I booked for them to come and fit at my home. Nobody turned up and there was no communication.

First and last time I will ever try and use this company.

Ordered 4 new tyres on 15th Jan for mobile fitting. Recieve an en email on 22nd Jan PM to say there is a supply issue with the tyres ordered and they will swap my tyres to another brand but XL tyres for fitting on 24rd AM. I was provided with a phone number to call should I not want the alternative tyre. Attempted to call this number, only to be put through to halfords/National tyres who said it wasn't them who dealt with it as it was a mobile fitting order. I was provided with another phone number by them to call instead, which I did. Over 1 1/2 hrs on hold I gave up. A Google search later and I find another number, so call that. Eventually after another half an hour on hold, I get through.

The lady was lovely, however said someone would call be back with possible options for tyres instead. 2 hours later, no call back. So I ring up again and get passed from pillar to post. Finally speaks to a gentleman who couldn't do much as 'someone is in the system already' so he can't see my order or what he can replace them with.

I have had to now cancel the order 2 days before its due an MOT and try and figure something else out instead. All in good faith that he can 'get in the system' after I put the phone down to cancel the order and get my refund within 5 working days!!!!

Absolutely awful service, baring in mind I allowed plentiful time between ordering and fitting. I would give 0 stars but it doesn't let you.

Customer services never get back to emails. See a price from a comparison site for tyres liked the price clicked the link to tyre shopper, price jumps up £25 per tyre more. Trying to ask customer services to match no response. Chat bot is usless. Is anybody even there???

My experience with Tyre Shopper has been nothing short of a nightmare. I handed over £250, got zero communication, none of the mobile fitting appointments were honored, and to top it off, they're ignoring my refund request. Absolutely disgusted with their service. Save yourself the headache and steer clear. I'm so frustrated that I'll be reaching out to my bank for assistance. Terrible service all around.

I paid 400 GBP for tires from Tyre-Shopper and received neither the goods nor any communication. This alarming lack of fulfillment and responsiveness raises concerns of potential fraud. I urge Tyre-Shopper to address this immediately by delivering the tires or issuing a refund. This situation requires urgent attention to prevent further distress and legal implications.

UPDATE 23/01/2024 - Still nothing! Contacted through all possible channels (including mentioned), no reply

UPDATE 02/03/2024 - Finally received my refund. Halford that replied to this review mentioned they have not any relation with tyreshopper. I am glad that they still got my money back. Still one star, as basically they made me a hostage and held my money for a while. I wasted a lot of time and got a lot of stress.

15/01/24 - Just rang and reached out and they have no idea who Chantelle is and how to put me in touch with her and there is no way for me to reply to her in any other way! my order number is 7897603 please contact me on the number that is attached to that order to discuss.

11/01/2024 - Booked a mobile fitting through their website this week on Monday Evening for this Friday. Got an email and text today confirming I had been refunded, no explanation. Wondering if I should rebook I rang their phone number after 20mins waiting for the call to be picked up I get connected, asked why my fitting had been cancelled to be informed that the mobile fitter that previously covered my area was no longer working, I asked why didn’t they have the courtesy to call me to discuss it with me (as they had my number) and if they had rung, they could have amended the booking to allow me to get my tyres done in the very local branch of National Tyres, they had no answer.
Not reliable. Very poor customer service. Very disappointed.

Shocking customer service - 4 mobile appointments failed/cancelled - Nobody answers the phones after waiting on hold over 20mins on multiple occasions - promised call backs but nothing and I still haven’t got my tyres fitted - would I recommend? NO!!!

Prices really good, but chose a fitting service and they all charge extra "premium" charge (so the fitting service doesn't reflect the real price) the irony is for a couple of pounds more halfords will fit at your home.
Like the prices , don't like the hidden prices!!

Tyre fitter turned up but did not bother to try ringing the bell or knocking at the door. Had he done so, he would have been able to do his job and I would have had new tyres. When I am working I cannot always have my mobile to hand.

When I called up to ask why the fitter hadn't turned up, the rep told me that the tyres had been fitted although this was not his fault as I can only assume that's what he was seeing on his screen. He later told me the fitter had turned up but did not bother to try the bell or knock.

No email or text either. I paid a lot of money and will not be messed around like that. Thank you to the rep on the phone for quickly cancelling and refunding my order.

Ordered set of all season tyres on Sunday and as local fit was not available I’ve chosen mobile firing and booked for Wednesday 20th of December. On Monday I’ve received email with order cancellation explaining that the tyres I’ve chosen are out of stock ! Immediately I went online and for my surprise I was able to order these tyres again . Same story mobile fitting but this time booked for Friday 22nd. I have followed my order with call to customer service and being promised that there was a glitch and my tyred will be definitely fired in Friday. On Wednesday 20th I’ve received email with cancellation !!! Again out of stock . How on earth they can do this to people. I’ve ordered these to go for Christmas to see family in Germany . If I have been told on Monday that they are out of stock I would continue to search . Because I’ve been promised them I have stopped the process . Now on Wednesday I have nearly no chance to source them ! Thank you tyre shopper ! You are terrible company. Order numbers 7856864 /7860595

I ordered two rear Continental Premium Contact 6 tyres for my BMW X5. Their contractor, Halfords Mobile, fitted Continental Sport Contact 7 tyres instead which are not the same. I've emailed Tyre Shopper twice and phoned them - even though I was promised a call back it didn't happen. l will now place the whole transaction into dispute with my credit card provider. In future, I won't be using a middleman for my tyres.

