The quality of the wood is awful. It arrived covered in splinters and is incredibly rough to the touch. This is made even worse by the fact that I paid extra for a gloss lacquer finish, which has clearly not been applied, making the product unfit for its intended purpose. I paid a significant amount extra for this finish and did not receive what I ordered.

The problems started before the wood even arrived. The website provided an estimated delivery date, which I planned around, only to discover that it was meaningless. I had to chase customer support for an update and was then given a new delivery date five days later than originally stated. When that date came and went without my order being dispatched, I had to contact them again for another update.

I wish I had checked Trustpilot before placing my order, as I can now see the large number of negative reviews. Had I read them beforehand, I would not have used this company, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from them.

I am updating my review as I initially experienced some problems but Chris resolved them straight away and without any hassle. He offered another replacement order, or a full refund without hesitation and told me not to worry about sending the other item back. Very quick response and all settled to my satisfaction. My order was fine. The piece of MDF arrived and met my measurements exactly.
I ordered a very small piece to make a false drawer in a desk and arrived in excellent packaging and perfect to the size I ordered. No complaints at all about the product. Thank you.

Originally they sent out the wrong size. After emailling ( 3 times) they then sent out the correct item. If the emailling had been quicker and handled more efficiently i would of gave 5 stars.

Do not use, they'll leave you waiting over a month and wont reply.
After 2 weeks I got an email saying that they couldn't make to the size I needed so I needed to split it. I responded the same day with new sizes. They implied that it was the last thing to make and was marked as urgent. I got no response when I asked for an update. Over the next 3 weeks I contacted multiple times asking for an ETA. They never reply unless you create a new ticket on the website and only response was 'we're looking into it'. I ended up giving a time frame to provide an ETA or a refund and then I would be issuing a chargeback with my bank. I got a response a week after the deadline, after I already got a refund from my bank. Ordered somewhere else and received in 3 days.

Avoid at all costs. Sent me damaged shelves. Point blank refused to refund me as per my legal consumer rights when goods are damaged - insisted on sending replacement shelves even though I made it clear not on several occasions - they claim that they don’t have to refund in first 30 days which is nonsense. Persistently ignored my attempts to obtain my legal right to a refund by claiming that because the shelves were made to size I couldn’t a refund which is not the case when the goods are faulty. Had to refer the matter to my credit card company who are sorting it. You have been warned - don’t buy from this company as you ont have a good experience.

I ordered a couple of small shelves using their online design tool. That was great, you can specify the dimensions, finish, even the curve on the corners. Except - 8 weeks later I was still waiting for my shelves. When I contacted them by email I was told that I had selected a radius for the corners on the shelves that they could not make. But they didn't think to contact me and tell me.
I said I didn't care about the corners, I only used the radius feature because it was there on the website. I eventually got my shelves about 3 months after I'd placed the order.

I placed my order 15 days ago and have heard nothing since. Customer service has been completely unreachable, and submitting support tickets seems to have no effect.

The delivery estimate states 3–7 working days (although not guaranteed), but I am now on the 11th working day and my order status still shows "Processing." The lack of communication and updates has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Dreadful experience and I would never use again. Original order arrived on time - but totally the wrong size to what was requested. Refund refused. Weeks later, the correct size arrived - for which I have no use. The job since signed. My emails for a refund are ignored. Nothing more to say. I just won't be using them again.

UPDATE (25/06/2026): Following the initial unacceptable delays, a customer service representative named Steve took over my order. Steve was brilliant—he communicated clearly, took ownership of the issue, and ensured a replacement board was dispatched and delivered safely. While the initial process was frustrating, Steve's excellent handling completely resolved the issue and saved the experience. Changed from 1-star to 4-stars because of his help.

I ordered a custom desktop panel for £75, and it arrived in a shocking state. There are long, bright scratches and scuffs across both faces, a poorly finished edge, and a water-damage bubble on the front edge where the MDF core has literally expanded and blown out.

The external cardboard box was immaculate, proving this defective, water-damaged item was knowingly packed and dispatched from their warehouse.

