This company are predators
This company are predators . Even though I put my reg in the tablet at the gym they sent me a fine. The gym confirmed that CCTV shows me putting in my code. I appealed the fine based on cctv and that I had put my reg in. I finally received a letter confirming the fine was cancelled but they claimed I hadn’t - I’d took a picture of confirmation.
The charity shop and coffee shop next to the gym where I attend - the tablet didn’t register for a week and every patron received a fine!!!! All their fault.
A despicable company who prey on motorists.
Poor signage and unfair parking fine
I will pay this parking fine to avoid the hassle. It would be fair to perhaps consider putting up a few more signs making it clear that parking on the roadway (when cars can still pass two way) is not allowed. However, I am sure it is not in your best interest to erect more signs in order to reap the benefits of more fines.
⭐ 1-star
⭐ 1-star
I am giving one star because there is no option to give zero. In my experience, this company does not seem to care about the public or the circumstances of individual people. It feels like the main priority is making money rather than treating people fairly. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this company.
Incompetent
Incompetent
Untrustworthy
Do not believe what they say.
Totally unprofessional and absurd.
Totally unprofessional and absurd.
Their warden operate maliciously like criminals , no uniform , no hi visibility vest. They just carry a camera taking vehicle pictures on the run totally ignoring the driver loading/unloading.Their wardens have no professional manners to come close to look if any vulnerable person is getting on or off the vehicle rather they need to reason to fetch information from the DVSA.
Sad and unfortunate such a company have access to driver’s and vehicle sensitive information which they sell to scammers for few pounds.
Dreadful business that needs regulation
This company needs to be regulated as it operates without any sense of fairness or attempt to resolve issues in a sensible manner.
My elderly mother recently had a parking ticket for spending 10 mins above the 3 hour limit at a local shopping centre. Fair enough. She proceeded to make payment by cheque - only to receive a letter from UKPC saying that they do not accept cheques and that she would need to find another way to pay...or face a further increase in the fine. Hence, I immediately settled the fine by card, using the UKPC website.
And guess what happened next? Yes, they cashed her cheque! Try as I might to get a refund of the overage paid, UKPC refuse to do this unless they get a 3rd party instruction from my mother. I've pointed out twice in writing that the fine has been double paid - and that they can either refund my mother - or me. If they refund me, why do they need any contact with my mother?
Furthermore, their complaints process seems to take the full month or so stated to respond. They recently claimed one of my emails had gone into Spam.
They are dreadful to deal with and need to be held accountable for this. If I could give a zero rating I would.
The Wulfrun Shopping Centre, Garrick Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3HH
Wulfrun Shopping Centre, Garrick Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3HH (where I have parked and paid onsite for many years) the ANPR is not picking up my vehicle registration plate for the pay machine (but easily picking it up on entry and exit for the PCN). If you do not make a mental note of your arrival time (who does this?) and enter an incorrect time you will get a £60 penalty notice and your appeal that the system/machine was not working correctly will be denied, even if you show proof of payment.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. No communication, appeal system so pathetic. I parked for 3 minutes and there were signs showing free parking. I sent pictures as evidence for my appeal. There was no communication. I only received letters dated different dates but arrived at the same time. They fake everything. I feel robbed one day God is going to deal with such dubious behaviour.
I can safely say they are useless
I can safely say they are useless. I received two PCN within a week of each other .I HAVE BEEN USING THE CHARITY SHOP AND ON MOST OCCASIONS DELIVERING ITEMS TO HELP THE COMMUNITY.I am registered disabled and was unaware in the change of parking regulations ,even the shop didnt tell me. I received two PCN both showing me driving in and out but not where i was parked. i have asked for proof but to no avail. All i have received since is a snotty letter from ZZPS a debt collection agency ADDING ON ANOTHER £70. This company is an embarrassment to the working ethic of people they should be the ones to be chased down and taken to court DISGRACEFUL
Parasite company
I'm not against a company getting help to stop people taking advantage of their on-site parking. It's good to help companies out and allow others to get use of a parking space. However. To fine a paying customer who consciously bought more food and drink than needed whilst using the fast food restaurant is just low. The fine came on my second paying visit of the day, not in my home town and apparently after "carefully consider" a paying customer is eligible for a £50 fine. Honestly so disappointing that non paying customers will no doubt stay in the car park for 99% of the allocated stay, but to be a paying customer and stay over the time limit and you get a fine. Parasite company is an understatement.
A fraud company
A fraud company unfortunately protected by the government. They steal our money by making outrageous rules to park cars in areas they own, and fines are outrageously expensive. They steal millions of pounds annually from UK residents and get away with it.