UPDATE - I called your customer service number, eventually talking to six different people (Halfords, National, Halford Mobile Fleet, Tyre Shopper etc and the issue is still not resolved. It was not Halfords fault as they fitted the alternative tyres which was ordered by Tyre Shopper. I have now paid National to replace these tyres on Wednesday and Tyre Shopper can arrange collection and a refund.

TYRE SHOPPER ARE BAD NEWS.
Absolutely appalling to deal with and will not be repeating the experience. My advice would be to avoid at all costs. I ordered two tyres online, paid, and booked the fitting at the local National Tyres. Arrived there to be told to wait. They then advised the tyres weren’t there and to return later in the day. They were no help. I then called the Tyre Shopper to cancel helpline and held for over 35 minutes but never got through. I emailed Tyre Shopper at the email provided with no response other than an automated one saying they would be in touch. I went elsewhere and bought two new tyres as I needed them fitted immediately. I eventually got a call from them three days later and a refund was issued. The guy at National Tyres said they made no money from these Tyre Shopper sales and they weren’t the slightest bit bothered if I cancelled. Don’t even bother going on their web site. I can recommend another two firms that won’t let you down.

They cancelled order on day of fitting, had to reschedule for 2 days later. On a positive fair pricing and free mobile fitting.

UPDATE - order ref 7821893 refunded, order ref 7827655 still awaiting refund . Amazing how you are very quick to respond to a negative review, yet I have still had no response to the two remails I sent !.

Placed an order which was cancelled after several days saying they can't supply the tyres. Placed another order for a different brand, waited another 5 days and then sent me an email to say they can't supply those either ! Shocking service. I've had one refund, but still waiting for the last order to be refunded. Why sell & take payment for tyres you clearly cannot supply and waste weeks of my time. They do not respond to emails, live chat is unavailable and the 0800 number puts you through to someone who can't deal with refunds ! Totally awful service.

Bought a set of winter tyres (Michelin Pilot Alpin 5) on 18th of Nov 2023, order confirmed, paid in full and fitting was arranged for this weekend. Called them last Saturday to double check, to make sure there are no surprises and they have ordered the tyres. They promised to check with Michelin on Monday and get back to me if there are any hiccups. No emails, no calls, no communications from them until late morning yesterday (Friday before fitting) saying “the tyres you have ordered are currently unavailable” and “your order has been cancelled” leaving me hanging.

I can see the tyres are available and in stock on autodoc.co.uk, 123tyres.co.uk, tyres.net, tyres-outlet.co.uk, tyres-guru.co.uk. And Camskill. So it seems everyone has it in stock except tyre-shopper.co.uk which is an online shop where fitting is done by National Tyres & Autocare and who are both ultimately owned by Halfords.

Please don’t ever use this company I ordered 4 auto green tyres and they were out of stock so they sent replacement tyres and fitted them but the replacement tyres were for an suv and not a Vw golf so the fitter rang his office to ask if he should fit them as it was a car not an suv they told him he should so then I drive to work and back it feels like I’m driving on a rumble strip the whole time and then two tyres both lost air pressure I’ve contacted tyre shopper and they keep fobbing me off to a complaint email instead of just putting the right tyres on even after putting my life at risk they don’t want to help. My order number was 7789872.
I thought u said you would get back to me directly not just ignore this aswell just proving what an unreliable untrustworthy company you are.
This is now a 3rd edit to this review I’m almost 2 weeks in every time I phone them they put me on hold for 45 mins then answer then put me back on hold and then put the phone down on me.think it’s time to get the lawyers involved.

Cancelled first appointment the day before resulting in days lost pay then turned up following day but didn't have right tools to complete job resulting in another day's lost pay I've now requested a refund shocking service will never use again

I cheated from this app ,I bought two tyre auto green they delivered different company one tyre also,I call customer service they disconnected my phone .The fitting centre also not responding if anything asking they tell "I don't know". very bad behaviour.Then after last one guy from customer care they told to come on Monday (today) and book my appointment.11 45 I went there they fix second tyre and I need to pay extra 96 £ ,before I bought two tyre 138£ now I pay 96 £.i lost two days and extra 96 £.Thank u tyre shopper for listing my money and time

I am really disappointed 3 booked times and they never shows up they didn't iven give me a callback!!
The office all time they said to me they gonna come 100% and is like i have to deal with scammers i hope that i gonna be refunded. Really don't iven give chance to dealing with them.
