Charlotte from Ashford is really awesome the best person ever she seriously knows what she is doing is honest explains things doesnt push sales -She is really talented and works with the customer rather than invent something hairbrained ,even when the customer is !

I had a design appointment with Mykhailo for a client's new kitchen. He was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. The design and meeting went very well. I would highly recommend him if you are planning a new kitchen design.

Stuart Denver was my bathroom co-ordinator advisor. He listened advised and designed a wonderful bathroom from my vague ideas

Mikhailo came to do a home appointment. He was the most polite knowledgeable young man who had a great mannner. He explained every in detail and listened to my requests adding some really nice ideas to the design. I explained I have disabilities and he was most helpful with the products that would suit me.

I had Paul out to help with ideas for my kitchen I have had many people out from quite high-end kitchens with little to no help but Paul came in like a breath of fresh and was very inspirational I’m with many ideas, very pleased

I attended an appointment at WICKES ashford on Monday 12/1/26 and met with Charlotte to order a new kitchen. She had previously done a site visit to take the measurements and had been extremely helpful.
I cannot praise Charlotte enough. She was fantastic. I have rarely met a consultant who was so knowledgeable and professional in their job.
She was patient, thorough and listened carefully to all my requests and simply explained all the available options.
Charlotte made the whole process of planning and ordering a new kitchen so much easier.

We were fortunate to meet Charlotte who guided us through all the varieties of style, fittings and accessories. Then when we had decided she showed us what our installation would look like, and it does. She made the detailed order and it all arrived very efficiently. There are so many decisions to take ans Charlotte made it clear and simple.

After home appointment with Myhkailo I knew our kitchen is in good hands. He was honest, knew there is not much room but made a project that use every possible inch of the kitchen. He's young, determined and full of great ideas person, I'm so happy with his work. He was helpful even after we made an order. Delivery time is very reasonable, the kitchen will be delivered 5 days after ordering. Can't wait to have it installed!

We’ve had a couple of visits to Wicks Ashford. Once it’s been fitted. Our house will be amazing!! Thank you Paul. You’re awesome 🤩

Wickes is my main supplier of all materials and parts I need to run my business
The Ashford branch is the one I purchase from more than any other due to the area I work in and around Ashford
The staff are always very happy to help and easy to approach and talk to
Marcus who is normally on the tills is extremely knowledgeable with regard to were I can normally find what I'm looking for and we're it is in the store
Since the refurbishment of this store the layout is so much bigger and better
I will happily continue to use Wickes Ashford

I have been waiting for over 6 months now for a refund on an order on some items that were not deliverd. I have spoken to multiple customer customer support and said the redund would be issued. Now when I contact them they totally ignore all my emails. I have no option but to open a small claims against them. Very dissappointing service.
Update 26/11/2025: Wickes customer service got in touch with me after leaving review and have refunded outstanding amount.

The kitchen looks good and functions well. It was relatively straightforward to put together. The support from the local Wickes team was good (Michael - Ashford) throughout. I have a few end panels left over that I needed to return which they accepted without hassle.

Decided I needed to replace my 20 year old kitchen which was looking a bit tired (Nothing lasts these days).
Didn’t want pre assembled units so went to see Stuart at Wickes in Ashford, in July 2025. Good information and various suggestions for layout. Later received email of draft plans and layout of units.
Ben the contractor called on 22nd July for accurate survey and minor adjustments to layout. Also discussed additional work and start date for work.
Given a delivery date of 17th September for the kitchen units but this clashed with the date of the old kitchen removal. Contacted customer services and changed delivery date to the 11th with no problem and very helpful assistant. Delivery completed on 11th with friendly crew unloading 84 boxes.
Matt and team arrived nice and early on 17th September . Kitchen ripped out, followed the same day by the plumber changing pipework.
18th saw the arrival of the electricians who suggested minor layout alterations to cabling to make accessing switches easier.
The plasterer came on the 19th and worked hard.
Painter came on 20th but could only do a little as the plaster had not dried out completely.
Matt and team started fitting out on Monday 22nd. Worked hard almost none stop until the whole kitchen was completely fitted by the end of the week.
The electricians came again on 29th and 30th and finished wiring.
Painter finished off on the 6th October
Ben came on 8th October and checked installation was completed satisfactorily and signed off the work.
The finished kitchen looks good with all the new units and new worktop. Chose various greys for paintwork and units and they coordinate well

