Quality products and good customer service!

Supermarket Italy uses Shopify for the payment and web services. Shopify is causing errors in shipping addresses and in completion of shipping. The orders are very slow. The last three orders have had problems, with shipping of perishable meats being lost and sitting in trucks for maybe a week. I am unlikely to order from Supermarket Italy again because of these problems.

Received my order quickly and everything was well packed. I’ve been ordering for several years now and always look forward to my shipment arriving.

Excellent Italian products, extensive selection even into other ethnic foods at times. Fresh well sealed cheese, butter, pastas. Responsive customer service, great packaging and quick shipping.

Their point system is also nice to accumulate a discount if a repeat customer. “One more thing…” SM will extend a discount code to you if you ask and your product therefore isn’t immediately available. Just ask. Holiday promos up to 20% sure help, but it is good to know they’ll give you a “rain check” - if you ask and ask in advance - not after the fact! Also, they have an automated system that will email you as soon as your desired out of stock is back in.

Supermarket Italy sent an email the day following my unsuccessful attempts to contact customer service. They corrected the problem immediately - I'm really happy to see they haven't changed.

Bought Panforte. I ate this once a year growing up. My Gram would send it every year. I love this stuff. It is as good as I remember.

I've been buying foodstuffs and condiments at SMI for years. My go to online supplier, and I am seldom dissatisfied with the products. I'll continue being a patron. Great place.

As others have said, I will order again and I consider this a new, reliable source for unique and hard to find products at very reasonable prices! Shipping, when there is a charge, is reasonable. I haven't needed customer service. Sales are awesome with very low prices. Love this website!

I found this site through an online search and chose it to purchase Peruvian chilli pastes because site advertised free shipping. After card was charged the record showed ~$10 shipping had been added. Site is deceptive. I would rather be told upfront. Walmart would have thrown in an additional variety for the same price.

Reasonable prices and choices of products.

Just like others have stated, the packaging and shipping is phenomenal. The products I can't find anymore are in this store, plus items I have to try for the first time. best shopping since the wheel.

We are a small business that ordered several snack items for our new store. There were a few items we ordered because the description on their site said "Refrigerate after opening", which would mean it would not have to be refrigerated until it was opened. When we got them they came with a note that said they are only good without refrigeration for 15 days, meaning we would have to refrigerate them in store, which we cannot do. We would not have ordered these items had we known.
I have sent several emails and received no response. I have called the phone number on the site three times and only one time did someone answer and when I asked if it was Supermarket Italy she hung up. I was on live chat for over two hours. The person told me to return them but when I asked if the cost of shipping would be refunded as it was not our mistake but theirs because of incorrect description, I received no response. I also wanted an invoice which apparently is not possible because no one will even acknowledge that I asked for it. The live chat was never ended but they stopped responding.
