I had a very frustrating experience with Yard regarding my home loan application. While Alex, my consultant, was extremely helpful and I would highly recommend them, the overall process was terrible. They kept asking for numerous documents, including a tax return for my self-employed status. Initially, they offered a 5.45% rate for my home loan, but after a month of back-and-forth, they suddenly increased it to 7.2%. The process was long, confusing, and disappointing.

When others said no, Yard found a way.
CBA and other brokers said the loans weren't serviceable. Yard found a way.
Manuela worked hard and secured us the loan for our new house while keeping our investment property.
Both of us are running new businesses while my wife worked full time and myself casually.
Manuela took the stress away.

‘The Yard’ are a sensational tree removal company and are true to their word.
They understand Council protocols permits and regulations
They are efficient and extremely clean
They ensure that the ‘Owner’ of the tree understands the criteria involved regarding pruning or removal. ie keeping symmetry of the tree or the most efficient way of removing it from the property.
They are covered by their own insurance
I would highly recommend this company and even though I was made aware by the owner that his quote wasn’t the cheapest it was the most honest appraisal that I got !
Finally, they left my property cleaner than when they came and the tree looks great

Having dealt with Yard in the past I found my loans manager Tian made the whole experience very easy, with hardly any stress on my part.

Absolutely fantastic! William worked a miracle. As my company was operating for under two years and I hadn't paid myself a lot, no one would help or refinance me even though I had equity in my home and company. Then William worked his magic and literally saved the day. I could not recommended him enough. He was extremely helpful too and understanding. Again, a massive thank you William.

Yard Home loans were able to help me in refinancing my mortgage when I didn't get a favourable response from other lenders. Usually I work on ABN but in last financial year I worked on Payg for sometime and then switched back to ABN this has made situation a bit complicated for conventional lenders to understand. Switching to yard home loan from other lender took longer then expected, probably because the process started just before christmas break. Interest rate is a bit higher than the big4 banks. Their customer service is very good.

Brayden and the team at Yard did an amazing job. I had an extremely tight deadline over the Christmas period and Brayden was working on my application the day before his Christmas break and was back on it the day he came back. We not only met the deadline but settled early. The team at Yard made the whole process so easy and straight forward and guided me the whole time. I will 100% use them again and recommend them to any one who asks.

James was great to deal with, very thorough. Also working to a very tight timeline for settlement done over Xmas too and we were able to do it all in just over 4 weeks, outstanding!

Napatra is by far the most professional Broker I have ever dealt with, she made the whole loan process stress free and simple. Napatra went above and beyond to ensure I had all the information and documents ready the first time so there’s no delay. She has excellent communication skills and actually picks up the phone when you call. I would highly recommend Napatra to anyone looking for a home loan and I will be using her again for my next property.

I began looking for a property in 2024, found the right property in the first quarter of 2025, and successfully settled in July 2025. Dealt with Meghan. An incredibly incompetent broker who failed more times than I can count on my fingers to deliver on promises. 3 months after my initial enquiry, with endless information and forms completed, and I find myself still without pre-approval and restarting the process with another broker. Prices have escalated dramatically over this time. You cannot contact them at all as it just rings out (ask yourself what sort of business doesn't have a receptionist), you get long winded replies to messages that look like they're based from a template or constructed with AI, and you can't even leave a complaint. I'm convinced most of the reviews on here are fake and I would ask yourself if you really deserve the hassle like this once you've paid a deposit and need something more than a pre-approval - good luck.
