Xplosive Events Reviews

Great fireworks , music was great too and DJ , plenty of food stalls ( avoid sausage one as it was cold and had to throw it away ) toilets could be lit up a bit better as hard to see if vacant or not . Easy entrance compared to previous year , leaving was a bit better - only please put more car park staff near the vehicles as they want to leave as that was a bit confusing to see where we had to exit and it got a bit bottle necked - the rest of the way out was fine - I would definitely recommend it though !!

We just love the fireworks you put so much effort in to it my grandchildren love coming to see it they have the best time every getting in & out of the event was better

Honestly the best fire display we’ve ever been to was self Halloween 2026 just incredible and I’ve been to London to watch fireworks at New Year and this was better than that!!

My kids had a fantastic time, and want to come back next year, so much food choices, fun rides, the fireworks were amazing! The DJ/presenter was comical and Hugh energy all evening. The whole group really enjoyed it!

Well organised event with 2 fireworks displays. We were very impressed with the choreography and explosive bonfire. Looking forward to next year already!

South cerney spooktacular. Great evening fireworks were amazing 😍

An amazing display and great event.
I think the parking prices were a little expensive but a good event.

The South Cerney Spooktacular this year was amazing! Couldn’t fault it at all. Loads of cars coming in when we parked but it all moved so quickly. Getting out as well moved nicely and we had no issues. The fireworks were amazing and the kids ones too! Definitely will be going back next year.

Went to south cerney fireworks display was amazing kids and adults enjoyed it all.

Tribute bands at Summerfest was surprisingly good.We ended up spending much more time by stage than we'd planned.

Ardingly Summerfest was busy there was much going so on that people were spread around the site pretty well. Monster truck show was easily our favourite part .

The Abingdon show has to be seen in person.Photos simply don't show how wide it is.At one point there were fireworks everywhere we looked.

Ducklington was brilliant. Great atmosphere, good sized fair and excellent fireworks. Exactly what we wanted from a family fireworks night.

Been to far Xplosive events now everyone has been enjoyable .Some are enormous some have more a local community fee, but they clearly put a lot into the entertainment and fireworks are always first class 😊

Jaw dropping displays created by illusion fireworks and showcased by explosive events, you can not find a bigger show that surrounds you with the biggest firework finales. Each year they get bigger and better!
Plenty of things to enjoy like the funfair and food stalls if you want to miss the initial mass exit!

Amazing displays and great event organisers I’ve been to afew events now summer and fireworks and they are all fantastic and well organised, yes Abingdon had some issues with the parking but the organisers have taken a this seriously from the communications they have sent out so this year should be a lot better and will then take away everyone’s main concern, even with the issues it was well worth the wait, to see fireworks like never before, absolutely amazing keep doing what you are doing as you make a lot of people very happy x

Better fireworks than Disney!
Car park can be a nightmare but if you plan and get there early, and enjoy funfair ect after the display to let the crowds die down it will be fine

We were booked to go to the Ibiza Orchestra at Holdenby House for a friend's 50th birthday. There were 3 of us going in July, That event was cancelled and rescheduled at Holdenby House again for September, which non of us could make, so we requested a refund from the company. Weeks later, they replied and said they would send a refund in due course, but we are still waiting. If you comment on their events they advertise on social media, the posts get deleted, and they aren't replying to emails, so we are currently going through my friend's bank to get the money back. An absolute s**t show of a company. STAY AWAY, DON'T BOOK WITH THEM.

Ordered tickets off XFE for a gig in Sunderland for the 16th August but was cancelled, got an e mail to say will be refunded and still waiting. 4 emails later and still no response about paying up.£88 is due to me for this. Not be booking with this company ever again.

We booked the symphonic Ibiza at Holdenby House. The event was cancelled but postponed to September. Yet again it was cancelled (with no explanation) so we’re now all trying to get ticket refunds… even now we’re getting emails to say ‘nearly time for your event get your tickets ready’ with ‘cancelled’ all over the email at the same time!! So badly organised and communications are extremely poor. I think the whole event could have been a scam.
