I have seen a few circuses over the years, this was the worst one by quite a distance. No disrespect to the brave and mostly talented performers who are also tasked with selling the tat and the food and snacks and even checking tickets.
Rather than it being a magical show full of razzle dazzle and showmanship, it is rather a series of short 'acts' like you would see in a village hall talent show but no presentation, no ringmaster, no animals, no magic tricks or anything, no 'theme', just pounding, low quality, royalty free dance music on cheap speakers.

There is an unfunny clown act where two of the 'clowns' were just guys in Circus Zyair hoodies and scabby tracksuit bottoms. The main (only) 'clown' himself had a sense of comedic physical performance but would do weird things like hold his finger up in triumph or as if signalling the end of a countdown to something special - the audience rendered unsure whether to applaud or wait for something that would never happen.

Cheap tatty props - a hairy spider that looked 25 years old and made by a child dangling on a rope with a massive buckle. How much work/cost would it take to make the rope look like silk? Too much evidently.

The dancers did at least try to smile, some of the other 'artists' supporting an admittedly impressive balancing act were just groaning and wincing with boredom, no ounce of showmanship or fun with many of them.

it is a very cheap night out and little kids will enjoy it but I just left feeling quite depressed. There is something quite bleak about seeing an African dancer rolling around on a disgusting muddy footprint strewn tarpaulin with chocolate wrappers lying on the floor, all just cheap and gross.

Practically, the website said 'Free parking' - this was not true as there was not even a carpark. The tent was not heated either so by the end I was profoundly cold and wanting to leave, feeling light headed due to the fumes of the motorbikes which they start revving up loudly and long before the final, also admittedly impressive, Wall of Death act.

I went to another circus maybe 10 years ago now for about the same price that was absolutely light years ahead of this one, beautifully dressed, elegant supremely talented performers who you felt privileged to see. Coming out of this one, I felt genuinely sorry for the workers of this circus.

Edit: I should also add, among the many untruths advertised on their website, this event is NOT socially distanced at all, you are crammed in like sardines. As of 17.03.22 I would say 98% of people not wearing masks. Up to them, but don't kid yourself that there is any consideration for the fact that the pandemic is still ongoing.

Really really enjoyed it. I took my family and my god children and their parents so 10 of us in all and everyone LOVED it, ages ranged from 2years to 42!!!! The performers were excellent, they gave off an amazing energy and you couldn’t help but smile along with them. We got the tickets at the reduced rate but I would be more than happy to pay full price for them and then some the show really is that good!!! As others have said the food is an extortionate price but you’re not going there for your dinner so didn’t detract firm our enjoyment.

Absolutely good value for the money all the acts where brilliant on their performances our grandchildren thouraghly enjoyed all of it as we did

GO GO GO!! AN ABSOLUTE MUST visit! Brilliant fun from start to finish absolutely AWESOME! The circus tent is magical!
If you have kids aged 4+ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Saw this in Nottingham yesterday. How utterly fantastic - jaw-dropping in fact! All the kids, and all the adults, in the audience clearly loved every minute of the many thrills which the company gave us. Recommended whole-heartedly. You clearly don't need red-nosed clowns and elephants to make a brilliant entertainment.

The performers were amazing. Such a wonderful experience to see live. The only thing I'd suggest for improvement would be to get in another ladies toilet block. Other than that fantastic customer service, fantastic circus.

This Circus is AMAZING!! It was my first time attending and I was so impressed by the talent of all the performers. I would definitely recommend getting to the circus early to ensure you can get the seat you want. I will definitely being going again when the circus is back in my town. Thanks Zyair! ☺️

A wonderful show. We were dazzled by the expertise of the performers. Friendly staff. My grandson was enthralled. Great value for money.

Took my grandson and daughter today. It was great , wonderful varied entertainment and the performers were talented and fun with amazing energy. Many thanks to you all for your hardwork it was excellent value for money .

Went today for a family day out and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed. The performances and performers were absolutely fantastic. The food and drinks was reasonably priced, the tent was nice and hot and the staff were friendly. Will definitely be coming again next time you come around!

