Wickes - Ashford Reviews 

Not very happy with Wicks at all ordered some treated timber along with postcrete had a text message to say its on its way between 07:00-11:00 am it turned up 8:45 thats was ok then the driver walked off I said “ where is my post mix!! “ he stuttered and said erm “ oh it might be coming by another carrier ??? I then telephoned Wicks and this was on the Thursday day of the delivery , I spoke to the Ashford branch and was told Oh the forklift broke down over the weekend, yet this was Thursday yet they took delivery orders on the Tuesday even though Ashford couldn't fulfil the delivery !! Knowing full well the forklift broke down over the weekend ! . Reading there terms and conditions it does say wait until its delivered before you get your trades people there ! However you don't expect half the delivery , once you have been sent a text saying its been delivered , and once checked it’s not all there !!! ! Just be very careful when ordering items its just a guideline time and store manager DAN had a just don't care less attitude!!!

As regards to your reply on here today , Yesterday, I got an email reply from Wicks Tony Curley customer relations that said “ sorry we failed on this occasion have £4 delivery charge back “ . so basically all the time waiting for the delivery, plus installers having to re attend , plus all the phone calls I'm still way out of pocket , like I say and you have just proved it Wicks couldn't care less!!

We have recently upgraded and restored two bathrooms using Wickes hardware or Wickes supplied branded items (e.g. Mira showers).

At our initial consultation both practical and design considerations were discussed with AW (our consultant from the store) and she produced designs accurately and on time. We were then able to tweak choices and practicalities with no sense of pressure and also timed our expected deliveries with our builder's schedule (we were not using the Wickes installation service).

In terms of sales care and attention to detail, AW was excellent and her aftercare was second to none as she was prompt and supportive in dealing with a couple of minor exchanges on items which were delivered un-pristine.

Great communications, customer experience and no hint of pushy or impatience from AW. Will see again!

When I have gone into the store to query something, they were super helpful.
The community project scheme has given a local primary the resources to help start a vegetable garden.
Fiona was amazing and all the staff always have smiles on their faces.

Charlotte Grimshaw the designer, came to measure up and really listened to my vision. Went over and beyond to accommodate everything. The plasterer and fitter Rick, were both professional and helpful and left everything spotlessly clean. I am absolutely delighted with their service. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend Charlotte and the company , Ashford based.

Fantastic store with good selection of stock, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Products are well laid out and easy to find, and stock levels are always good. I have the choice of a couple of branches of Wickes but this one is my choice every time. I’d like to particularly say thanks to Marcus who works at the Ashford branch - very knowledgeable, friendly and a real asset to the store!

Went into Ashford Wicks store to look at kitchens and was approached by a young man who showed us around and described/demonstrated the options available. Really helpful and informative

I recently visited this store to purchase supplies to repair my damaged fence. I have recently had hernia surgery and am unable to lift anything too heavy. I asked the young man at the till if anyone was available to help me and he arranged for his colleague to load my products onto a trolley and even took them to the car for me. I have been a regular in this store for some time and this level of care seems to be the norm. 10/10 customer service
