Toy planet is very good when it comes to all types of products,I’ve had consoles games retro figures & new figures & been completely satisfied all round,any problems Steve the manager has always been there to help & sort any problems out,this shop takes pride in what they do & sell & will always make sure your happy as they are enthusiasts as much as the customers are so they know what is expected of what they are selling with the knowledge aswell which is why they are able to source some incredible rare retro products complete & boxed in some amazing conditions

Great place with amazing staff. I have visited toy planet many times over the years and watched it expand. The owner and staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend a visit and will continue to visit the shop.

Extremely helpful and a time well spent reminiscing for hours among the countless amount of items in the shop. It is really a place for everyone of all ages and is amazing for the kids.

A feast of toys and games! 3 of my top 5 Vintage Star Wars items have come from this shop. I’m not sure how he does it but Steve (manager) is like the toy whisperer! Outside of just Vintage Star Wars the shop has expanded and moved premises twice since I first shopped there due to their continued success and the demand for shops like this. I love the community vibe and his annual charity events. Top Marks!! I drive an hour for this shop, it’s worth it.

The staff are full of knowledge on products that they sell. Lovely staff to chat and always feel at ease shopping in store.

Ordered a vintage G1 Transformer. No issues, good communication and fast delivery, well packaged.

We are truly grateful for Medi's support and for Toy Planet's very helpful, cheerful and experienced staff! We can't thank you all enough!

Very Disappointed with the dishonest staff and advertising at this shop!

Bought some second hand lego mini figures that were priced in a cabinet, paid for them at the counter, as soon as the transaction was finished the staff removed a part of the mini figures and informed me it would cost extra for this part!!!!!

This was not stated anywhere in the shop and i was only informed after they took my money!!!!

I think this might even be illegal, false advertising.

I Felt this was absolutely not fair and would be awful to see a child ( the main clientele of this shop) disappointed in this way!!!!

Cannot recommend enough. Have purchased ps5's from them twice (for different family members). This time UPS temporarily misplaced them and Steve couldn't have been more helpful in resolving. They turned up a couple of days later but they were happy to refund (thankfully not necessary). Five star service, absolutely spot on.

Ordered online the item showed in stock. A week later hadn’t had a shipping notification so messaged them and was refunded. Waste of time.

If I could give 0 stars I would.

Pre ordered a ps5, assured me he could get them and then when he ‘secured more stock’ offered me another for my brother who was looking.

Release day - emailed at 3:15 to say it was cancelled, called him, he knew he wouldn’t get stock.

2 weeks on, he finally admits he hadn’t refunded me. Blamed the merchant, I’m £600 down but he can’t help. Tells me when it’s sorted, he’d transfer me (more lies) he never did. I’m sure he just didn’t have the money in the bank so it bounced. I got it eventually but not worth the stress.

Absolute nightmare chasing, I mean chasing as he hasn’t returned any of my calls, it’s all me calling him, to get my £600 back.

Finally sorted and in these uncertain times when we should all support local businesses, I wouldn’t ever ever support a local business again.

I located others who’d left reviews via Facebook. This experience wasn’t just me.

Great local business. Steve and the team are always friendly and helpful and will welcome you to the shop.

Me and the kids often pop in on the weekends to have a look, the stock changes frequently so its always worth a browse.

This store deleted bad reviews from facebook and google!!! A lot of people were lied about PS5 preorders and only found out they were not getting them 24h before they were due. There are excuses about "how business works" but its false as they knew they are getting 20 PS5s in the first batch back in September and had opportunity to fix over selling. But chose not to, it is not how business works.

10/10 for a great service, had no issues ordering and delivered exactly on time. People reviewing after missing out on PS5s are being very unfair on a fantastically run, decent local business who’s fault it was not. Hats off to the toy planet team and as soon as lockdown is finished my son is desperate for me to take him there too! Thank you guys, I’m glad to spend my money outside of the likes of Amazon.

Fantastic service, pre ordered a ps5, they kept in regular contact, warned that stock wasn't guaranteed but they would try their best. Ps5 delivered on release day, i have a soon to be 7 year old boy who will be absolutely made up. Please ignore the negative reviews regarding pre order, really unfair given that there was a warning they were not guaranteed. To leave a poor review of a small business in this economic climate is a pretty shoddy thing to do. Not cool

Such a great place to have available in Wantage.
A great team that is led by Steve.
Have purchased a few things from them but today was extra special as I picked up my PS5 and some extras.
I was kept informed throughout the pre order process and they responded quickly to all my really annoying “is it here yet” questions.
I recommend everyone to give the shop a try, I guarantee you will buy something.
Ignore the nay-sayers, try it for yourself.

So disappointed, ordered one and paid full amount, was told don’t worry you have one when I questioned it, so I didn’t look to order another as I thought I had one. Had a call to say would be in the 2nd batch and fingers crossed it would be before Xmas. I’m guessing you took too many orders with full amount of money paid. What am I Ment to do now as I can’t get one now? All I got was an email with a refund no phone call or warning

People saying about leaving bad reviews because i missed out, I Pre ordered in September was told it was definitely mine but day after release no contact just an email with a refund- what do I tell my children at Christmas now?

Amazing shop. I pre ordered the PS5 and asked if they could deliver it to my work. And they did. Steve is a Legend. Ignore the bad reviews about pre orders. It's not Toy Planets fault. They was promised loads of consoles and the distribution hub failed them.