Overall I found the teams cheerful and helpful with some useful hints about placing various sockets. They were always on time and early to start. Nothing was too much trouble for them, cleaning up at the end of each day.
Customer Service centre phoned regularly to check if work was progressing and advised to call for any queries or problems.
I was kept up to date throughout with the sequence of when each tradesmen would come adhered to. Well recommended.
Have kept the curtains pulled as per Wickes’ advert but have not seen any cameras roll by to view the completed kitchen yet!

Charlotte Grimshaw at Wickes, Ashford gave us good advice about our new bathroom and we are very pleased with the finished result.

I had a very positive and helpful home meeting with Annabelle, who was able to answer all my questions and advise me to progress with my project. I look forward to meeting with her in store to the next stage of the process with confidence.

Awful bathroom designing experience from Stuart in Wickes Ashford.

No greeting when we walked in, after finding the section in store for designing, we were greeted with “guess that would be with me”.

Straight away took us over to the bathrooms and started talking about how much money bathrooms cost and how expensive it will be (all before introducing himself and qualifying what we are looking for)

Stuart then sat us down (no drink offered) and started going through a Catalogue while making notes on scrap sticky notes. No use of a computer and couldn’t leave his seat to show us in person what we would be looking at. I ended up walking round on my own to get reference.

Stuart then decided to keep going on about how “Easy Bathrooms” would suit us better and that he won’t price us for installation as it’s so much money. I carried on insisting that we want a quote for installation included however I was challenged multiple times…. He clearly doesn’t see the benefit or have the trust in your installation team.

I’ve worked in sales throughout my career, so to be told I’m better off looking at another company sounds crazy to me.

Our appointment had to be cut short of the allocated time as he had another appointment due in.

So after 1 hour 15 minutes, we left without any designs or any pricing…. Complete waste of of our time.

B&Q had designed, priced and printed our 3D image and quote within an hour….

We are in the market for a new bathroom and need this fitted within a short time scale…. So you are losing customers that are ready to purchase due to laziness and ignorance…

As for Stuart who clearly prejudged and decided we would not be able to afford one of his bathrooms….. we are lucky enough to have no budget….

If we even end up with a design and quote who knows… we will probably have a bathroom installed by then!

Paul didn’t show up to his appointment. He called less than 30 mins before he was meant to arrive at 2:30 and told us it wasn’t worth the visit. We’re going through Howdens now instead.

Through the companies charity process we were able to get supplies that will allow us to refurbish our premises a little to make life for our volunteers a bit better. Thank you so much

The Wickes customer experience process is absolutely shocking. Totally over promise, completely undeliver. You do NOT have a 'personal' contact. I have had 4 different named contacts and only ever spoken to one of them. Whenever I have had to call them I have just had the next available advisor. No different to any other call centre. I have had to chase them for numerous things such as sorting our the wrong items being delivered (50:50 doors for a 70:30 fridge freezer), damaged goods such as the tap with a huge chunk taken out of it, the return of items that don't fit because the advisor incorrectly measured the kitchen and over ordered cabinets to name a few. The kitchen fit was started on May 6th, it is still not signed off on 21st August. The call centre are now radio silent and don't respond to calls or e-mails. Do yourself a favour and avoid them. If there are no issues and everything is measured, delivered, fitted and serviceable then yes, you can give a 5 star review and say it was wonderful. If there is a problem, no matter how small, it will snowball because the process can't cope and you will end with a kitchen you despise because of the turmoil and hasdle it will have caused you.
