After many years of owning Timex watches I am now finished with them. Bought a new expedition watch the indigo failed after a month. Sent the watch back for repair. Watch returned unrepaired. So I had to send it back again. Then they told me it couldn't be repaired but I could choose a replacement up to the value of £90 from the watches in stock on the website. The whole website has 4 watches in stock under £90, none of which were anything like my original purchase. Timex have really lost their way, they used to be such a trusted brand.

Awful dreadful customer care. I trusted the name as a UK site but in reality they are in the Philippines. Failed to deliver no explanation. They insisted I be at home to receive in person. They used DHL as courier. They advised a one hour time slot. No show. No explanation no apology no UK customer service desk, opaque method of contacting them. Need tracking number and order number. Eventually found a chat contact -Jade in the Philippines would not accept my cancelling the order on basis they failed to deliver. Do not trust this company, do not give them your money, use Amazon instead.

An overall poor experience with Timex.
Bought a watch online and it was dispatched with Evri. After several follow up emails and calls to Evri and Timex I was told the watch was misplaced/lost.

A month later there is no watch and no refund, nor an outcome from their 'customer service ' . I had to raise a case with my payment method as I am not going anywhere with them.

I bought a Timex Expedition watch and after three months it has stopped working there is zero customer service and even ended up talking to a guy in America who was as much use as a chocolate fire guard will never buy a Timex again

Okay first off I have to say i have not used Timex UK i'm an American i just want to say this is the only watch that I been able to keep for any length of time without braking yes I have broken a few But I always due to over abuse i can at least get years out of them and go through a battery or two or three sometimes they're the only watch I will buy Anymore I've learned the hard way with other brands

Really bad thought I'd bought a watch, had confirmation and then order was cancelled no reason why! Very disappointed will not use again if buying this brand will use third party suppliers in future.

Absolute rubbish. Broke after three months. They can’t fix it. No offer of refund yet and won’t give a replacement because it was on offer and they can’t match the price. Sorry I did not read the other reviews before buying. All AI responses. It is illegal in the UK/EU not to offer a refund if a replacement under proper circumstances cannot be offered. But very poor sales/consumer ethos . In fact I think it all a clever Scam not to refund or replace very cheap and poorly made watches. I’ll await a further two weeks and give them a chance to respond properly but then if no further response I’ll simply sue the UK Timex company through the on line legal service. It will make me feel better . Do not buy from Timex until they are as consumer centric as other multinationals.

I bought a Timex watch in May 2024, it broke 9 months later, so still under warranty. Contacted customer services, which is only in the USA it seems. The watch was sent back and confirmed by Timex to be faulty, and that they couldn't offer a like for like replacement. They advised me to pick another watch from their shop but I didn't want another style. There was no mention of a refund which is contrary to Consumer Rights Act 2015 for faulty goods. I have since requested a refund 4 times, through email and phone. As other reviews say, cut and paste 'we're looking in to it' responses. Timex currently have my watch and nearly £150 of my money and I'm not sure I'm going to see that money again at this rate.
Update: Timex contacted me on day 10 of their refund window to confirm my details. I had put in a digit incorrectly of my sort-code - my bad. I sent the correct details by return. It is now 11 working days since then, another email sent with no reply and NO REFUND. I will have to request a chargeback from my bank at this rate. I do not understand how this company continues to trade when it treats its customers so badly.

Was looking on their website at a watch was offered 15% discount code so entered it in the box to see what cost would be and it placed the order without the discount phone customer services immediately and was told tough luck you can send the watch back when you get it and we will refund minus shipping fees (free delivery not free returns) even though not my fault and they have ignored all my further correspondence

Really happy with my watch when it arrived in May.
Really concerned when the watch kept falling off its pins.
Really unhappy when the first strap holder broke in August.
Less happy to learn there was no warranty and I would be charged £25 for a full new strap as they wouldn’t replace just the strap holders.
When the second strap holder broke I was less happy still.
Contact throughout with Timex was very slow. Kept being redirected from the US (much better customer service) to the UK where I kept having to retell my problems.
Watch kept falling off its pins - almost lost it several times.
Then the metal clasp broke off the watch.
Sent it away and they agreed to cover postage.
27 days past - I chased them every day after the 10 they said to allow.
They wanted to charge me £23.00
I complained again and explained the above .
They offered a 20% discount to fix the watch that had been failing from the start.
I paid over the phone .
Received no confirmation on whether payment had been received or the watch was being returned.
I chased them again. They told me it had been sent - zero apology.
Still haven’t received my watch.

