Fish can sometimes arrive looking dull or washed out from the stress of shipping, with their colors improving as they settle in and acclimate. Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear you lost two fish and understand how disappointing that can be.

Our Live Arrival Guarantee is designed to cover fish that arrive deceased or in poor condition, which is why we ask customers to notify us within 2 hours of delivery. After fish have been in a new aquarium for days or weeks, there are many factors that can affect their health, making it impossible to determine the cause of a loss.

Even though the first fish passed well outside of our guarantee period, we still offered a replacement as a one-time courtesy because we wanted to help. Unfortunately, we’re not able to replace fish that perish weeks after delivery, as we need to apply the same policy fairly and consistently for all of our customers.

We’re sorry your experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate that you gave us the opportunity to earn your business. We wish you and your aquarium all the best moving forward.

If you have an account, you simply enter the password you created when setting it up. If you don't have an account, you can still visit our website at www.theifishstore.com where our phone number and email address are clearly listed. No login is required.

In addition, our phone number and email address are included in the order confirmation emails and on the paperwork that arrives with every shipment, so there are multiple ways to reach us.
