Wickes - Glasgow Reviews 

I purchased a kitchen in January and paid in full, we were told by the surveyor that fitting would probably be April. We were then told a different fitter was available for the 9th of March. All items were delivered and dumped in my lounge on the 6th of March at my inconvenience. We thought we can live with this as it is only for a few days. On the 9th of March (fitting day) the kitchen was emptied and at 7:50 we received a txt to say the fitter had an issue and could not attend and to contact the installation team. The installation team offered us a new fitting date for the end of April! We asked if someone from the team could come and start the job but were told that they usually work alone and just get trades in as needed! We asked if we could take the next slot and were told no. Now I have empathy for the fitters situation and understand that these things happen but Wickes should have a solution in place. I asked for a full refund and to come and lift the kitchen from my lounge ASAP. They eventually uplifted the items 10 days later!!! To say it has been a stressful experience is an understatement customer service is non existent. If this is the service prior to installation what will it be after?? I finally got a refund last week. Buyer Beware! Do not buy from Wickes!

Emma Twaddle arrived for a home visit to design our kitchen. Was quick efficient and honest about prices etc
Met with Emma a few days later to order our kitchen. Emma was polite well organised and designed everything the way we wanted while keeping the costs to a minimum for our budget. Emma gave good advice and also thought ahead of visit leaving no questions unanswered. So grateful to have someone so knowledgeable assisting us. Can’t wait to share with Emma the finished product.

I have felt confident to order a Wickes kitchen because of the professional expertise & friendliness of Emma. As I am an older person making a big financial decision , I can say that she has been very helpful from the initial home visit to my in-store viewing of your products. She has explained all the details of this kitchen design project & has been re-assuring & patient throughout my decision making from choosing appliances etc. to dealing with finance.
So far, because of Emma, I am confident that I have made the right choice & I look forward to the same when my lovely kitchen is installed by the fitters.

Daryn came along for my first kitchen visit. He text in advance and asked a few questions regarding if I had anything in mind timescales etc. He was easy to chat to and I felt perfectly relaxed to ask any questions and he would give me any pros and cons regarding my choices. I didn’t feel there was any pressure to ‘sell’ me the kitchen and I look forward now to the next appointment in store.

All the staff I have been involved with have been excellent. In particular Martin Shaw who did my kitchen design was very helpful. The main fitters were also excellent, Lomon Installations

delays in delivery, broken or missing parts, white goods not ordered then reordered and a fight to get the order completed, the five ring gas hob is dangerous if I had noticed before would not have bought, microwave needs a rocket scientist to heat your tea cup going on gumtree asap, NEVER AGAIN WICKES !!!

Mr Wiliamson introduced himself and took personal care and attention with planning , detail was amazing. everything arrived on time .... our installer was impressed . the outcome is we have a masterpiece of a kitchen .... thank you

Booked a home visit for a bathroom, then gets a text stating did I know it would cost £8/10000 for this and was I happy with this price, now they have not even seen the bathroom at this point 2x2 mtr so we get B&Q they do it correctly and quote just over £4K, it is obvious that Wickes can’t be bothered or maybe don’t need the business

This appointment allows me to get all measurements of the room and have a chat about what you’re looking for.

We don’t do the design process in your home- we would book a follow up in store appointment where we ask you to come and design your bathroom together in the store.

To help with costs, for wickes to fully install a new bathroom / en-suite, on average this costs somewhere around 8-10k. We offer interest free credit for this.

Excellent workmanship, nothing to fault. Salesperson was very attentive and kept in contact. Even came out on last day to make sure everything was as planned. Fitters prompt and friendly.

Made an appointment regarding a kitchen design with Daryn Williamson who really knows his stuff. I can’t thank Daryn enough for helping us with an awesome design for our kitchen.

Kitchen worktops delivered damaged. First available replacement 8 days after original delivery date. While the new delivery date was confirmed by both email and text, no delivery took place. Waited all day, but no notification about this. Next delivery date another 12 days later. Total delay 20 days. And yet, still not finished as Wickes didn't collect the damaged work tops. Customer service confirmed in writing that they will not collect the damaged goods, which is outright illegal under the consumer rights act.

Received excellent service by Kenny helped us find exactly what we wanted at a price we were delighted with. Nothing was too much trouble for him

We almost purchased a Wren kitchen when a few last minute hiccups caused us to look around. We approached several suppliers but decided on Wickes because none of the others provided the attention to detail, and expert advice that our kitchen design consultant, Martin, did.

He listened and advised and provided suggestions to make things work in a way we were happy with - even coming out to visit us to inspect the flow and layout of our kitchen. It truly was a bespoke experience that you would expect to find from a luxury bespoke kitchen supplier and none of the others provided a service anywhere close to this - thank you, Martin!

We are overjoyed with our new kitchen design and would still be going round in circles if it wasn't for the fabulous support!
