Took over two weeks to arrive

Our Gorenje fridge freezer has 3 shelves, each a different size. I really struggled trying to match the one that's handle broke recently. Went on UK Whitegoods and they made that process easy for me by identifying the product/serial number on the defective item to match it against their catalogue. Ordered the item and it arrived around 3 weeks later - a perfect match for the one that was damaged. You have to get the serials and product numbers spot on. I was half expecting it not to be a match but it was an identical new replacement. Will use again!

I am incredibly impressed by the service I've received from UK Whitegoods. I was unsure what part to order for my oven, so I emailed them Tuesday night, got a response first thing on Wednesday with a link to the correct part, ordered it there and then, and received the part just over 24 hours later this morning (Thursday). Free delivery as well! Outstanding service and will definitely be using them again. Thank you.

I specifically checked that my freezer matched the compatible models given in the description for a part. After waiting 2 weeks, a part arrived that didnt fit, looking different to the photo and clearly not made for my model listed as compatible on the website.

Bought a fridge freezer from ao.com was mis sold as it wouldn’t work in my garage as it got too cold , ao is replacing it a no extra cost , lovely service , so kind l would recommend them to all

Needed a switch/pcb for a 12 year old Elica Island extractor. Official UK Elica site were not interested in helping to source or even identify the part but Kenneth from UK Whitegoods played a blinder. Very good communications, he quickly identified the newer replacement part, sourced one from Italy and had it sent out today.
Installation wasn't particularly easy but I've got it fitted and extractor is up and running. A new equivalent hood is well over £1k so to say I'm chuffed is an understatement.

I have been looking for a part and they were incredibly helpful. Because of Covid-19 lockdown and Brexit, they couldn't provide a likely date for delivery. Nevertheless, they provided me all the information they had. I am impressed with their service and fully recommend them to you.

Wouldn’t recommend for those who is expecting a fast service as it took them 13 days to dispatch an item, while delivery time says 2-7 days. Even if seller don’t have a part in stock i think they should warn a buyer before they place an order that it’s NOT IN STOCK and it’s gonna take longer than usual, but they don’t bother to do that.

A bit worried by some reviews about late deliveries but pleased to report my Cooker element arrived 2 weeks after ordering and is working perfectly. Recommended.

Excellent service on two recent purchases: rapid, helpful and knowledgeable responses to questions (thanks again Kenneth), best price I could find, quick, reasonably priced delivery, genuine high quality components. I will always buy spares from this company!

Beware:

Very slow delivery. Ordered a washing machine seal on 20/12/2020 and as of today 19/01/21 still not received item. I understand the postage situation given COVID. However, I have received items ordered (second class mail) well after I placed my order with ukwhitegoods and have received them. Email them and response being it shouldn’t be too much longer. Well, shouldn’t be too much longer in this case may mean I do not recieve item. Anyhow paid via PayPal guess I’ll take it up with them.

Disappointed to receive the wrong part for my Neff oven, only to discover that I had ordered incorrectly. Very prompt response to my emails to resolve the issue and full refund received once I had returned the incorrect part. Impressed by the service and have now ordered what I hope is the right part.
Would have been 5 star but my pride makes me put part of the blame for my error on difficulty of finding the right part no.

I ordered a part on behalf of my dad. When he received it the part did not work so I contacted and contacted them for a refund time and time again and I have been totally ignored.

This is awful customer service and I would not recommend this company to anyone and I certainly WILL NOT be using them EVER again.

How a someone can run a side business and treat their 'customers' like that is beyond me. I hope they don't give up their day jobs permanently to run proper company.

Ordered spare part for freezer basket just before new year. Received an out of stock notification and it would be delivered as soon as possible.

Tracked delivery of the right part was received 7th January. Prefect condition beautifully and carefully packed to prevent damage.

Sent by DPD - the best delivery firm.

Faultless & highly recommended.

Ordered a spare part for the fridge on 21 November 2020.

It arrived on 8th December 2020 - 2.5 weeks later! Item was damaged - had scratches.

Contacted customer services and was promised a replacement.

Replacement arrived today, 21 December 2020 - with a deep long scratch.

They made me wait 1 month to deliver faulty items! Shameless!

Would avoid using this unprofessional service that does not quality check the items prior to sending them!

Firstly. I don't write reviews. And the part I ordered would have been thrown in the box of spare switches and forgotten about.

However, UK whitegoods have sent me an email asking for a review. So here goes.

Website, ordering, delivery - Excellent

Customer service attitude - Poor

My reasoning behind this. Ordered a switch 'SW71' for a hoover which is listed as a compatible replacement for Hoover part : 28161143. Item came, packaged well, and in good time.

However it wasn't a suitable replacement as it didn't feature the two mounting holes in the front. The photos on the UK whitegoods website illustrates the two holes in the front. And that it is a suitable replacement for 28161143. I sent an email explaining and simply asking for advise on either return or replacement (as I do with many suppliers) as it is of no use to me.

All I received was an email back from D. Quinn. Saying that images and sizes are for illustration only. And that SW71 does not have the two holes. Not a mention of return or replacement.

As an electrical engineer, I find this quite a condescending reply. It's like ordering an ignition switch for a car, theres a picture of an ignition switch on the website, the part number matches, but when it arrives theres nowhere to put your key barrel.

Needless to say, I just dismissed the issue and ordered one from somewhere else.

I have no agenda or bad feelings against the company, they asked for a review, I'm giving my time and courtesy in writing one.

But to anyone looking to purchase replacement parts. Don't bother relying on the photos, illustrations or the compatible part numbers as they're pretty irrelevant.

Had an oven door hinge break and needed a replacement. Oven was 17 years old so not easy to sort. Contacted UK White Goods, who responded quickly with a request for photos of oven, and quickly identified the oven and recommended a suitable hinge. I ordered two as their price was easily the best in the market. Hinges came quickly and fitted perfectly. Outstanding service, friendly advice and help, and great prices.

Heat element was late for almost two weeks and when we contacted them thy did not tell us the truth. Thy try to say that delivery company we late but thy did not receive our parcel.

Well, my experience has been excellent, the part was correct, the delivery fine and free as I was in no hurry, happy to wait an extra couple of days. More importantly, the website enabled me to clearly/easily identify the correct part, unlike some other spares companies, it was a genuine manufacturer part but £10.00 cheaper! It was easy to fit and saved me over £75.00 in not having to call out an engineer to fix my Indesit oven that had failed after only 14 months use. My family were over the moon too because it meant a roast dinner was back on the menu! I would use this company again if necessary.
