Customer service is just interested in selling you repair. At huge call out charge. Referred me from Pontius to Pilate... Took hours to get digital help and finally a referral to Claims Department.

Booking a repair with D&G
On line booking system refers you to book by phone. Phone line refers you on line. Online site doesn't exist!! You've lost your place in the queue so start again! Then…..2 week wait for an engineer?!

If i could have put 0 i would have. Booked a repair appointment for a Saturday which is the third appointment for the same repair. Whirlpool cancelled it on the day without informing me, no notification via enail text or call. Now i have to wait another 12 days before they come out.
I pay for a repair service on my washer dryer and don't expect to wait for repair when i booked one in.
You can't get through to anyone on the phone, you select speak to an advisor and it says goodbye and cuts you off.
Once i get this sorted i will be leaving my cover and going elsewhere as Whirlpool are rubbish and if they are the only ones to come out to repair, I'd rather go elsewhere.

The company could improve by sending an engineer that can make the repair. Had and still have a fault with a GAS Hob, engineer they sent was not gas trained despite me sending an email and having a conversation with a member of the booking team to restate it was a GAS hob. This is one of the hardest companies I have delt with in trying to make contact with. Their system needs to be looked at as to actually get a chance to speak to someone is hit and miss. Several time you get to the point where they say there is no one avail to make the booking. Absolutely pathetic.
Zero help
I telephoned Smartcare. Ages waiting to get through then cut off, tried chatbot, but after I spent ages typing all the information asked for, they terminated their end, no explanation. No resolution, I still have a broken washing machine, no contact with D&G Smartcare, and a massive pile of washing. We are disabled and on the vulnerability register and priority services register, but still they don't want to help me.

Could not cancel repair online, the button would not do anything. Live chat told me couldn’t find my account despite me using the same details I’d use to find the account online. Called the helpline, on the phone for 5 minutes pressing various options until I get to press 3 if you still need to speak to an agent. Did this and it said ‘thanks for calling whirlpool goodbye’ and cut me off!! Very frustrating and a waste of engineers time when he turns up and I don’t need him

Kyle engineer said is been to my property today I received a msg saying is been I wasn't in ive been waiting for repair over a wk I reported this issue with my washer I havnt moved of the sofa apart from toilet,also I've got an intercom to get into my building and that never went off.
£400 tumble dryer broken I 18 months
A tumble dryer bought for well over £400 just 18 months ago is broken. There's no help available to diagnose or resolve the fault, all they want to do is book an expensive engineers visit or sell an even more expensive warranty "deal" I really don't know how they get away with selling junk like they do

We are trying to speak to a person as my mother in law doesn't have a email account and we can't get to speak to anyone, we have even emailed using someone else's account and they haven't had a respnce.
Kundeservice er en joke for Whirlpool
Vores seneste anmeldelse af vores Whirlpool WVA35642NFWB fryseskab er 8 mdr. gammel og kan findes d. 13/7-23.
Nu er den dog gal igen og vores fryseskab er stået af for 5. gang og vil ikke fryse. Vi kontaktede derfor d. 20/3-24 Whirlpool endnu en gang, nu vil de dog ikke “reparere”, som de ellers har prøvet 4 gange før, da vores garanti nu “uheldigvis” er udløbet.
Det giver dog ingen mening for os, da man jo har reklamationsret på en reparation, hvis fejlen er den samme.
Det mente “kundeservice” medarbejderen dog ikke, så han ville anbefale, at vi selv kontaktede en tekniker og fik dem til at kigge på fejlen en 5. gang.
Vi havde så d. 21/3-24 besøg af en tekniker, der dog ikke kunne gøre noget, da vi sidste gang fik den nyeste opdatering. Han havde dog et velmenende råd med fra Whirlpool, om at huske at lukke skufferne … Fryseskabet hyler, hvis de ikke er lukket!!!
Det nye besøg skulle egentlig have kostet os 1.000 kr., men teknikeren kontaktede efterfølgende Whirlpool, så vi ikke skal betale de 1.000 kr., da han ikke fandt det rimeligt, når han ikke kunne gøre noget. Endnu engang har vi dog måtte smide frostvarer ud.
Som vi skrev ved sidste anmeldelse, så kan vi kun anbefale alle at holde sig væk fra dette useriøse firma!!

Incredibly bad customer service!
This company can improve its service by not terminating the chat before the issue was resolved. I think it was incredibly rude to disconnect the call in the middle of a so called chat. This is very very bad customer service !!!!!!!!!!

Terrible experience using the chat service. I had to repeat a lot of information, the advisor was quite short and not particularly friendly. She was asking for my contact details which I was providing, name, address, email etc. I hadn’t yet provided my mobile number so she had prompted ‘what is the mobile number?’ I hadn’t responded immediately and she closed the chat after 2 minutes. I’d already been on for 10 mins at this point. Incredibly frustrating and a total waste of time.
Horrendous customer services
Horrendous customer services, complete lack of awareness an disinterested in my issue. 9 days to have an engineer to attend to fix a washing machine which is less than six months old. Do not buy additional warranty products, they are not worth the paper they are written on.