Great performances, very friendly and polite staff. Whole show was breath-taking at times and certainly worth visit. Pretty wide selection of skilled performers and great clowns. Possibility to buy popcorn, hotdogs, drinks and toys. Toilets on site. Tickets great price. I saw some of the bad reviews, just to say circus is circus, tent was hot, lots of people and food overpriced. All expected, all possible to survive if you take your coat off, go to toilet and buy food at beginning of show, not when is half way break. Really nice to see so many people cheering up after covid lock downs.

Rude staff,music way too loud and annoying, dreadful food and rubbish plasrltuc everywhere. Covid safety measures were negligent and more appropriate for a concentration camp. Performers were good.

Went today at 3 pm show with daughter-in law and grandchildren age 13, 9, and 4 in Birkenhead park. Had a great time act’s we’re brilliant, lovely afternoon, previous reviews have said tack sold before the show, I thought prices were okay and children were made up with what they got, the only negative was 5 pound for a bag of popcorn if you had a few children it would be an expense that some may not be able to afford, maybe 3 pound a bag would be more appropriate. Other than that the act’s were professional and always had a smile on their face which what we have had to go through with pandemic was a pleasure to see thank’s guy’s and girl’s for a great day 👌

Awesome. My three kids (15, 12, 10) rated it 10/10. Drawbacks: started 15/20 minutes late (but ran over so still saw the full show); some prejudice in the comedy acts (it's 2021 - sexism and transphobia are not cool - get with the program); one mistake during an act which was reperformed perfectly; benches were uncomfortable for 90 minutes; gifts, food and drink extortionately priced; only 3 toilets per sex - fine for the men whose line quickly dwindled but the women's queue took forever (females take longer in the bathroom, have more reason to go to the bathroom, and bring along the younger kids); very noisy with the applause but also the music, and lots of flashing lights that could be overwhelming; obviously heaving with people so felt like a hen coop. However, the acts were amazing; the performers were lovely; the atmosphere was brilliant; and the show was just perfectly put together. It was well worth the £30 (got a £20 discount for 5 of us to attend) just for the experience. Already planning on attending again - this time with my mother - when the circus visits her town.

Went yesterday evening at Roundhay Park Leeds. Didn't know what to expect after reading some damming reviews. Blown away by the performers. My son has been to Vegas and paid £120 a ticket for Circ Solier and although more upmarket obviously.. says the acts were just as talented and professional..High praise indeed. A great night at the circus and my 5 year old Grandson was enthralled..and all for less than a tenner a ticket...Great value.
If they come to your town..don't miss this amazing experience..you won't be disappointed.

I have not seen the show yet, but there customer service is terrible which really worries me about the performance. I booked and paid for tickets in advance, the date has been changed to a date I cannot do, now I am being told that I will have to pay a £3 admin charge for each ticket. No one is getting back to me on the messaging service. Very poor sales so far. I hope they can redeem themselves

This had the ability to be good but sadly it wasn’t. Firstly the show should have started at 3pm, it finally started at 3.35pm with no explanations. They were more bothered about selling tat & refreshments than starting the show. Then they kept the refreshments open during the show. Firstly this was very distracting every time someone went to walk there & secondly it’s very dangerous!
The first act only lasted half an hour.
It was so hot it made everything worse. It was very overcrowded & didn’t feel very covid secure.
And all but one of the acts fell at some point.
We’ve seen a lot of circuses but this was most definitely the worst. We had to get out in the interval as it was so hot & we needed air & decided not to go back for the second act. I don’t think we were the only ones either as we saw a few walking away at the same time.

On a positive note my 2 grandsons loved it the acts were amazing, however I was very disappointed to find none of the terms and conditions of booking were being followed, it states masks are mandatory for over 11 three quarters of the audience did not wear masks, everyone behind us to the front of us and behind us did not wear one, no hand sanitizer station any where , we were crammed in like sardines, you could not get out when you were seated it was hot and airless, I would advise people in my age group 60 to think carefully before attending.

Went this afternoon. Amazing talent and thoroughly enjoyed by all Thank you for this. Made my year !
