Travelon Bags Reviews

The bag was everything advertised. It allowed us to travel throughout Europe with more ease concerning pickpockets

I have the waist bag…… And I love it so much that I bought allll three colors. I travel a lot and it has just enough room for all my things. The security features keep my valuables safe and I love alll the compartments!!! I would definitely recommend this bag!!

I've taken 4 different Travelon bags on European vacations. I trust the security of the anti theft precautions built into the designs. I love that they are fashionabel that i don't think I stand out like a tourist. They are very comfortable and lightweight. The one time I took another brand bag, it chaffed my neck and I donated it immediately upon return.

We have over the years bought four Travelon Bags. We both have our own Travelon backpacks which we use everyday. They are by far the best backpacks on the market. We travel a lot and because they have clips to make it difficult for pickpockets to get in to the bags they find an easier target. They also hold a lot of stuff. They have lots of nice pockets, some are even hard to find. We also have one of the over the shoulder bags for if we are going out to dinner or just don’t need a backpack. They are also very nice and just as hard for pickpockets too get into. Lastly we have an under jacket body document and money pouch. Similar to the cheap ones that are the money belt idea. I like this one better because it is right next to my chest and is very comfortable and provides a prefect way to access my passport, credit cards and cash. My little tip is that if you need to access your credit cards or money go to the washroom and in a stall or even better a single person washroom then take out what you need and put it in a safe pocket and then keep everything in the pouch and close your shirt and coat then make your purchase and pay for your dinner. You can not go wrong with Travelon products. They really do everything they claim to do. Bryan H Victoria BC Canada

I have always liked the products from Travelon that are designed to make traveling easier and safer. The handbags are my favorite items because of the anti-theft and RFID features.

I only have travelon bags. I don’t just use them for travel but for everyday use.

Size ,weight and color are 3 important factors in a great bag and Travelon has them

Nice looking bags with a very good anti theft concept.
All detail well thought like a mini torch light

Perfect size to take the necessities as we got off the cruise for exertions. The strap was comfortable and didn't snag my clothes. Pockets were helpful. Light weight. I'd use for all my travels now.

Love the functionality of the bag. Have had it for a while but unfortunately midway through my trip to South America one of the zips is not closing properly. I have to open it all the way and make sure all the teeth align then slowly close it. Sometimes it closes properly, other times the teeth don't meet. Very annoying.

1) Concerned that the Travelon soft bottles for liquids and gel contained a warning “Cancer and Reproductive Harm” and also other product limitations, I contacted Customer Service about returning the product and getting refund. I acknowledged that I had missed the cancer and reproductive information on the package. In response, I got a canned reply that was barely responsive to my request and basically said they have no obligation to me as a consumer, only the end seller does. There was no name on the reply. I wrote back to express my disappointment in the response and asked for the name of the person who had sent the original request and also that my complaint be escalated. I didn’t get a response in a reasonable amount of time, so emailed twice more. Eventually, I got a response, it was the same as the original response. There was no escalation.

2) At another time, I contacted Travelon Bags
to see the company carried any of the 24-25 inch suits cases without the Cancer and Reproductive Harm warning. I got a rambling canned no answer. I am convinced the company does not care about customer service, only its revenue stream.

Travelon Classic Sling Bag
The top of the strap seems very secure but the bottom of the strap is attached to the bag through a very flimsy ribbon loop which frayed and broke after about 10 days use - this is a basic design flaw. With such an easy break-point, there is no way that this could be called an 'anti-theft' bag. This was a total waste of money
However, Travelon have now sent me a replacement bag which shows that, as a company, they are eager to address problems
