Best connection Bolton is an excellent agency and I would highly recommend this agency, as a class 1 driver they kept me in consistent work with plenty of overtime, Alison Jones is a credit to the agency, always has time for you and looks after her drivers, I can honestly say this is the best agency I have ever worked for, wages always paid on time, unlike some agencies, Alison is always going above and beyond, she is always willing to listen and help out, I have to say all the team including Mia are great. I went to submit everything on their candidate portal. On the employment declarations section, it wants to confirm or declare something with no option button and it won't let me type in the bar so what am I supposed to do??? I can't move onto the next part of the hiring stage without confirming something with no option.

It also accidentally submitted my work history before I even put my history in on the system and it won't let me edit it so I can't put it on. Some employer is going to see I didn't do it and not hire because how many other applicants probably have done it.

The layout is really confusing, I can't really describe it but I couldn't even book the correct date for my interview. I tried to rebook but nope, now it says "no invitations for booking a interview".

Great experience, professional and quick service, friendly folks. As a non-native English speaker sometimes I struggle with communication, but they were patient and so easy going.

Started a contract with Best Connection Exeter, agreed a rate for nights, days and weekends, this was verified in a contractual notification, I worked nearly 2 weeks expecting to be paid at the agreed rates only to have a phone call informing me that the client had dropped the rates to a single much lower rate!!! This was complete rubbish, it is my belief that they are trying to make more money from me. Not been paid yet but I have assured them that if I do not get what was promised I will have no issues with taking this legal, we had a contract and although they have not yet broke it, because I haven't yet been paid, I will act if not paid on time or correctly. I'm gutted because I trusted this company but not anymore.b

They are one of the worst agencies In London. They are simply there to exist and not help anyone get a job. I have applied to numerous vacancies and they would never get back to me. I would even call them and the person that answers will sound very angry. If your looking for agency job I suggest you look elswhere because if you go with best connection you are going to be unemployed for very long time.

Absolutely appalling communication between the agency and their workers. They don’t get anything done properly and on time and when challenged about this they don’t accept an ounce of responsibility and make you feel like it’s your fault. I am working at a site where at least 3 people have gone from this agency to contracted staff and they were completely negligent in sorting out p45s and holiday pay. I have never encountered an agency as bad with communication as this one. No accountability and poor communication.

I had a great experience with this agency from start to finish. They were professional, friendly, and kept me informed throughout the whole recruitment process. Communication was excellent, and everything was explained clearly. My induction was well organised, and they made the process smooth and stress-free.

I couldn't register with the closest office due to their postcode restrictions.
It was ok when I had a 6 month placement at a company 20 miles away.
They kept offering me work 55-60 miles away from my house and every single time I had to explain why I was refusing.

A family member took ill and I told them I was unavailable until further notice.
Despite this they kept pestering me to do days for them.
The last time they rang I was actually in the registrars office recording the death of said family member and I asked if I could ring them back for a discussion. She said they'd ring me again this afternoon.
Ok I said.
A few minutes later they rang back with an attitude saying they couldnt wait until this afternoon to talk with me even though this wasnt what I said... They did.
Then they said they're going to take me off the list. Which was exactly what I told them to do a month prior had they listened. Oh and she heard a kitchen appliance in the background and proclaimed I was working for someone else. (She thought it was a reverse beacon.) I mean even if that were true what did that have to do with them? I wasn't under contract.

Ok if you're desperate, but prepare for 5am calls asking you to travel 30 miles and can you be there at 6? Its the nature of agency work I suppose.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with The Best Connection Employment Group.

I have applied at least 7 times for the same position — an Inventory Coordinator role at a hospital that is only a 15-minute walk from where I live. I have the relevant skills and experience, and I am local, yet each time I receive an unsuccessful email with no explanation whatsoever as to why I have not been considered.

After several applications, I took the time to send a specially crafted letter to my local Earl's Court branch, politely asking for any feedback, even a brief explanation, so I could understand where I may be falling short and what I could improve. Unfortunately, I did not even receive a response.

I completely understand that not every application will be successful, but repeatedly rejecting someone without any feedback or communication is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Applicants deserve to know where they stand, especially when they appear to meet the requirements and are ideally located for the role.

I will now request that my personal data be removed in line with GDPR regulations, and I will not be applying for any further roles with this company.

A very poor experience, sadly not one I would recommend.

Furthermore, the lack of a reply to my comment here will clearly illustrate my point: they are indifferent to engaging with me or addressing my concerns. This silence speaks volumes about their level of care and interest in maintaining communication.

I spoke with the manager today regarding a job role and was treated unfairly and was very unprofessional I there approach I spoke with one of the managers who was very rude and I have been promised jobs in the past for months but as I said they was never let down made them money and I decide not to do one job for them as was not something that interested me and now they tell me to ring as I do and the management have been terrible with me and made me feel uncomfortable and I am discusted how I have been treated.Paul

Two bob agency, still waiting to be paid

The worst agency there can possibly be. Very little work and what work there is isn't always paid. A day of work I done two weeks ago wasn't paid last week and hasn't been paid this week. I'm barely surviving.
They ignore communications and the right hand never seems to know what the left is doing. I've had contact with the Area Manager but she only has excuses and no resolutions.
Do not sign up with this company if you want regular work and want to be paid for it. I'd also urge client companies to go elsewhere to alternative cheaper agencies.

Traveled half hour to register and the registration was slow so had to leave and finish at home because car park ticket was running out and never had reply to couple jobs I was interested in.total waste of time don’t deal with this place

I went to the Mansfield branch to inquire and apply for a job, they had me register and told me they would be in contact, after receiving no contact even to confirm if I hadn't got the position, I ended up calling them to see if there was any update and basically got "sorry, we haven't heard anything", well, neither have I. They didn't seem that interested and I've heard nothing since despite giving them my CV. The only reason for 2 stars is because it was actual people and not AI

The Eastbourne branch - specifically Drew and Harry can sure pull their weight.
Never a shortage of quality positions for both temporary and permanent work.
