Wickes - Nottingham Central Reviews

Bought top soil to layer my lawn after reseeding. Loads of broken glass shards and seashells. My lawn has now been ruined. What now WICKES!?!?!?!

I’ve done two click and collect orders in the last week at nottingham store 071. Service has been impeccable both times and today a lovely young black man who had finished his shift went out of his way to serve me and help me take my purchase to the car. Exceptional customer service thank you 😊

Dass made my experience of upgrading my kitchen very enjoyable. He explained everything clearly, was happy to answer all my questions and came out the next day to measure and get everything ordered. The grandkids liked him too thanks Dass

Popped into Wickes’ Nottingham Central and received excellent service from Duty Manager, Kristin, and Sales Assistant, Tracey. A real credit to Wickes. Both were extremely helpful when we enquired about a Wickes’ Trade Pro account and placing an order for delivery. Highly recommend! 👌🏻

Great experience with Clare and the team supporting our charity. Communication was great and the products have made a huge difference to the children. Thanks again.

Highly recommend customer service skills, nothing is too much trouble.

A fantastic team that has really helped out Community Recording Studio with a donation of paint for our local youth charity. Lovely people and a pleasure to be associated with.

Thank you from everyone at CRS!

Jake attended our home to provide us with a quotation for the installation of solar panels. Not knowing any real detail about the product our aim was to gain an understanding of the technology, and to save money on our energy bills. Jake was both personable and professional. He didn't tire of our many questions, and answered each of them proficiently.
The order was placed that day - Considering this as capital expenditure/investment for our home, our hope is that the installation/products and service will meet our expectations, allowing us to see a sizable reductions in our energy bills.

Had an issue with delivery and went to the store and GARY, what a legend, professional and efficient he straight away sorted it and got my items ready to be delivered on the same day . Thank you very much Gary

I do not typically post a review, however, on this occasion I felt it was needed. The professionalism, depth of knowledge and enthusiasm display by a local Wickes design Consultant, Dass Sohal, was exceptional. We would highly recommend visiting Wickes for either a bathroom redesign consultation, which is what we opted on this occasion, or for a kitchen refit without hesitation. Keep up the good work!

We went to buy a bathroom today. Our design consultant was Jake who was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and kind, and made the whole experience very easy. Many thanks!

We popped into Wicks on a Wednesday and spoke to a lovely gentleman called Jake, he spent lots of time with us and explained everything, when we left we felt happy, 2 hours later Jake was at our house measuring up, and suggesting wonderful ideas, on the Thursday we went back to see him and he had drawn all the plans up which looked amazing, we then proceeded to purchase our dream kitchen, we have never experienced anything like this before and it was a wonderful experience.

Thankyou so much for our donation for our forest school!
The donation has helped us to create a better environment for the children.
Thankyou so much Clare for organising.

Clare has been super helpful and no ask was too much, a great team and great customer service

Huge thank you to the brilliant team at Wickes for their incredible support of our community music festival. Clare in particular has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish — so helpful and responsive.

Their generous donation of a shed for our Silent Disco DJ booth is going to make a real difference to the event and to the experience for everyone attending. It’s not just about the product — it’s the kindness, flexibility and community spirit they’ve shown that really stands out.

We’re so grateful to have Wickes backing local events like ours. Fab team, fab service and a company that clearly cares about its community. Thank you! 🙌

A lady called Claire was very helpful in getting me some play sand for my school sand pit quick to reponse to my email quick dispatch would highly recommend.

Luke on the till was really very helpful and personable, he had good product knowledge and was happy to support me with what I needed. It shows that the management properly train and support the Wickes team members so they can do a great job. Highly recommend Wickes for any DIY project.

I would like to thank Roghu very much for the kind help he gave myself and my husband at Wickes Nottingham Central. It made the experience very easy with his help. Thank you so much, your help very much appreciated.

The staff here is amazing, super helpful and kind. We visited this branch very often recently and we always found everything we needed. Look for the branch-specific bargains!
