I would not recommend purchasing from Ventura Living based on my experience.
The king bed base I received was disappointing from the start. The assembly was far more difficult than it should have been because almost every screw hole was misaligned. We had to repeatedly adjust and force the angles just to get the screws in. I’ve assembled plenty of flat-pack furniture over the years, and this was by far the most frustrating.
The bed base also had a strong chemical smell that gave me a headache, even after it was assembled.
What concerned me most was discovering that the product still had the original manufacturer’s sticker attached. After searching for the same item online, I found it being sold elsewhere for around $170–$200, whereas I paid approximately $440 through Ventura Living. Paying more than double for what appears to be a very low-quality product was extremely disappointing.
I also submitted a review on their website describing my experience. When I checked back several days later, my review was not visible. I can’t say why it wasn’t published, but it left me questioning whether negative reviews are being displayed, which makes me less confident in the reliability of the reviews shown on their website.
Overall, poor product quality, difficult assembly, an unpleasant chemical smell, and concerns about review transparency made this a very disappointing purchase.
