Wickes - Huntingdon Reviews 

We arranged for a home visit from the Huntingdon store and Billie came out to us. She was knowledgeable, friendly and really captured what we needed. We went to see Billie, saw her ideas on a picture and was amazed at what she could fit in such a small space. Truly amazing service from start to finish. We will be back for bathrooms and any other rooms that we are renovating and highly recommend to others!

Buying something like a bathroom can be daunting as there is so much to think about like how it will look ,or if the colour choice is good etc.
Sarah J made it easy to choose after coming to do a measure of our bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble and with good suggestions on what would fit and by producing an impression on how it would look allowed us to imagine what it would look like.
She is obviously someone who enjoys helping customers make their choices. She sets a good standard for the company and we hope that will be continued when completed.

Purchasing our new kitchen from Wicks Huntingdon was a very enjoyable experience, from walking into the showroom and being met by design consultant Sarah Jenkins right through to a beautifully fitted kitchen. Sarah was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We had no idea what we wanted and was ill prepared for the many choices and decisions we were required to make but Sarah talked us through the various designs, styles and colours available and was very patient when we kept changing our minds. The fitter Mark Forge was an experienced fitter who worked hard throughout the installation. He arrived every day at the agreed time and worked solidly all day and left us clean and tidy. Always going the extra mile to ensure the installation complimented the overall effect.
We are delighted with our new kitchen and would highly recommend Wicks in Huntindon and especially design consultant Sara Jenkins to anyone considering a new kitchen.
Family and friends have also been very impressed.

Never more than 1 person on the tills (kip is the only one on the tills bless him) first thing in the morning when us trade need to get our materials and get to our customers. Very slow indeed.

I was served by Tony yesterday. The previous customer he had to deal with spoke to him in such a rude manner for absolutely no reason and he was still very polite. When it came to him serving me I said he did very well to bite his tongue and he said he had no choice. Hats off to Tony, what a gent!

Wickes have proven to be very dodgy and very untrustworthy just to hang on to a total of 45p of my money. Wickes sponsor them selves on TopCashBack and Quidco cashback website. In July I made two purchases online via TopCashBack to earn the cashback. I never returned ether of these online purchases and Wickes decided to decline both small amounts of my total cashback total of 45p. One purchase I was entitled to get 14p cashback and the other purchase I was entitled to 31p cashback. What is the point of Wickes sponsoring themselves on these cashback websites when they then decline your cashback? This clearly proves they are very untrustworthy. 😡

Giving Wickes 5stars for a really great service from start to finish. Will at the Huntingdon branch helped us create our kitchen design and listened to our needs and actioned our change requests. He booked our installer who was able to attend during the half term break which helped us out immensely. Our fitter, Steve C was truly amazing and extremely talented at his work. He also listened to our requests and honestly I can’t give him enough praise. Turned up punctual every day and worked right through. A couple of missing items but these arrived promptly and did not hold anything up. We are extremely pleased with our new kitchen. Thank you Wickes, Will and Steve. Perfect!

I wish there was a rating less than 1 because frankly 1 is far too generous.
We paid for a bathroom and installation of said bathroom under the guise of expert fitters and guaranteed work. Shower and pump failed 6 months after installation. Notified Wickes on 8th July and 2.5 months later we are no closer to have repair or replacement!!!! Appalling customer service who refuse to escalate matter to complaints department until they resolve the issue?!
We are a family of six without our shower, we have paid a huge amount of money and are left with a bathroom not fit for purpose.
Clearly customer service, consumer rights, warranty and guarantees mean little to Wickes after you pay the bill! We have been to see the design team who were (to their credit) very helpful in selling the bathroom, but apparently are not allowed to speak to customer service. Our installation engineer also is powerless. We feel completely duped and desperate. We certainly don’t expect to have to take a big brand like Wickes to court just for them to honour our basic consumer protection.

Needed to replace a couple of plinth elements (after 7 years). Sarah’s advice, help and response to renewal and pricing (discount) was way beyond what I expected. The best customer conversation I’ve had for a very long time, if maybe ever! Super Well Done Sarah Jenkins and Wickes. Very satisfied customer ;)

Sarah Jenkins from Wickes has been very excellent in supporting our Bathroom project. She has very good knowledge and understands what customers exactly want.
We would definitely go to Wickes/Sarah for our future projects.

From start to finish we were so impressed with the Design and Installation of our lovely new Kitchen. Sarah, the Design Consultant at Huntingdon Wickes was excellent and spent many hours with us coming up with lots of ideas and different designs for our Kitchen. Our installer Greg was very hard working and did the most wonderful job installing our kitchen. As is normal it was not without problems but he just got stuck in!

Avoid at all costs, great advertising to hook you in, but in reality inexperienced fitters who couldn't care less. Terrible customer service and you will have absolutely no warranty as they will blame you the customer for any problems that occur.
Nothing more than organised con artists.
