Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I was told after 30 days being with the company that I would get a 150 Amazon gift card. I received nothing after 30 days so I went into a customer service chat the worker said to check back in at the 45 day mark so I did now I’m told 60 days. When asked why I was told 30 days when I signed up now told double the time they refuse to respond to my question ending that chat and saying have a nice day with no help or response as to why there is such a difference in what I was told when I signed up. Absolutely terrible people to speak with
This company is the absolute worst…
This company is the absolute worst company to deal with. When they setup our account they did not add a primary contact. So as per their instruction we emailed them twice with a letter from the actual company owner. They said he is not authorized. I called 4 times to have our account cancelled but they will not do it. They have charged us 4 extra months now since first asking to cancel. Now we cannot cancel because they won't accept the letter and won't listen to me who is the only person on the account but only listed as authorized and not primary account holder, in which they have no one. STAY AWAY FROM THEM, They are scammers and fraudsters.
Absolutely horrendous customer service
Absolutely horrendous customer service!
There is no communication whatsoever.
I had xplore installed, they charged me $159 to install it, it was horrible quality so a couple weeks later they came out to "fix it" and charged me an additional $159.
It was still really choppy and slow even though it was supposed to be the best option.
So I cancelled my service with them and they told me they would keep my account open for a couple months in case I wanted to come back so it would be "convenient" for me without telling me that if I didn't call and recancel something I had already cancelled, they would start charging me again. So they charged me $106 for 6 days of "use" even though I had nothing of their hooked up.
I was asked how to return their equipment and they said I would either need to pay someone $150 to remove it for me or I would have to go on my two storey house roof and remove it myself or get charged $500 for not returning it in 30 days....
These guys are the BIGGEST scammers I have ever met!!!!
Xplore has gone downhill
Xplore has gone downhill. Spotty internet, rude support, and unnecessary charges for equipment. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
TERRIBLE INTERNET COMPANY
If zero was an option I’d give them that! I live in the country so the only option for internet was Xplore for over 6 years. Not only was the internet way overpriced, for not even a good amount of data, it never worked, unless it was clear skies. Recently, a new tower was put up in our are, so I was able to get the new provider and called to cancel Xplore. The lady on the phone told me that she recommended 2 free months, just in case my new provider wasn’t meeting my standards. I said I didn’t need it as our new internet is already running & working well, so they could come get their equipment. She said they didn’t need to get their equipment, and she was going to grant me the 2 free months anyways, and after 2 months my internet would expire. Come to see that they charged me over $100 for 2 months of internet that I didn’t use. When calling I am told that it’s my issue, as I didn’t call to cancel. I said that is not what I was told, please review my call. To then be told that I’m basically lying, as they are trained professionals, who would never say that to me. Then I was told to leave a message with a manager who would get back to me in 24 hours. That took almost a week… where they told me that the payments were valid. Disgusting money hungry business. That has zero customer service, and empathy!
I'm very happy with my Internet service.
I'm very happy with my line of sight internet. It's much faster and more stable than the Bell DSL line that was my only other choice. Although it is more expensive than other services, they have excellent customer service and technical support.

summer home in Nova Scotia
We have a summer home in West St. Andrews NS, and needed a good internet service. Xplore net is just the right fit. We installed in 2023. We have solid internet and wifi to stream movies to our fire tv stick. We can also temporarily disable our accountvwhen we are away. Great service, I highly recommend.

I was excited to have internet at my new place and found the experience to be awesome. From having every step of the process explained to me and the two technicians who came to do the install were nothing short of knowledgeable, personable and very professional. I would recommend Xplore to all my acquaintances looking for a great internet service.

We have really been enjoying your service.
We have really been enjoying your service when we are up at our house up North. The streaming is fast and effective and better even than when we started with you. It means a great deal to us to still be well connected with the outside world!!! Also in May we were going up to our place and I had forgotten to reinstate your service. I was able to do it on my cell phone and have it operational when we arrived a few hours later. Just fantastic!!!

The agent who took my call was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. She was patient and answered my many questions. She arranged our service upgrade for the day following my request . The technician was well trained, friendly and helpful.

I have been with Xplornet for 9 years now and generally the product and service has been excellent. My only negative complaint is like ALL other companies they offer great discounts to new customers but their long standing existing customers do not receive these deals. I guess this is how the world does business now.
