I had a deeply disappointing experience…
I had a deeply disappointing experience with Venchi USA that I feel compelled to share. I attempted to place a time-sensitive birthday gift order through their website, only to encounter multiple issues:
* Website Malfunction: The site failed during checkout, yet my card was charged. The pricing calculations were incorrect, and the discount I was eligible for was not applied. Despite providing screenshots and detailed explanations, the issue was never acknowledged as a fault on their end.
* Poor Customer Support: I reached out multiple times--via email and their contact form--but received no timely response. When they finally replied, it was nearly 48 hours later, well past the window to resolve the issue in time. Their responses were dismissive and lacked any real effort to help. They mentioned that they were focusing on this of the several issues I faced, still their initial response came after 48 hours and all other responses took at least 3 hours for something which they agreed was time sensitive.
* Lack of Empathy: Despite clearly stating that this was a birthday gift and time-sensitive, the representative showed no urgency or compassion. There was no offer to expedite shipping, no apology for the inconvenience, and instead, I was asked to place another order and wait for a refund--without any guarantee or resolution.
* No Accountability: Venchi USA failed to take responsibility for the website glitch or the incorrect charge. Instead, they deflected blame and asked for more information that had already been provided.
This experience has left me frustrated and disappointed. I expected better from a brand like Venchi. I will not be ordering from them again and will be sharing this experience across platforms to ensure others are aware of the risks and double check the amount they are charged and also be aware that the order still might never get placed with no information or confirmation provided.

Yesterday afternoon I stopped by Venchi at Terminal 1 of Fiumicino Airport, and I was truly impressed by the service I received. The staff member who served me was extremely kind, professional, and cheerful such a rare and warm welcome in a hectic setting like an airport.
Despite the constant flow of passengers, she took the time to kindly advise me on which chocolate and gelato to choose, showing great attention to the customer. The product, as always at Venchi, was of the highest quality, but it was her positive attitude that really made the experience so enjoyable.
Congratulations to Giorgia and the team! A small moment of sweetness made even more special by impeccable service.

No memorable interaction with the staff and no idea who benefits if you decide to add the tip. Does it go to staff?

Rude thieving staff who do not care…
Rude thieving staff who do not care about the customer in the South Kensington store.
I asked if they accepted cash and the lady said they did then served me. I handed over £10 and then the man in the back started having an arguement with her saying they do not accept cash. He was rude and threatening towards her. I had to wait five minutes for my change which was all five and ten pence coins and I was shortchanged by a pound. I could not be bothered to argue but will never go there again which is a shame as the Ice Cream was nice.
Following my review and their response i emailed their customer compliants team who have since responded with an apology and that they will investigate this matter hence why my rating has increased to three stars.

Il nostro obiettivo è offrire sempre la massima qualità ai nostri clienti.
Non scendiamo mai a compromessi per quanto riguarda la scelta delle materie prime: ad esempio, per la produzione del nostro gelato, utilizziamo solo Nocciole IGP, unicamente provenienti dal Piemonte, latte fresco di alta qualità, Pistacchio di Bronte DOP. Non utilizziamo nessun aroma e nessun colorante.

Da bestimmte Venchi-Pralinen, die zu unseren Lieblingssorten gehören, schwer zu bekommen sind, haben wir sie bei Venchi in Italien bestellt.
Die Sendung kam durch die Schuld des Lieferdienstes UPS beschädigt an. Venchi bot sofort vollen Ersatz an. Auf dem Weg dahin gab es noch die eine oder andere Komplikation durch UPS, aber der Venchi Customer Care blieb durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend, und wir wurden letztendlich sehr zufriedenstellend entschädigt.

Ogni gita , portiamo i nostri bambini a mangiare il gelato da Venchi.a Bologna via degli orefici....ma sarà l'ultima volta in quanto a differenza degli altri anni abbiamo riscontrato
poca disponibilità del personale ...tranne un signore alla cassa...
Gelati piccolissimi con due miseri gusti di 3,80 ( gelato buonissimo comunque) in più noi maestre volevamo la panna , dopo aver
pagato 106 euro di gelati , ci hanno sollecitato a pagare un
supplemento di 0.70 centesimi...senza nessuna cordialità ma anche infastiditi.
Mi dispiace che un'azienda così famosa abbia avuto un calo quantitativo e relazionale.
Comunque non porteremo più nessuna scuola.

Il formato “Piccolo” ha un peso medio di 120g, in linea con l’offerta del mercato. Tutti i formati, i relativi prezzi e i supplementi (come quello per la panna) sono indicati chiaramente nel menù esposto in negozio. Ci impegniamo affinché queste informazioni siano sempre ben visibili e comprensibili e, grazie alla sua segnalazione, lavoreremo per migliorarle ulteriormente.
La qualità del nostro gelato è per noi una priorità: viene preparato fresco ogni giorno nei nostri laboratori, senza aromi, coloranti né emulsionanti. La sua consistenza più compatta rispetto ad altri gelati è frutto della ridotta presenza di aria, che ne esalta la cremosità e il gusto autentico.

Not the quite the full gelato
Massive variation between what was in the picture on the counter and the actual ice cream! Like no ice cream above the top of the cone. For £7.20 that is shocking! Ice cream was nice hence 2 stars but seller was rude and insisted on proving it was OK by weighing it. Clearly not the first time they had been challenged. Cone fell apart before finished too. Buyer beware
