Viewber are extremely professional and…
Viewber are extremely professional and there should be no hesitation in using them despite some negative reviews. All Viewbers are vetted and given star ratings based on their performance, Viewber aim for the highest of standards and do lots to maintain a high standard. As a Viewber I am fully aware of my responsibilities and I am very conscientious of providing a 5* service on behalf of the client. I am sure that the majority of Viewber appointments go well however sometimes it’s the minority that post a review. Don’t hesitate to try Viewber for your property requirements and remember that the majority of Viewbers are doing an excellent job.
No key collection......avoid at all cost
Booked viewing at agreed time with details of property, key access etc. Given agent name and details. I directly contacted viewber with my contact details to check is any issues prior (but said I wasn't available at time of viewing due to different time zones but given emergency contact). Did not collect keys in advance and ignored all instructions of where to collect. I was only made aware following morning (time zone difference) with understandably angry messages from potential tenants who had travelled....some up to 5hrs to view property.
Disgusting and very unprofessional service. I am fuming with them and will never use this service again. I'm not sure the issue was with viewber individual themselves or with system and them not providing information to them. I saw several good reviews (and now seen bad too) and trusted this service. Waste of time and money. Makes landlord looks unprofessional to tenants

I have used as a client and as a Viewber and really can't fault this company. Always easy to get hold of, very professional and such a great service for people who can't do the viewings themselves.

A superb, cost efficient and professional service
At last, a service which gives me back the control of the management of our property, with the support of knowing I can easily arrange the right service option. Trying to do this through a management company has caused frustration in the past, as it was always in their time frame that our property was advertised and let. Viewber is perfect ! and we will be using them for our other properties that we are not able to travel to.

Don't touch with a bargepole!
Had this misfortune of engaging an agent who subcontracted their viewings to them.
On two occasions had individuals from Viewber turn up at our home with no notice and no instruction from the agent to view the property. Both viewers were dressed casually, their was no hint of professional appearance.
We felt like our home was being cased for a robbery.
Our agent, who we sacked there and then, still has not got the set of keys back from them. So distressing we changed our locks.
If you're selling your house don't use any company who uses their services or do viewings yourself.

Wish I'd contacted Viewber directly.
Had viewings with Viewber via Doorsteps.co.uk. Unfortunately I've not been able to pass on information to our viewer via Doorsteps, but thankfully had the number of the agent doing the viewing. She couldn't be more patient and helpful.
Would have been ideal if I could/would have gone to Viewber directly instead to be honest. Great service so far.

3.5 years ago this would have been a 5-star review. Unfortunately as they have grown, their ability to offer the standard of client support has dropped substantially and I frequently find myself in a pickle as a result. Slow (if any) response to E-mails, and telephone support is now only available for emergencies. I'm really disappointed as I was a huge supporter of these guys when they were still fairly new to the market.
I understand that demand for their services has skyrocketed in the last year or so but this is no excuse for dropping their client support standards.

First experience of using Viewber was a very good one! The viewber picked up the keys from the office and completed the viewing easily ensuring we could have a much needed day off. Also helps the viewer had an offer accepted a few days later! Will be using again.

Terrible organisition and communication
A representative from Viewber turned up at our property wanting to do five viewings in an hour, with no prior notice. Seemed very shocked when we informed him this couldn't happen. Have a feeling Viewber often work as sub-contractors for online lettings firms (e.g. Howsy). Have had terrible quality viewings done in the past where the agents knew virtually nothing of the property and ended up relying on us, the tenant, to conduct most viewings. Even when given notice this was often <24 hours and relied on our good faith. No notice of how they plan to conduct viewings with tenants with regards to COVID19 concerns.
Similar look through these reviews highlights a lot of 1star reviews for similar reasons.

A brilliant service that has helped…
A brilliant service that has helped enormously in helping us conduct viewings for properties in busy times and/or for homes a long way away from our offices. The quality of the people that have done the viewings has been exceptional and the system allows us to brief them really well up-front so that they are able to answer the obvious quastions, point out areas of potential, etc. We would highly recommend Viewber to any agents looking to outsource some/all of their viewings.

I have to say that I was sceptical…
I have to say that I was sceptical about this offering to start with as I was unsure as to the actual quality of the people actually conducting the viewing.
However, my fears were absolutely misplaced - I and my colleagues at Thomas Morris Sales & Lettings are VERY impressed with our experience of Viewber. We really see them as part of our team!

I worked for this company for a little…
I worked for this company for a little over a year, during this time a few problems arose.
1) The vetting process was very poor, no CRB checks on staff leave it vulnerable to abuse, some positions now ask you to pay for this but with no guarantee of work why would you?
2) The rates of pay were initially very good at £25 + mileage, these dropped to £18 and the mileage was scrapped, it wasn't much but it was something. This made it all well below minimum wage and not worth constantly monitoring emails as the jobs were snapped up if you didn't.
3) They always sat on the fence about whether you should have personal liability insurance, again, people wouldn't pay for this with no guarantee of work. The ones I knew didn't have it which begs the question what happens if things get damaged or go adrift.
4) Poorly organised appointments, keys not where the should be, no shows, wrong codes, then having to turn viewers away as you didn't have access.
Unsatisfactory overall.
Edit to response- Incorrect - No they were not all DBS checked at the time, I never had one at any stage and was never asked, the screening was nothing more than a remote video interview and not even with a real live person, a concern I raised. Why would people pay for a DBS when there is no guarantee of work??
This is exactly the issue with Viewber and when I thought about it I decided I couldnt be a part of something I would not be happy having in my own house for those very reasons. I have 30 years in law enforcement, as I state, this is something that could very easily be compromised by criminal elements and the "vetting" was extremely poor.

Proud to be part of a great company, a great team ...
I have been a Viewber consultant for over a year and carried out over 100 viewings, inspections and photographs for a variety of estate agents, auction houses and letting agencies. Being a Viewber consultant won’t suit everyone because, as the company clearly states up front, work is not guaranteed so you’re not going to get rich. Fees paid to Viewbers were reduced this year because the company is establishing the right business model. It’s a unique business, so there is no industry model to look back at and it is trying to manage the change process as fairly and professionally as possible. I am semi retired and I don’t do pubs or golf, so Viewber has many positives for people like me:
- Great management and responsive support team. Fun to deal with.
- Professional operational guidelines, which are a great support.
- Interesting job, meeting new people (both viewers and a range of agents).
- Learning more about the market with input from a wide diversity of clients and properties.
- Highly respected by the estate agent clients I have dealt with.
- Great IT system (my background) which ensures good and rapid communication with Viewbers and clients ... 24 x 7.
- Prompt payers.
- Complete flexibility of working hours and days
If you are thinking of using Viewber’s services as a client to cover viewings such as weekends, to allow your staff time off and/or more time to progress sales, there is no better solution. All the other Viewbers I have met are professional and reliable - as is the management team. The clients I have carried out work for rate Viewber’s service highly. The company is evolving but already fills a unique and important gap in the high street, hybrid and online estate agent business. I missed out in the crowdfunding round earlier this year, but I will invest in stock at the next opportunity! Viewber is going to do very well and I am proud to be part of the team.
