Very easy to find my required tyre and arrange fitment

Tyre didn't turn up at the fitter. Called etyres on their so called 'customer service' line and nobody answered. Tried to cancel on their 0800 'cancellation line' and it was answered by an AI Bot that couldn't even recognise my name even after multiple attempts. Absolutely useless. Do not use them...go direct to your local tyre fitter and save yourself a lot of pain!

I have recently bought 4 Goodyear Vector all season tyres from etyres. They are a very well priced company and purchase was simple, fitting at a local tyre fitters was straighforward with a good job done. The only issue is that etyres offer tyre insurance which is very well priced BUT...... beware you must have all 'dot' info for tyre and a photograph. If you are buying specific rotation tyres this info must be taken before fitting as the data is only on one side of the tyre; etyres were particularly unhelpful in this regard ( I phoned them twice on this matter) and I even went to the tyre fitters twice to get data (not realising I needed photos as well, as written data) - do they not believe something that is written down on an application?

I booked an appointment for tyres but when I went the garage said the hadn't been contacted so I wasted an afternoon and had to go back the next day.

I booked four new tyres through eTyres, including a wheel alignment at F1 Autocentres in Farnborough. Unfortunately, the garage was unable to carry out the alignment due to unavailable equipment. Despite several attempts, the issue remained unresolved, and I eventually had to get the work done elsewhere.

I requested a £90 refund from eTyres but received no response. I eventually recovered my money through a PayPal dispute.

While I am pleased to have received my refund, it is disappointing that eTyres never responded and I had to involve PayPal to resolve such a straightforward matter.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend eTyres.

19-October update: Thank you for your response. However, I will not waste any more of my time emailing the eTyres customer service team, as they have failed to respond to my last message requesting a refund. Their lack of communication is unacceptable and demonstrates a complete disregard for their customers.

Service from etyres works but with a little long advance booking times.

Good Tyres at a good price

Ordered two tyres on Wednesday, went to Gates Tyres Carlisle the Thursday afternoon and had them fitted at the time I had selected. All okay.

I have used Etyres many times over the years. I like the selection of tyres they offer, options as to mobile fitting or garage and competitive pricing.

I used Auto Crafter as the fitter on this occasion. He was very good.

Screwed me not once but twice. Bought the tyre protection insurance; did not know I had 14 days. Made a complaint because I am dyslexic and did not spot this. You get no refund if you miss the 14-day deadline, so it's a nice way to get £43.96 for doing nothing.

They saw my complaint and said that, as a gesture of goodwill, they would honour our purchase; I gave them the info they asked for and then nothing. The person who emailed me has ghosted me ever since.

I took down my original review because they were going to set it up; they haven't, so here is a new review.

Very low thread, about 5.5mm ( even garage fitters were surprised). Nowhere near the claimed tread depth of 7.4 mm.

Etyres were contacted immediately and the order cancelled. I was told then it was going to be investigated..... noone ever contacted me. I did receive my refund, but nothing else for my wasted time...

Ordered tyres on the 28th Sept for fitting on 30th Sept and I’m still waiting for them. No communication from etyres, I contacted them 5 days ago and I’ve had no update since. First and last time using etyres unfortunately.

Customer service at etyres is awful! not helpful and rude on the call when I couldn't get into my account to complete the verification of tyre protection within the 14 days! Do not bother with the tyre protection. Avoid etyres!!

Adrian was amazing from the very first point of contact. We were expecting to have to wait until Saturday, which was going to seriously affect work for us, but Adrian called on Friday morning and was with us within 40 minutes!

He not only fixed the wheel but also put the sensor and wheel arch back into place. Having hit an old hook sticking out from the gate post, he even took the time to knock the hook flat so it wouldn’t cause another problem.

Adrian really went above and beyond. He is an absolute credit to eTyres and definitely a ten-star employee. The service we received from him would make us use eTyres again without hesitation.