Template rejections, loyal customers mean nothing
They don't actually review appeals - you just get a copy-paste template response no matter what you write or what evidence you provide. Being a regular, paying customer counts for absolutely nothing with them.
I paid for parking at the McDonald's this charge relates to, and overstayed by 15 minutes. I even tried contacting McDonald's directly to see if they could help, and was told they have no way of influencing UKPC's decisions at all - despite this company operating on their land, under their name.
Which raises the obvious question: why would McDonald's keep using a "parking management" company that actively drives away paying customers? This branch has lost me as a customer permanently. I won't be going back.
If you're struggling with the internet to make an order - be warned. A few minutes over and you'll get hit with a £100 charge, zero flexibility, zero common sense, and an "appeals" process that exists purely for show.
Hospital Cowboys
Parked in the hospital to visit my dying mother, parked outside the bays, along with many others, as they were full. I got a ticket , none of the other cars did that were not in bays but none were obstructing access. I appealed the ticket but got no reply. Some weeks later got a letter from collection agents demanding payment. Emailed UK parking 3 more times but no reply. They are fraudsters and thieves and should not be allowed to treat people like this. All the one star reviews should alert the authorities who govern, or not, these types of cowboys. One more, if you go on Goole earth and look at the same car park, many cars are parked outside of the bays!
Absolute fraudsters
Absolute fraudsters - threatening drivers with ccjs through the civic national Buisness centre! In these difficult times just making life even worse! Something needs to be done to bring this fraudulent company to justice!
Want to give 5 star to gillian for…
Want to give 5 star to gillian for helping me with my fine very nice of her to do
Still annoyed about the pcn but it was my fault so can’t blame anyone
Thanks gillian!
Scam artists!
Bunch of unreasonable scam artists!
They sent me an initial notice and then followed up with a final warning within four days!
This is despite me showing them evidence that I was a genuine customer!
I am now looking at taking this sham of a company to court for harassment!
Ukpc should be banned
They should be banned legally as they are sending false pcn tickets and customer service is so rude not willing to help at all
I live in Auden place in Camden and there inspector visited the car park but not putting tickets on the car infect sending it in the post making people suffer
Awful experience
I confirm the awful experiences I have read from other reviewers. They manage a car park in Epsom: my 2-years old son was vomiting, so I noticed the car park and turned, but the car park was full, so I didn't even dare to enter. There was a narrow roadway leading to the car park, with "no parking on roadway" signs and double yellow lines. According to the Highway Code it would be perfectly legitimate to stop to drop off a sick child with his mother, but I fully understand that the Highway Code does not apply to private roads and car parks. I received a parking charge notice stating that I was "parked on a roadway" for 3 minutes and 33 seconds. I was even at the dead end of the roadway, where I wouldn't obstruct anyone. I submitted an appeal asking to properly review the full footage, as my stay could not be considered "parking", but only briefly stopping, as I was actively unloading the buggy and seating my son on it. However, they replied in a matter of days simply saying that they had reviewed their evidence and it was confirmed that I was parked on a roadway, without providing any further explanation.
This is not true; they either ignore the definition of "parking", or they are deliberately lying to take my money. Either way, their licence to operate should be revoked.
dispicable company !
Visited Mcdonalds, used their free car park, parked slightly over the white line at the end of the row of bays as a car was near mine. Didn't want mine damaged, and then get a £60 fine through the post for breaching their rules by being slightly over the line. I was over the line but not in to another bay, not impeding or obstructing anyone. But UKPC want their money, gustapo type company, absolute disgrace, they operate on behalf of the shop owners, which i will never be using again at that location, so what have you achieved? Mcdonalds and UKPC contacted, both advice pay the fine....you are everything that gets parking compaines a bad name.
WARNING ⚠️ Carparks managed absolutely…
WARNING ⚠️ Carparks managed absolutely disgracefully. One of my tyres was on the white line (not over it I might add - as the signage states!) and next to a walkway, as I had a car with children next too me, and they needed the space. Appealed the predatory fine, UKPC are completely unscrupulous. Website is insecure and blocked by security protocols. Funny how it also wouldn't recognise my number to submit an appeal, but would accept it if I was willing to pay. Absurd and illegal. Agreed to pay by post and they are currently denying they've received it at the address given!!! I won't be shopping in stores who trust these horrible leeches with management of parking again. Disgusting, unfair and so so unnecessary! Nasty taste in mouth after dealing with these crooks.
