I ordered a samurai sword and a sword stand late in the day on the 21st of December 2025. True to their word it was despatched the next day and delivered on the 23rd. I am extremely pleased with the quality of it and a very reasonable price. I will be ordering a samurai helmet as soon as it's in stock.

I admittedly left my Christmas shopping quite late this year and only purchased the sword on the 22nd. I wrote a comment on the bottom of my order asking if it was possible to deliver it before Christmas as a present (which they highlighted on the packing slip). Well, by lunchtime on the 23rd, I now have the sword and it is very well packaged and protected, and in great condition! Couldn't be happier with the service from The Knight Shop, will definitely be a returning customer!

First order took payment then said it was out of stock. In the end I had to change the sword to a one they actually had after waiting months. Nothing is ever in stock regardless of what the site says. The site is a complete waste of time it's nothing more than pictures they dont even have the items

every time i buy something there is a problem, first time they got my adress wrong and had to get the parcel from far away depo just so it turns out the item was faulty as well. Second time the product turned out to be out of stock even to it was listed as in stock. Third time the order did not go throug at all utterly useless.

The reason this is five stars and not one or two star is down to Megan. She really went above and beyond from taking care of returning the 1st sword I ordered (Oni katana) that had a major issue, to checking out another sword in stock and then getting the Dragon King Shi katana checked out and delivered to me so fast.
Since my plan is to purchase 16 more Katana's to fill out a display and problems happen, it's great I get to deal with someone like her when they occur.

The person responsible for the QC check on the Shi Katana treated that sword with care and did their job so well they even found a super slight blemish on the kissaki that I honestly would have missed had it not been reported to me 1st and for only £800 I have to give the sword itself 9/10. Credit where it's due, Dragon King hit the nail on the head on my model at least. It would be nice when I purchase more if they were close or on the same level, but we'll see.

As for the person who did the QC check on the Oni... I hope they never let them touch another sword again. They did not even try to do their job or follow the training they must have been given at all. That was the work of someone who clearly hates their job.

The sword I ordered is of exceptional quality, especially considering the price.
Delivery took approximately 10 days from the date I placed my order.
I have no hesitation in giving The Knight Shop a five star rating.

I have recently made numerous purchases through the Knight Shop, and whilst generally I am happy with my items, there have been a few I have had queries about as they didn't live up to expectations/had marks on them.

The sales representatives I have spoken to over the phone and by email have been nothing but helpful and have helped in returning defective items quite promptly, or offering alternative solutions.

There is a wide selection and overall I believe the price to be quite fair, but it can vary depending on the manufacturer.

For now, they have gained a loyal customer.

Purchased 2 swords, an armorial one with my family crest, and a william wallace great sword - was told promptly that the greatsword was on back order. Waited a couple months but didn’t hear anything back - rang up and got it exchanged near enough instantly. Both of them arrived today, excellent quality, they even waived the £5 difference (doesn’t seem like a lot but it’s still nice) between the exchanged items. Top quality service and product, highly recommend!

I think I've returned three out of five orders.

Once theyer purchase system said it was in stock but it was a six month wait for Hema helmets.

Avoid they're cheaper HEMA swords any thing under £400 is a death trap and they don't care.

This has been passed to me re. the suggested description change.

These swords have been in regular use by HEMA groups since at least 2006 when I started HEMA.



They are very much entry level sabres, as reflected in the price – less than half the price of a Regenyei Sabre etc



They are great for drilling with, and people who spar with them simply cap the ends (there are plenty of ways I’ve seen over the years from rubber arrow tips to ammo cartridge cases).

Obviously we spar to the level of kit we are using, so you wouldn’t be doing full intensity thrusts with this sabre in the same way you would do with the more flexible (and expensive) tournament sabres etc



I’ve seen these sabres used in inter-club tournaments in the US recently so some competitions even deem them tournament safe (I don’t think they are and would certainly never advertise them as such).



If you are just intending to spar with it at club level, I think most people wouldn’t have a problem with that providing the end was capped (our club would be fine with that). It’s a very serviceable and capable sword for the price. Of course the Regenyei sabres etc are more versatile for competition use etc but more than twice the price.



If you still want to go ahead with the collection, that is of course fine, but it wouldn’t be on the basis that the sword is advertised incorrectly.

Absolutely would not recommend. The product sold was with faulty fixtures and fittings and they were entirely unwilling to help despite concerns being raised previously. Damage was caused to the board as a result of the faulty fixtures and no refund/exchange offered.

Great items and price mostly a good on line experience. But don't go to the shop ,very bad customer service face to face.

As I was ordering over the Christmas period, they were proactive in providing ETAs for one item which needed to be obtained from another supplier.

So thoroughly recommended, though odd to see that Ace Rimmer works there.

Excellent customer service and great prices for quality items. Having done a fair bit of comparisons, site for site and product for product, I concluded that The Knight Shop was by far the best value for money with fast delivery; if calling to order, which I find preferable over electronic buying, they were very helpful. Overall lovely

Order just arrived … perfect. I’ve got it for cutting our wedding cake next year being of Welsh decent and wearing the Williams tartan cilt (no’k’ in Welsh).
I will need to sharpen the edges though … not a problem being an ex Design Technology teacher.
 Really impressed with standard of production. I won’t however be wearing it in my sock in the Scottish sgian-dubh style!

Ordered a shield that wasn’t in stock (was on back order) communication throughout was impeccable and item arrived far quicker than I expected. Beautifully made too and very well packaged. Arrived yesterday and I’m so happy. Will definitely use The Knight Shop again.

The best service ever. I´m from Denmark and i orderet a sword, had many problems with delivery into the country, but Naomi fra the shop helped and never gave up. last I got the sword.

I have bought 2 items from the knight shop. Both items were great quality.the despatch time was excellent. I've bought them for my partner for his birthday, he is going to be amazed.The prices are excellent too. I will definitely be buying from here again. Highly recommended I'd give 10* but only allowed 5

I didnt make it easy... i put an order during the end of the corona-lookdowns from the netherlands. Brexit just kick in, china wasnt shiping to much, one item was out of stock etc.
So it came in (more then) a bit late... but the communication was excellent. Just 1 contact-person (Naomi) i emailed with, and she was pro-active.

And when it came finally, i wasnt at all disappointed.
All sizes/specs fit the description.. oke, the braces from the red dragon trousers are to slipperly, but the fencingmask was a perfect fit.. blabla...

It's a realy good shop with great service. If i can't get it in the euro-zone, i'll buy from them again.