I contacted customer support immediately last Friday. After dragging their feet for days, they finally asked for photos, which I sent on Tuesday. Since then, they have completely ignored my emails, including a formal ultimatum. My project is entirely on hold because I cannot assemble a defective product while waiting for them to resolve this.

This company has zero quality control and non-existent customer service. I have given them every opportunity to offer a fair partial refund or arrange a collection, but they are hiding. If this is not resolved today, I am taking the evidence straight to my bank to initiate a chargeback.

If only I checked Trustpilot first, after a long wait for the wood which was black chip board with edged all the way around it was for a computer desk , It took 3 weeks to turn up when I opened the parcel 2 corners where smashed like it had been dropped on the floor it was chipped on one side and had numerous scratches on the surface .You think it would be down to bad packing or bad courier but the packing was un damaged , I`ve seen better at the local tip use this service at your own risk

I ordered made-to-measure marine plywood shelves and was happy to wait the few weeks for them to be produced — the ordering process was smooth and my expectations were well managed. Sadly, the shelves themselves were a real letdown.
The wood quality and cutting were well below what I'd expect for a paid, custom order — the shelves were rough and unfinished and there were splinters and significant sawdust residue throughout. I'd also paid extra for a matt lacquer finish, which simply hadn't been applied.
I contacted customer service over a week ago and received an acknowledgement email, but nothing since. No resolution, no follow-up, no explanation.
It's a real shame, because the pre-purchase experience was good. But until the quality and customer service issues are addressed, I can't recommend purchasing from this company.

The website was intuitive enough and designing the cut to size MDF panel that I ordered was easy.

The customer service overall was abysmal however. I waited 10 business days before emailing in asking what stage the order was at. My emails got marked as spam and it was until a week after where I contacted my bank that they finally responded to my enquiries.

For me now that I have the product, it is exactly what I ordered and the final product is good. In the end the company did well by me, but response times and the messing around in between caused a lot of stress. 4 stars in the end because the product was good and the company did compensate for issues a long the way.

I needed 3mm cut mdf for a kitchen project. Everything arrived quickly and securely packaged up. Very pleased with product and would definitely recommend.

Easy to use website, found what I needed straight away, had some trouble paying with credit card, rang and spoke to a very helpful gentleman, who confirmed my order measurements were correct and took payment, really great service, good quality product, will definitely use this company again should I require supplies for another project.

Order from this company if you want some bespoke disappointment. I placed two "Express" orders but neither were fulfilled in the specified timeframe. When I asked to cancel, I was greeted with scripted responses citing an unenforceable "30 day" clause in their terms and conditions.

When challenged, their customer sevice agents became a combination of robotically militant and cerebrally streched in what can only be described as state of misguided confident delusion.

Two particular highlights were Hayley not understanding what a Subject Access Request is when such a request was specifically made and Ian feining intellectual superiority when challenged on the precedent of UK legislation over business terms and conditions.

Terrible unresponsive customer service. I’m still waiting for an order placed with express delivery of 3/4 days. It’s now over two weeks and their tracking link is broken. Seriously starting to think it’s a scam. How are they still trading? Wish I’d read the reviews. Stay well clear.

Excellent service. Quick delivery. Accurate cuts and great quality. I use cut marine ply for mosaic projects and I can get just what I need from Woodsheets

Ordered on 1st May and had confirmation of order.

20 days later no delivery and no updated when trying to chase. No response to emails. Not answering phone that is listed on the order confirmation even tried using the mobile Chris posts on negative reviews here and nothing.

Extremely disappointed as we needed these products to complete a safe play area for our two SEN children and the project has been left incomplete with no update on when we have what we need to finish it.

Wish we had looked at the trust pilot of the company before ordering.

It must be boring working for this company & constantly having to sort bad reviews.
Your time could be better spent simply doing your job of delivering the product people have paid for.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for a part with still no ETA.

Refund requested today, that better not take 3 weeks to be completed!!!
