Wickes - Bedford Reviews 

We had a great first meeting with Billy. We had a few ideas about our plans for our new bathroom but Billy was great so enthusiastic about our ideas and also had good ideas to add he really understood what we were aiming for. We are very much looking forward to seeing what he puts together for us as a completed design.

I've been a Wickes customer for decades but over the past year, I've been involved in a few more projects, so I've had cause to shop at Wickes for all and any of my tools and other trade accessories and have noticed that the customer service at Wickes Bedford has really developed.
So much so that I was compelled to provide this review as I've had such great customer service from the staff that I've actually come to know, and they me.
If I'm stuck on anything, I know that staff like James Mac, the other two James, Kirsty, Sharea and Julie will always go out of their way to help me find exactly what I'm looking for.
They always go that extra mile which leaves me with such a positive experience that I feel I need to share it.
Well done all the Bedford Wickes staff, you're a credit to the company, so please keep up the great service.

Sarah was fantastic - very helpful and knew her stuff. Very detailed on what’s going to happen and what’s available and what will happen next. Looking forward to seeing what’s available.

Cheerful helpful staff helped me in store locating items and opening a sealed bulk pack of timber to break down into smaller quantity I needed. At checkout Dawn on the checkout desk was particularly cheerful and recognised me and greeted me warmly as a returning customer on my way in. She dealt with the queue politely and efficiently and it was a pleasure to be served.

The experience was amazing because of outstanding customer service by kirsty magda and lander on arrival lander answered questions on a query we had regarding the app he was so helpful then magda who was down the paint isle went to kindly find some paint we needed she checked the stock and then went to find some dulux paint we needed magda came back with some paint she had found in stock well done magda you were also so helpful and kirsty helped us with setting up the wickes app kirsty showed amazing patience and we would have been lost without her amazing help all done with a smile by all 3 members of staff nothing was to much trouble excellent team work by all 3 of these staff well done team we will be back .. 10 out 10 plus we ended up spending nearly £300.00 on some dulux paints but the customer service was one of the reasons we decided to spend money at wickes for for the paint keep up the excellent work you all made the experience of shopping at wickes so more easier and satisfactory

We're only in the early stages but booked a design appointment for our cloakroom with Billy Wood at Bedford. Billy was amazingly helpful, knowledgeable and honest and we're really happy with the choices and advice given

Thank you Dom & Kirsty for your assistance, I called ahead to check stock for 7 boards of 18mm OSB, Dom asked when I was going to collect I told him I was on the way, I arrived and the OSB was ready and waiting on trolley we paid and thanked the staff.

Great service from Zoe at Bedford store. Really helpful going out of her way to help me. Always use Wickes local and it encourages you to go back when you have such knowledgeable staff.

So we went into wickes with a very open mind in needing a new kitchen… and we got exactly what we were hoping for and more. Our design consultant Billy Wood went above and beyond to create our new kitchen and make it work for all of our needs. He saw us through everything, supported in as many ways as he possibly could and then some. Not only did he create something out of thin air (thanks to our wide scope) but he made it perfect.
The fitters through Wickes did an absolutely fantastic job, completing earlier than expected. Any problems we had the were easily approachable. When we were unsure on some of the work Billy popped by and liaised with the electrician and fitter to make everything ran smoothly. Honestly, we are so happy with the journey and the end product. Thank you so much!

Ella who served me on the till is very friendly and helpful. She has served me a couple of times now and gives excellent customer service!

Popped into branch to order some ply for a home DIY project. We were helped by James McG who was super helpful, knowledgeable and helped us order what we needed for delivery.

He made sure we didn't miss out on any in-store offers and was warm and friendly.

All the staff in Bedford wickes are so friendly and efficient we have been coming here for 8 years or more and it’s by far the best Wickes ever !!!!

Really helpful staff, especially Dawn who went well beyond the extra mile to help us - she is a great ambassador for Wickes. Other staff helped us carry heavy items from shelf to car, really pleasant visit.

One of your staff, James McGregor, gave clear, helpful and practical advice on a particular job and tools/materials. It worked and genuinely appreciate his advice

Most of the staff go the extra mile to help especially Robbie, always friendly, has a ready smile and will always do his best to help with whatever, then get to the checkout and there's smiley Julia. These people know what customer care is

We had a great experience choosing our Kitchen from Wickes Bedford, Melanie is very professional and has great knowledge when it comes to setting up the drawings, we cannot thank her enough for making this easy to follow.
