Just in Goldman’s fields Wetherspoons in London and they have changed menu what rubbish they have done away with all grills not happy can not even have a korma or any curry which is crap looks like we will have to look for some where else to eat I couldn’t have a mixed grill what I was looking forward to but couldn’t have

Had a breakfast at Hamilton Hall spoons, and saying it was bad, is an understatement. The egg was literally like a piece of rubber, the bacon was undercooked, the sausage was tough as old boots, and the beans were cold. Best thing about it was when they cleared the table. Absolutely shocking, and of course. When I complained, I was told it was freshly cooked….Joke…

What a shame we love wetherspoons but coombe Lodge was awful tonight. We like to order our drinks on the app and was waiting over 3/4 of an hour each time even then had to go up to the bar to collect them as they were sitting there on a tray.

Food was good and quicker than the drinks but the garlic bread never came out so we gave up on that.

They also have a rat problem there as we saw about 8 rats in the garden and out the front waiting for a cab, I think this must b sorted as it is a health problem.

I used to drink in local Wethersoons. In north London called the Rochester castle apart from being cheap. The service is just as bad staff that completey ignore you as you stand there waiting for your drink. Food which you could be waiting up half an hour for rude staff who don't give a crap about your complain utter useless

I played the fruit machines at the Falcon high wycombe. The machine did not have funds to give me my change.it owes me £15 the staff promised a call the next day. No call I chased them 3 times still not called me or refunded me. Apparently tge management do not return calls 🙄

Still no response.
Would like a response ASAP please .

What a dump went to the one in Clacton last night about 8.30 pm after walking our dog on the beach went to the weatherspoons and was told NO DOGS even though he is a service dog they still refused to let us stay
Do not know if the bloke was the manager but he was very rude and disrespectful point blank refused to let us stay never go there again

We ordered a lasagne for my wife and ham egg chips for myself the lasagne was heated up but still cold in the middle and warm around the edge. She had a salad but just dry leaves this was not a salad my chips were just warmed very disappointing the only positive was we had a refund after complaining the tables were not cleared and the young staff couldn't be really be bothered this was our first experience of wetherspoons it will be the last!!!

We are having breakfast at Wetherspoons in Basingstoke. The advertised opening time is 8am, but they were having some issue and opened just before 9am. I'm OK with that, things happen sometimes.
What's not acceptable though is the serving staff (2 ladies today) looking as though they're in foul moods and acting as though however their day started is the customer's fault.
The lady who took my order was barely polite and looked angry, and the lady who brought our food pretty much threw it at us ..... with a grumpy "enjoy" as she walked away.
I know, it's Wetherspoons not the Savoy hotel, and we're all here for a cheap brekky with refillable coffee's, but come on..... if you work in this sector and represent a national company, at least act as though you like people !

Used to be a loyal regular for the great-value steaks and mixed grills. Since they took steaks off the menu, I rarely bother going to a Spoons. The burgers are now small, weird-tasting, and overpriced. What a shame they ruined a winning recipe just for profit.

Awful customer serivce and food is even worse. Asked for them to clean the table and ended up doing it myself then I was brought dirty knifes and forks that looked like it was wipped with a snot rag... then theres the food, McDonanals would have been a better choice honestly it was god awful something I wouldn't feed my dog.
If you enjoy wasting money on something you could find in the garbage then go for it but I'd rather eat dirt than go back to here!

Poor/Average quality: Jacket Potato & Beans small portion of both, salad quite good - Vegan Pizza 11" dismal not enjoyable, veg items only about 2/3 of pizza should have been more, also only 1/3-1/2 of calories of other 11" pizzas yet still same cost: could use vegan 'cheese'/'sausage'. The Twelve Tellers, Preston.

Rochester weatherspoons just don’t! Food inedible unless you want to be on the toilet. Manager won’t give name and only partial refund. Money is not the issue, it’s the standard of food and the managers response…..dispicable. Get on a train to Maidstone’s society rooms all together different experience. Good , not the best I’ve ever had but more than edible, staff fare more welcoming and the manager is just simply great 😀

The Albany Palace in Trowbridge. Nice busy but relaxed atmosphere this morning. Table clean, no smears or sticky spots. Service prompt and friendly and a lovely, well cooked piping hot large breakfast with unlimited tea. All for £8.50. Well done.

