The kitchen we had fitted by Wickes in Long Eaton was completed with perfection in every detail from start to finish young James Walker Gurley started by delivering and designing a wonderful kitchen for me and my late wife Shirley and the family know she would have been absolutely thrilled with the results we had decided on and Darren Hind the installation leader did his utmost to do not just a fantastic job but made sure my wife’s wishes where followed to the letter dispite serious electrical problems with the property which where eventually cleared up five star rating doesn’t seem enough it was excellent from start to end and the complete staff in branch are really good fun polite and very helpful and the kitchen build it’s self does give them a good start my Wickes conservatory is twenty five years old and still top dollar so I believe the kitchen will be as good 👌

I visited Wickes today in Long Eaton after buying a table lamp from Homesense, I wasn’t sure what bulb was needed as the details/make of the bulb on the lamp base were not correct, I asked a lady working in your store called Elaine for some help and she took me to the lighting aisle and helped me, as I only had a photo on my phone of the lamp she spent time looking at different bulb options with me, I took two types of different bulbs as we weren’t sure which was correct, I was told I could return the bulbs if they didn’t fit, I returned home tried the bulbs and one type fitted perfectly, I was then able to return the other pack without any issues.

We had our Bathroom designed by Neill Stevens, he was very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and answered all our questions. He fitted everything in that we asked for and made changes when requested. Very happy with our new bathroom

Bathroom Design Review
I had my bathroom designed by James Walker-Gurley at Wickes Long Eaton. He was very thorough and very patient as I discussed my plans and told him the features that were most important to me. He made really good use of the space that I have, and even worked out how to fit in the high-level cistern that I really wanted and had my heart set on. He was great, showing me the different options in the showroom and talking them through. I’m very happy to recommend the Long Eaton Wickes store and their design facilities.

Thanks to Neill at the Long Eaton store for designing our kitchen and helping to make the process as easy as possible! Love our new kitchen - looks great and enjoying using it!

Attitude of Longeaton site
Sent my daughter down to fetch some goods to use my discount card and they refused. I will no longer want to use this store again.

We purchased our kitchen units from Wickes Long Eaton and it was a great experience from start to finish. The design consultant James Walker-Gurley knew everything there was to know about the products and how to put it together. He also made us feel relaxed by being completely transparent and didn’t put us under any pressure at all. When the items were delivered one panel had a slight Nick in the side but I called James and he arranged a replacement in no time at all. Cost was competitive and quality of the units is really good would thoroughly recommend wickes to anyone after a good quality kitchen with premium customer service and aftercare.

We had found a fixing we needed for a project on the website, which indicated there was stock in the Long Eaton store, unfortunately after hunting high and low we couldn’t find it on the shelf, after asking Kirsty and giving her a description and details, she advised she did have new stock that had just come in and offered to check in the back for us, and we were all very pleased when she was able to locate it for us, Thanks Kirsty great Customer Service

I bought a toilet on 17/0624, delivery set (by Wickes) for 10days later amended, by them, to 02/07/24. It was delivered, outside time slot stated, on that date and found the cistern to be smashed by my fitters when package opened same day. I went to the Long Eaton store at 2pm that day to find a replacement, I was told by the manager that the only stock was at Chester and his solution was that I should reserve it online go to that store BUY IT and then seek a refund from the company for the smashed piece. I should also send the online form to Wickes customer service to seek their advice - I suggested he might do this for me and he said it was better if I contacted them as it would probably be a couple of days before they returned the call! I asked why Wickes couldn't get the item from Chester sent to me - the situation being all their fault - I was told I was being difficult and should leave the store. I don't know if it's the manager or Wickes in general but the mark of a decent company is how they deal with problems, anyone can smile behind a glossy advert and take your money. Be very wary of dealing with the Long Eaton branch at least is my advice. I have had to go elsewhere to get a toilet replacement.
6 days on - further info given to wickes as requested - nothing heard from them. I am convinced customer satisfaction is not part of this company philosophy and it is not just the Long Eaton store.

Have just had my dream kitchen fitted, designed by James Walker-Gurley at Long Eaton Wickes.
Excellent friendly service with good communication all the way through. James has been so helpful, never complaining about me changing my mind or when I've made last-minute alterations. Always happy to help would definitely recommend Wickes. So happy with my kitchen, so glad I used Wickes, who now have a new store just 5 mins away from me! Perfect 👌.
