Quality of product has clearly changed
As a long term customer, I have noticed a variance in quality over several months. Some of the batches have a perfume type taste and bags split open. This is a fact. My wife drinks a rival product. I have been complaining all week and we thought the milk, sweeteners or the water were to blame. She tasted mine and told me to throw it away. I am not a fan of her tea, but having made a fresh cup, I could taste the difference.
I want Yorkshire Tea back as it has always been. Not some imitation with cheaper bags or clever formula changes to save money. It's a premium product in the first place & without positive intervention it won't end well. I am sure polite customer service and a free box will impress some, but actions speak louder than words. We want our tea back!

I have always been drinking this tea
I have always been drinking this tea, since last few days I have experienced really bland taste of tea with very less strength.
I have changed the milk and quantity of milk but no matter what, this doesn’t affect the taste of tea. Could we please get the batch with strong strength of tea please

Tea bags – extremely low quality
I decided to write this review after yet another YT tea bag split open when I was trying to separate two tea bags stitched together (which is the usual format for the tea bags I buy). The quality of the tea bags is so bad that this happens maybe every tenth time I do this (and that's being generous). So I have to wash my table, mug (sometimes the floor too) and throw another wasted tea bad into the bin... After today, I threw them all into the bin and I'm getting some different tea brand tomorrow.

Disappointing quality
For the last few months we have noticed that Yorkshire Tea is not as good now as it was, the brew is not very tasteful and always pale in colour, we have decided that when this box is empty we will go back to P G Tips

Excellent customer service experience
Having sent an email to customer services regarding an issue with split teabags I have been impressed with this team. My issue was addressed quickly, I received a detailed explanation as to the likely cause, an apology and a reassurance that the details of the batch would be fed back to the team. I could not ask for more.
A replacement product was sent out as compensation.
Its never nice to raise an issue but to have such a response made me feel that I was listened to.

Fantastic customer experience
One of the best customer service I have dealt with. Sent a complaint in on Sunday morning as I had opened a new box of tea bags and a lot of them were split. With it being a Sunday their customer service was closed to Monday morning. I had a reply 10 minutes after they open. With an apology, explanation to what had happened, what they would do to try and stop it happening again and confirmation they had send a fresh box out which turned up 3 days later. I can not fault any part of my experience contacting them. Thank you

I hate complaining but...
I hate complaining but when I discovered more tea in the box than in the bags I felt I needed to report. I heard back very promptly with an apology. Within a few days I received a box of 240 tea bags. So I'd say thank you very much and I will continue using Yorkshire tea bags having enjoyed your tea for decades. I wouldn't buy any other brand.

The split tea bags
My absolute go to tea has always been Yorkshire tea gold and after never having a problem all this time, unfortunately in the last box I bought half of the tea bags werent sealed correctly. So I thought id email Yorkshire tea just to let them know and the next day they had replied and apologised for what had accured and sent me out a full box of tea as an apology. Now that is customer service that most companies should strive for, you could say there customer service is as good as there tea and that is saying something. 10/10s all round. This is why they are the best tea'ers in the business.
