Wickes - Northampton Riverside Reviews 

I was a bit annoyed after my first visit to the Northampton Riverside store.
I needed some arris rail & fencing, looked online & they had what I needed.
I only had a small window of opportunity & the store is less than 10 minutes away.
I turned up at the store only to find they had cordoned off the area to restock shelving with a forklift.
I appreciate this has to be done, but this was mid morning on a Saturday on a bank holiday weekend, probably one of their busiest times. I waited for around 20 minutes but as I was short on time I had to abandon.
Shouldn't shelf stacking with the forklift be sorted whilst the store is closed either the evening before or before opening in the morning?
Normally I do find Wickes to be OK, but this experience with a distinct lack of organisation did put me off.

I have been to the new Wicks at Riverside and have found the staff really helpful. Lewis helped me with sorting out getting paint that I needed and nothing was too much trouble. It makes a nice change to be able to go into a store and be greeted with pleasant helpful staff

I’d like to thank Tracy for going above and beyond what is expected. We had so many queries from paint choices to skirting board thickness and Tracy was able to answer all of our questions and we left the store with everything we needed.

Wanted to purchase insulation but I wasn’t familiar with the type of product i should purchase. Thankfully, Paul assisted me with great customer service and professionalism by clearly explaining what product would be good for the context of my problem helping me make the right decision. Furthermore, as someone who has a bit of a walking difficulty he went above and beyond by helping me load the items into my car allowing my time at wickes to be stress free from start to the finish. I was very impressed by the customer service at wickes and i will be shopping here again in the future.

This was great I rang ahead to check if they had the tap in stock and Charlie said that she would put it to one side as there was 1 in stock. I picked it up 20 minutes later with no effort at all. Magic thanks very much Charlie thanks for going the extra mile to ensure I got the tap I needed.

I needed heavy products.
Charlie the Cashier and Lewis surpassed themselves in assisting me .

When I arrived I needed to buy 4 things so not knowing your store( newly opened) I asked Lotte where an item was.
Most assistants normally offer a direction to walk in or aisle number but Lottie took me there and seeing I had a list took me straight to the other 3 products.
So great product range and an exemplary member of staff.

Tracie is very nice and friendly. I had a really wonderful experience today, Tracie not only served me very quick, but also helped me with setting up the account. I was in no time out of the store on my way to my DIY project.

New local store at Riverside Northampton very usefully placed.

Looking for a replacement kitchen and the with help and guidance of Cameron, Wickes’s in house design consultant, soon ended up with the package we wanted. Excellent professional service from Cam, very knowledgeable of the options available and produced a comprehensive specification quickly.

I had been sent to Wicks at Riverside Northampton by my husband to purchase some screws and brackets! I asked at the desk and Lottie came to help me, she was so kind and helpful, really chatty and made the whole shop experience a pleasant and easy one! Thank you! 🤩

Just had the most amazing service from ANNA. Helped me load a lot of wood in the van, helped me get the wood I required. An amazing employee WICKS riverside have. Great job 👏

It was an absolute pleasure to go to the newly opened Wickes on Riverside. The staff are extremely professional and friendly and it was amazing to get sound advice from staff. Ash was particularly helpful and without his help I would not have been able to complete my purchase; his assistance and advice was second to none. I will definitely be using this store again as everyone is so helpful.

Easy to make the appointment and kept informed. Tamsin was fantastic and we had a good conversation about likes dislikes, what I hoped to achieve with a new bathroom plan.
