This was a very easy transaction. Convenient to pick up and drop off at my local VW dealership. Chelsea was very helpful throughout. The price was very competitive also. We hired a Tiguan to lug my sons junk off to university and this was a great choice.
Only minus being the interior of the car hadn’t been cleaned from the past user.

Would be 5 stars if they had a key drop option. Having to drop the car back during office hours is a shame given the proximity to bhx airport. Staff are welcoming and responsive. Pleasure to deal with.

Competitively priced car hire, friendly, efficient and fuss free service.
Bonus points to allow named driver to visit dealership to leave details before pick up since could not be there on the day, not many car hire companies make room for this.
Will definitely use again!

The lady servicing us in Solihull was polite, clear and informative. Service with a smile, wonderful. The vehicle was exactly as described with no alternatives. The car was very clean both inside and out. Returning could not be simpler. All at a very competitive price. Having had a very poor experience just a few weeks ago with a major car hire company who tried to offer a car different to that ordered I can honestly say I will be using VW again for any of my car hire needs. Would definitely recommend.

Chelsea handled the pick up and drop off of our VW Golf and was very helpful answering all our questions. The car was well presented and performed flawlessly driving all around UK. This has been the best car hire experience we have ever had and we can thoroughly recommend them. Beats all the big name car hire companies by a mile! Very convenient from Birmingham airport.

excellent and professional throughout the whole process even when we handed the car back, sadly.

Car rental as it should be! I was dreading renting a car for the annual family trip as it’s not normally a great experience but with VWFS this wasn’t the usual painful experience. Rented a Passat to take the kids to Cornwall and Chelsea and the team were excellent. Chelsea stayed late for me when I was caught in traffic (thank you!) and really took the time to make the entire experience positive and custom service focused despite this. Return was also really easy and smooth. Would highly recommend and much cheaper than Hertz, Enterprise etc. yet with an unparalleled level of service. Thank you Chelsea and VWFS 5 star service.

Great rental experience, Chelsea was helpful and was easy to get hold off when I wanted to extend the rental for a few days. Would recommend to everyone.

Constantly harassed on extending rental and threats from the off to invalidate insurance. Called explained they seemed happy then agreed to refund my deposit and when I returned the vehicle they emailed me thanked me for hiring and said they are keeping my £500 deposit because I returned the car a day late even though I agreed it with them.

DO NOT HIRE BECAUSE THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT AND LIE TO YOU!

Now I get a response and it isnt true. I am taking this further as I have the recordings that I was promised my refund and I am currently unemployed and am suffering financially due to this comanies behaviour.

I would urge you to shop around and find a reputable hire company to get a vehicle from as they simply DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

Easy to deal with, quick replies to email queries, simple pick up. No forcing of insurance and car is videoed as you pick it up.
Drop off no hassle.
Much cheaper than competitors and definitely cheaper than the airport 1/3 the cost.

Worse experience i have ever had at a car rental, Firstly upon collecting the car I was told of a "no smoking" policy which i didn't have a problem with. However as soon as I sat in the VW Tiguan Allspace, for the 2 weeks of the rental all i could smell was CANNABIS and CIGARETTE in addition to the car being extremely filthy and dirty. The smell of the cannabis and cigarette had made my little children constantly sick and had the smell had also ruined my clothes! Considering how we have gone through a pandemic i would expect atleast the car to be provided in a clean state.

When trying to raise a complaint about this VW rental simply ignored and the only response i got was that they have now place a ban on the previous user of the car prior to my rental.

Oh I also just about made it to a petrol station, the car literally had nothing in fuel!

Overall a very bad and awful experience considering i paid over £1k in rental cost and wouldn't expect the experience to be this bad from a big company! Never again!
