provide you with further assistance.

Good, found it straight forward but I'm trying to up grade my flight seat. Iv emailed a few times and haven't had a reply as yet. Been through toairli e but they said the holiday company need to arrange upgrades.

I have now been trying to contact them…
I have now been trying to contact them by telephone for 3 days to add a transfer (which should work up to 7 days before departure- but isn't) - The live chat facility doesn't work and the phone function is appalling - it cuts you off at the drop of a hat - You literally have no phone support or live chat support - Extremely frustrating.
I have now had a response. Telling me what to do again ..... It doesn't work. That is the whole point. And of course no telephone number to speak to anyone.

This was our second holiday with sunshine. Booking and information was straightforward, finding the transfer kiosk was easier than last year. The only downside was waiting over an hour for the transfer bus to arrive at the airport, which in turn made us later arriving at the hotel causing us to miss our evening meal, as it did last year
