We did issue a credit for the four corydoras that were lost, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to make that right. Waiting until your aquarium was fully cycled would have given them a much better chance. We’re sorry there was an error on the shipment date on this end and your order arrived before you were ready.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear two of your discus didn’t make it. We do want to clarify that our Live Arrival Guarantee is a 2-hour notification window, not a 2-hour return policy. That window allows us to quickly assess any issues and help determine the best course of action while the fish are still acclimating.

Even though the first fish passed away the following day and was outside of our 2-hour notification window, we still would have been happy to look into it since you mentioned it never really recovered from shipment. If a fish doesn’t appear healthy upon arrival or seems to be struggling during acclimation, we always encourage customers to contact us as soon as possible. In many cases, we can help assess the situation and recommend steps that may improve the outcome.

We’re glad to hear the other four are doing well, although we’re sorry another was lost a few weeks later. We also understand your disappointment that three of the remaining fish looked alike. Our assorted discus packs are selected from the varieties available at the time, and while we do our best to provide a nice mix, duplicates can occasionally happen.

We appreciate you giving us a try and wish you and your discus the very best. Happy fishkeeping.
