I would highly advise steering clear!
I ordered a pair of Marco Bicego 18ct gold studs as a 70th birthday present for my mum at a cost of £841.50. At the time there was nothing to suggest that this item was not in stock. I immediately received an email advising that my order was being processed. And a message from shop to say that my order could be tracked. Initially I thought that this was excellent service and nothing less than I expected. After a few days however I had still not received any update - so decided to ring and ask for an order update. I spoke to a lovely girl who eventually told me that the manufacturers had ‘closed for the summer’!! This was news to me, however, was assured that the order would be with me by the time my mums birthday arrived on 13th September. Sadly no updates were forthcoming and my poor mums 70th birthday came and went with no present in sight - although they did very kindly send an A4 piece of paper with an image of said earrings and a promise that they were ‘on their way’
Move forward to 15th September (6 weeks after the order was placed) to be told that they were expecting a shipment that week and my order was expected to be in this shipment. I would have a delivery date by the end of that week - great, a bit late but we could deal with that. The end of the week came - and went. No earrings, no update and NO APOLOGY! By this point I was getting a little upset of the distinct lack of communication and appalling customer service. I then start to ring rather more regularly and speak with members of the online team - DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THESE PEOPLE. I was constantly talked over and generally made to feel like an idiot. I was told that I was more than welcome to ring for updates - but really there was no point as they probably wouldn’t have any information for me (until they were ready to contact me it would seem). Attempts to elicit a response by email were mostly fruitless - I think I received one email in the end. I received a call on 3rd November ‘guaranteeing’ that the earrings would be here for Xmas. Still hadn’t heard anything by 8th December so again started ringing for updates. Finally received a call on 13th December telling me that they were unable to fulfil my order and that they would process a refund. The money would be back in my account this week. Surprise surprise - no refund. I rang again asking where my money was - to be told that I had only cancelled my order two days ago……. No - I DID NOT CANCEL MY ORDER - YOU said you couldn’t fulfil the order - something very different!
They had now said that my refund would take up to 10 days - Absolutely abysmal service. Rude and unprofessional! I couldn’t recommend you less if I wanted to.
I really do hope all at W Hammond have a lovely Xmas and you get all the presents you have ordered and purchased. Sadly, my mum will most likely not be one of those people as you still have not processed the refund and I don’t have a spare £841.50 in my loose change! Thank you so much for ruining a very special and significant birthday for someone who deserved so much more than you delivered! Please don’t bother with any patronising platitudes - I’m really not interested. And I doubt that any of it will be ‘said’ with any degree of sincerity

I have been reimbursed - but not by W Hammond. Despite technically being out of time in relation to disputing the payment with the bank they have provided me with a full refund. Please note that my bank also felt it was highly suspicious that it had been left so long before being told that the order could not be fulfilled. It should also be noted that I have now purchased the identical earrings in Leeds (so my mum DOES now have her present) - and this is within hours of my refund - so, still no idea why, after almost 5 months they were not supplied by W Hammond Jewellers - just another thing to ponder I suppose

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. For over three months, I was repeatedly assured by customer service that my watch allocation was confirmed and that delivery was only a matter of time. When I raised concerns early on, I was dismissed and nearly ridiculed, being told to “be patient” because the watch is hand-made.
After all these confirmations, I then received an email stating that all allocations had already been distributed. This directly contradicts everything I was told multiple times. At best, this is a shocking lack of internal communication; at worst, it is outright misleading.
If you value transparency, accountability, and respectful customer service, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