Would not buy from them again

I wish I’d thought to check these reviews before ordering my husband a watch for his birthday. The watch arrived - the wrong watch, a ladies watch. I rang Timex’s UK freephone customer service number only to find that I was actually ringing the USA and they don’t keep UK hours. It transpired they don’t offer exchanges, even when it’s their mistake. My only option was to return the watch via Evri for a refund. I live nearly 30 miles from the nearest Evri drop-point so I’ve had to pay extra to send the watch back via tracked Royal Mail. Timex won’t refund this cost. The fact that I am disabled and can’t drive the 30 miles to an Evri point is, it seems, just tough luck. Every contact with Timex’s customer service has been just scripted responses and cut and paste emails. I would strongly urge anyone to avoid these cowboys like the plague. If I could give a negative rating, I would!

I ordered a Timex TW2W70800 automatic. The watch is fantastic; I adjusted the links without using any tools. It was easy to set the time and date. The quality of the watch is solid and beautifully crafted. Would definitely order again. Many thanks 👍.

I purchased a £170 watch around 4 years ago. It recently stopped working so I sent it to their official repair partner. However, they advised that the parts are no longer available so it can't be repaired. They are however, still selling this watch in a variety of different colour schemes. The environmental cost of having to throw away an expensive watch that is less than five years old is scary. Honestly, I would avoid.

Terrible Customer Service – No Refund or Replacement!

I ordered a watch from Timex on January 3rd, but it never arrived. The tracking status claimed it was delivered to my doorstep, yet I never received it. I followed every step Timex and the delivery company required, provided all necessary information, and despite this, I am still waiting for a refund or replacement.

I have sent multiple emails to chase the status of my case, but now my emails are completely ignored. This level of customer service is unacceptable. A reputable company should take responsibility for lost deliveries and at least communicate with their customers.

I have now escalated this issue to PayPal in an attempt to get my money back. If you’re considering ordering from Timex, beware—if something goes wrong, you may be left without your product or your money. I will never order from them again.

Bought a expedition titanium automatic for myself for Christmas. It arrived and was obviously a return from a previous customer, the watch was in the box with the inner packaging and label lying loose beside it. As the watch looked perfectly fine I decided just to keep it. Unfortunately three days later the watch stopped and wouldn't start again. I emailed the company and got an Ai response, I decided to then just return it and hope for the best. Around three weeks later to my surprise I did receive a refund, hence the second star. Overall unimpressed by the company and there product.

I bought a Timex watch from their website in July 2024
A function packed up in November and I emailed them with details.
The response was - we will pass this on to the relevant department.
2 weeks later i send a chasing email. The response was to ask what the problem was. I replied with a cut and paste from the earlier email and a request for a prompt reply this time.
3 days later I get a reply, asking me to contact another department and tell them what the problem is (it’s very simple - function X isn’t working.) I reply, asking them why they don’t simply forward my email to their colleagues (they all seem to be “customer support”). No reply.
I email this next address on 23 December and get a reply - they’re closed until 2 January.
I don’t know if Timex (I can’t tell if I’m dealing with Timex EU or UK or both) are totally inept, or if it’s company policy to sidestep warranty claims

Watch arrived and the quick release pin is faulty so the bracelet doesn’t stay attached to the watch. Tried live chat and emailed, nobody seems interested. Really poor customer service once they have your money. Wouldn’t buy from them again.

Worst customer services experience i have ever had. They sent me totally the wrong watch. I sent 4 emails and sat on their live chat for 45 minutes and i didn't get a reply from any of them. So, i am stuck with a watch i didn't order and don't want. I will never buy a watch from them again.

No complaints at all - placed the order Monday and received it Wed. Very happy with the watch. It was packaged extremely well and delivered very quickly.