With reference to Weatherspoons Customer Services regarding dispute.
"Visited Black Bear with Grandchildren on Friday 3/5/26. Ordered meal etc. Via app paid by debit card ending 6384 from online bank account. After waiting for confirmation of order none was received. Brought this to the attention of staff. The staff member checked and advised that the transaction (Order)did not process in their system. Checked my online banking account and the transaction (Order)was showing pending even although no transaction (Payment/Order)was registered via table order system, again brouht this to attention of staff who was shown a screenshot from my phone of the (INVISIBLE ORDER/PAYMENT) transaction via screenshot she noted that the payment was pending but the transaction (PAYMENT)would not get processed and taken from my account.Trusting in this a verbal order was then made at bar and paid by contactless using different card ending 9253 without any probs.0⁸ĺìÿ
This shows l have been charged twice for the same order which included the (INVISIBLE ORDER/PAYMENT Transaction made via table order system and Verbal order made at Bar which l have no issues with.
I contacted my bank for assistance advising them Weatherspoons had taken the (Invisible/Order Pending payment of £39.91.) and NO transaction was MADE ) Weatherspoon had not been given any BANK AUTHORISATION CODE OR ANY OTHER AUTHORISATION to Withdraw this from my Bank account.
Unable to contact Weatherspoon Black Bear Pub Restuarant direct, contacted via email their head office Customer Services to bring this to their attention and assistance.
Received a negative response ie. there must be an issue with my bank or maybe it was "RINGING FENCED" (HAVE NOT GOT A CLUE WHAT THAT REFERS TO)
Unhappy with this response l again contacted Weatherspoon Customer Services.
While waitng on a response from them.
I made direct contact with bank advising of the issue.After contact with advisors and DEBIT CARD DISPUTES section they registered issues giving it Ref.DI490483 Once the issue was registered my bank (Halifax) deposited the amount of the unauthorised payment into my account.
Advising if WEATHERSPOON disputed the UNAUTHORISED Transaction the repayment to the bank will be taken from my account.
(WEATHERSPOON HAVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2026 TO RESPOND)
While 0contacting my bank l received a response from jdweatherspoon cusomer services with another negative response.

Double cooked Fish. Not an isolated incident been going on for years. Illegal and dangerous. Ordered fish and chips in Wetherspoons in Tavistock. Same old trick batter thick as concrete to disguise the fact that it had previously been cooked. Should have complained on the spot normally would have but pushed for time. Other diners who were served the same rubbish didn’t. The other clue was fish grey inside . Wetherspoons can and often do serve nice fish in a very fine batter that is almost transparent. Having recovered from bowel cancer I have to be careful what I eat and double cooked fish plays hell with my digestive system. As I say have encountered this practice all over England in various Wetherspoons.

If I could give a 0 I would I have never experienced service so slow we were in The Postern Gate York. We have used Weatherspoon’s were ever we go and have always had great service ordered food at 17.55 came in 10 mins 18.40 and still waiting for the drinks food all finished asked at the bar and response was they will be with you. No apology!!!! I don’t normally leave reviews but feel I needed to. Poor service

Went to the newly taken over Coombe Lodge in Shirley Croydon.
Just want to say food and service was very good.pleased with all that.
Somebody does need to go around and dust the shelves, wood effects. Also chairs could do with a bit of a vax. It just needs a bit of TLC, it looks a bit tatty.
Outside hanging baskets were all but dead. Such a shame, it’s the little things that would elevate this place, especially as it’s only been taken over a few months ago.

Food arrived super fast and was hot. This was in weymouth. Staff were worked off their feet, but did a great job in serving us. Would definitely return. The price for what we paid and the amount we had, was well worth the money.

Me and other half just wanted some easy food and drink for our evening she had a chicken basket to un cover when eating the chips she had a NUT in her chips, upon questioning the manager to find it come from one of the fryer baskets fully admitted and took accountability was very professional all managed was quick to resolve the issue so no issues with that this is a warning
