We looked online for some engineered…
We looked online for some engineered wood flooring and found one we liked on the website. I noticed that there was direction to call the sales centre for orders over 75m2 for project pricing. I was a little dubious, and often can’t be bothered to make calls, however on the occasion I did. Spoke to a lovely lady called Penny Williams who didn’t mess around, no sales speech or pushiness. Just straight to the point, took full details and within 2 minutes, had beaten the online sale price by £150. Top services and well worth the call. From deciding which flooring we wanted, to making the payment was done within 10 minutes and £150 cheaper than online.
Would definitely recommend.

Received free samples so glad I ordered those, I won't be buying this product the top wood effect is so thin on what looks pulp backing isn't for us I was hoping for a better quality product ,they look nice and I can imagine once down it would look lovely but, once dropped knife ,screw driver anything sharp you'll have a unsightly mark or chip ,you can't sand it there is literally. 5mm of wood effect on top clips together easily but again just not the living space, I was considering it for .

Looks like their poor business skills and trust pilot saved me.
I ordered some samples which arrived quickly. That's where the one star was earned. I made a choice, put it in my basket, then before pressing buy I contacted them to see if the delivered to Northern Ireland. Chat bot, no reply. Email, no reply. Facebook page, no reply. Telephone, not answered. It rang and rang and rang. Then looked on trustpilot. Thank goodness I did. I emptied my basket so quickly. So they failed even before the sale went through. I ended up buying a nice lvt floor locally.

Home Choice 3 strip Engineered Oak Flooring
I purchased 30m^2 of Home Choice Engineered European Nature Oak Flooring 14mm x 207mm 3 Strip Lacquered wood flooring from UK Flooring Direct. The order was dumped in the road behind our house with no notification that the delivery had taken place.
The flooring was advertised as click-lock and “simple to lay”. On opening the first packet, I found that only the long edges of the boards were click-lock, meaning that I had to assemble full board runs using a pull-bar, then very carefully offer up the long edges of 2-3 boards at once into the click joint of the previous row. This made laying the floor a two-person job and not in the least bit “simple to lay”.
The floor looks great now that it is installed, but one 14m^2 room took two people (one of whom is a professional multi-skilled tradesman) 5 hours to install, and I still have another room to do.
