A note on the COVID-19 pandemic

We hope you are staying safe during this challenging and unforeseen time across the globe. We would firstly like to thank you for your patience and support as we work to respond to the thousands of individual customer queries, booking amendments and refunds.

We would like to note that due to Coronavirus outbreak, we have received a huge volume of contact from customers who are concerned about how their holiday is affected. It may take us longer than usual to respond at the moment, but rest assured we are working hard to reply to every customer query as quickly as we can.

When will I receive my refund?

We're working as quickly as possible to get any money back to those customers who are owed a refund. In many cases, we are waiting for the money for the cost of flights to be refunded by the airline.

Additionally, unlike many other travel companies, Sunshine.co.uk is offering eligible customers a full cash refund alongside the option to move their holiday to a later date.

The ongoing situation with Covid-19 is unprecedented and affecting us all in many different ways. We truly appreciate the patience and support of all of our customers during this challenging time.

Stressful time pre holiday

Stressful time pre holiday, received email 14 days prior to leaving saying flight has been cancelled you do not have to do anything we will be back in touch, heard nothing for 12 days, I tried contacting but you can only chat online and could not get answers when / or if we are going on holiday. Could still book seats on same flight through airline so I managed to check in,so we took chance and drove the 150 miles to Edinburgh to find no problems with flight, shocking deal from Sunshine holidays could not contact anyone, cost me £80 more than should have due to last minute car parking and a lot of stress would have been 300 mile round trip for nothing if flights cancelled,

Shocking customer service

I booked a holiday through sunshine holidays and have noticed that my outbound flight has been cancelled. I've still to be told by sunshine holidays that this is the case and we fly out in less than 3 weeks. I've tried contacting them, but all I can speak to is a BOT. This was almost a week ago and I have yet to receive any correspondence from them. Absolutely shocking way to treat customers. All I want is my money back and i am getting nowhere!!!

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the way my refund has been handled by Sunshine. What should have been a straight forward process has dragged on for months with no resolution. My flights and airport were changed, yet despite this, I have been stuck going round and round in circles trying to get my money back.

It is incredibly frustrating that there is no clear way to speak to a real person, only a bot that does not resolve anything! On multiple occasions, I have been told that my refund has been processed, yet it is still not in my bank account!

The lack of communication, accountability and basic customer service is unacceptable. This experience has been stressful and time-consuming. I have had to take time off work hours and days on end trying to contact a human being at this company! I would not recommend this company to anyone based on how poorly this situation has been handled.

Today, yet again I have tried to get through to a human being and still being sent round and round in circles by a bot!

Have used sunshine holidays multiple times and I am very satisfied with the service I receive. I like that I can pay my balance up to 1 month before departure. The payment scheme is very easy to access, and you can choose a date that suits you. Always been cheaper booking with sunshine than other tour operators. We have no issues with this company. Have used them for almost 5 years, sometimes booking between 2-3 holidays per year. A fantastic company

Lovely peaceful location

Lovely peaceful location. The hotel was clean and the staff were amazing and all very helpful. The hotel was exceptional value for money for a 3 star hotel. We would definitely stay again.

My holiday with this company was amazing except..

My holiday with this company was excellent as always, apart from one major problem. As I added a person to the trip & so was no longer travelling alone, the changes were made on the site but the transfers etc were not informed. So I had to battle to get both of us on the coach at the airport & back to the airport. This after I even called to make sure everything was fine. I also had to show proof at hotel, as they still had it as one person. This really is not acceptable & has damaged my amazing view of the company so much that sadly I will no longer use them again
