Then, assisted by one of her colleagues, she came to my rescue when I left some M12 threaded bars by accident in the trolley in the car park..

Popped in here recently and had a really good experience. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to, and they were happy to answer my questions without making me feel rushed. It’s nice to get genuine customer service these days. I’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this shop to other people.

We ordered a heavy load of slate from Wickes in Exeter. It was a really hot day but in the time that it was ordered Marcus, the Wickes employee, had loaded the whole lot by himself and it was ready for us to collect it.

I've used Wicks for many years, in store and online. I've always found the quality of materials good at a reasonably competitive price. Great service from Wickes, Exeter.
Review by Mr P Davies: Ordered fence paint online from Wickes, Exeter, today (07.07.26). Collected it later today and was served by 'Sophie', who couldn't have been more courteous and helpful. She not only offered to arrange for a male member of staff to carry the two heavy tins to my car; she also personally went to find the brush I required, which I had been unable to find myself.
