Outdated Platform, Minimal Sales. Four years, $16 in Earnings
I have been using Xinxii for several years and my experience has been disappointing.
While the platform offers ebook distribution, the actual visibility and sales performance have been extremely poor. After approximately four years of distribution, my total earnings were only around $16, which averages to about $4 per year.
The platform lacks effective promotional and marketing tools for authors. There is little support for helping books gain visibility or reach readers.
The user interface feels outdated and unstable. Managing multiple books can be frustrating, and the website performance is not always reliable.
Distribution channels have become more limited over time, and in some cases distribution appears to be disabled or removed without clear explanations being provided to authors.
My books were technically distributed, but in practice they received almost no discoverability. For independent authors looking for meaningful exposure and sales, my experience suggests that the platform delivers far less than expected.
The only positive aspect is that the platform is easy enough to use for basic ebook distribution. However, based on my results over several years, I cannot recommend it as a primary publishing platform.
