Wickes - Stoke On Trent Reviews 

Truly appalling customer service from Alan Pibworth at the Stoke on Trent Wickes branch. His desk was empty when I arrived for my kitchen design appointment and eventually he arrived 8 minutes late. His attitude from this point was dreadful, myself and my partner were made to feel an inconvenience for taking up his time. The appointment was over in 20 minutes because we both walked away. This is by far the most unprofessional experience I have endured when looking to make a major purchase. I will not be returning to this store

It was my first time purchasing a kitchen and the kitchen designer Hinal. She was very polite and helpful. She listened to wha to wanted as she came around to take measurements of my current kitchen. She has done a fantastic job of designing a new kitchen. She explained the process and how much things would cost. She answered any questions we had. I would recommend

Pleasant and smooth experience Mark Sheward is not pushy and let us make our own decisions he designed our kitchen which we are so pleased with the overall experience in store with Mark has been excellent I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a whole new kitchen design

Alan was very nice when he visited to measure our kitchen. He was very knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. We are looking forward to seeing the 3D plan!

Fantastic service from the first home visit from Hinal to delivery. She organised the pick up and reimbursement of the oven which was not suitable for my kitchen. Brilliant quality units. Very happy customer.

Bought tough and washable paint on the 30/4/25 attempted to exchange with proof of purchase on my bank statement as i had lost the receipt, was informed by the rude manager that none had beed sold at that store since February. Explained that i had only bought that paint on that day but was told they couldnt do anything without the receipt. Rang customer service who also was rather rude and told no exchange possible. I do not want a refund just to swap a tin of paint (not opened) like for like.

Home delivery service is useless. Ordered goods for home delivery from Stoke store. Received confirmation and delivery date and time between 7am & 7pm with message that I would receive a delivery slot from the courier. No message received, so contacted Wickes at 11am for an update on delivery. At 5pm I was called back to be told that the goods had not been dispatched and given a delivery date two days later. Again, I was promised a delivery slot that never arrived. Contacted customer services and the store for an estimate on delivery. Customer services never responded, the store said they could only give a four-hour delivery window. When asked what this was, they didn’t know. The order was finally delivered at 2:15pm, two days late and after I had stayed in at home for 18 hours awaiting its arrival.

Recently, I had a delivery due. When I checked the day before to confirm,I spoke to Derek who apologised for a mix-up and said he would try to get it on the van as plan. He informed me if he couldn't get it on the van but he would deliver it himself and he did. Thank you Derek.

We cannot fault our experience with Wickes for our fitted kitchen. Hinal was fantastic and designed the perfect kitchen for us . The communication was excellent throughout. Hinal was with is to answer any questions we might have or to assist us with any help we might need , she is a real credit to Wickes , so helpful and friendly. Finally the fitters that wickes provided were amazing and so helpful and the work was incredible.

I’m working with this store in Fenton for quite a long time. I also have worked with all the stores in the West Midlands. Based on that i must say that this store is the best organised of them all. Everything is precisely checked scanned, and the staff is helpful and easy going! I honestly love working with them, and I recommend that store to anyone that looks for a great service from a knowledgeable staff!

Hinal came out to measure and we told her want we would in a kitchen. A week later we went back to see the finish design. Wow it was amazing ,she asked if we would like to change anything. No way it was perfect even down to the blinds and flooring . We was so impressed we are now looking to have the bathroom done .

Sian, Lauren and Sky, were so helpful and kind, they were pleased to answer all my questions regarding my diy project and lovely at transaction point. Thanks so much! I would recommend them for any needs to my friends and family. If more people were like you the world would be a better place!

Items in stock. Easy click and collect service. Ant answered my queries, found the extra item I was looking for and helped me to my car with some heavy bags of chip bark. Thanks!

shopped at the Stoke branch as was served by a nice lady, she was very helpful and seemed to know what she was talking about, I will defintely shop there again

Recently shopped in Wickes, stoke on Trent Victoria rd, and had a great experience with a lovely, helpful gentleman called, Derek.

Very pleased with our new kitchen. Our kitchen designer was very thorough and exceptionally patient with us as we made several changes initially. The dry fit and installation all went smoothly and finished ahead of timescale, very professional.

I had undertook a garden project earlier this year where I got a couple of builders to get some supplies for the project and they bought the supplies from you.

I was very happy with the outcome as I asked them to build a sundeck near a corner in the back garden. I thought when it was finished I'm going to expand the border with pebbles that they bought to put under the decking.

Little did I know when I came to get some, there were none available from my local store (CANNOCK), so had bought them from Stafford instead. It was all well I thought until I noticed they were not getting replenished, and because I did not know the extent of how more I needed it became a bit like treasure island in the end where I had to search for the stuff.

I have bought these pebbles (SURBURAN STONE BLACK BASALT MIDI BAG) from the following stores: Stafford, Wolverhampton, Stoke on Trent.

I still need some more as it happens and now I find all the stores above are exhausted. My next nearest store is Redditch where I am going tomorrow (11/12/24) where I found out from one of your colleagues they have a very ample supply.

I use to work in retail until only last year, and I find it very unusual that such a thing can actually happen in a big company as big as Wickes.

If there is somebody I could talk to about this it would be good

Alan who came out to do the design was lovely. Listened to everything I was saying and a couple of hrs later we received an email and bathroom design was perfect, just what I wanted. And then we went in to see him again after our holiday and he talked through everything and that was it, we ordered our bathroom. Fingers crossed our installation is just as easy ☺️
