I was just wondering about the yose triangle battery the 36volt 21ah one is it the same as the ups battery that's been recalled but using yose brand name instead

Its been 2 years since i bought my conversion kit from yose power on ebay .
First of all the battery still seems to work. Its not as good as it was but its ok for its age .
Now the main kit , the motor and wheel are of sturdy quality . The motor hub 250w is rather wide . It fitted my tricycle no problem but when i moved the kit to my folding bike i have maybe 1mm of clearance inside the forks . My only real gripe with the wheel is it width is very narrow compared to a normal wheel . The speedo controller thing still works fine. Its of a nice decent looking quality and is good.
The electronics controller unit is also working fine still . Overall its a good bit of kit .

Poor quality signal sender disc that goes by the crank although i did purchase the clip disc with magnets seperatly and this is much better .

The thumb throttle is also pretty nasty although functional and works when i connect it .

The free electronics box has got broken unfortunately . Its free so i cant complain but if you would like to send me another 🤣😎..

Overall i rate this kit as good and better than a lot of other electronics ive bought from ebay .

This kit was given to me as a Christmas present from my stepson
I fitted it to my Carrera Crossfire 2 bicycle.
Being a retired motor mechanic fitting this kit was quite easy for me.
Was pleased with the performance of the 350 watt motor and the mileage is acceptable in all modes.
Having had 2 road bikes I now find cycling more enjoyable with this Yose power electric bike kit, it is well made for the price had it 6 months now without any issues, the hand throttle is usefull when starting off at junctions ect
All things taken in consideration would recommend this kit to start your E Bike journey.

Had rear kit for 2 years no problems at all holds charge very happy been through all weathers just ordered another to make into two wheel drive

The motor broke just after 1200 km, at 2000 km the charger broke. The customer service needed 8 emails and 10 days to tell me I have to buy a new charger, as the warranty is over. I just made 2000km! In 1.5 years. The charger I need is not available on their web anymore. And customer service did not answer anymore since 8 days and 4 emails. No solution provided. Very poor customer service and poor quality of products.

Purchased a YOSE POWER E-bike Battery 24V 10.4AH it failed 6 months after the 18 month warranty. It was very lightly used but maintained as per instructions. The ‘UK’ based customer service has provided no assistance, warranty has meaning under consumer law, it should last a reasonable amount of time which it has not!! I even purchased a replacement charger first to see if that was the issue and I have had no luck returning that as it obviously wasn’t, so I ended up more out of pocket!!

I have had my rear hub motor kit for 3 months, and so far I am very pleased with it.

I opted for the rear kit without the battery since I wanted a bigger battery for more range.

The kit arrived in 3 days, all working fine, and the trickiest bit of my installation was tidying up the wires.

Like I said, I have put 430 odd miles on it, and so far so good.

I chose Yosepower after seeing several YouTube videos on installation. I bought the front 20 inch ebike kit to add to my new folding bicycle.

To add the PAS to the bottom bearing to create a minimum distance of 4mm to the crank meant removing metal from the crank, lots of sanding.

The cable from the hub motor is 1.8m and far too long. In my case 90cms is sufficient. But unlike other makes they do not have a connector on the front fork to make it easy to remove the front wheel without removing all the cable to the controller.
My battery a 36v-15a is being mounted on a combined controller rack mounted on my rear carrier.

Now my extra gripe is I am not using the thumb throttle controller, the brake levers, the light and the included controller. These I have paid for in the kit, but will be wasted. Far better to allow the customer to choose what is needed, than to add so much extra stuff not needed.

I've covered over 100 Miles so far with my 13.5Ah battery. It never gets hot supplying 250w, or whilst charging. I lost some speed after 15 miles but it was still showing over half capacity. Seems like a good product which I would recommend.

I decided to buy a quality product (Frog battery 24v 10A) from a recognised company and expected 4-5 years from it before it would operate on ½ to ¾ capacity . Getting a product that completely failed a few days out of warranty (18mths) simply isn’t a quality product and not acceptable. Company not interested.

Seul le capteur de pédalage ne fonctionnait pas bien (non adaptable...): il m'a été remboursé 20 euros sans problème et j'ai pu acheter un capteur plus adapté sur un autre site
Expérience concluante, mon vélo fonctionne parfaitement et la puissance est suffisante

Very poor quality. Yose power give me a used product. I wont recommend anyone to buy from this company..

I have purchased two kits from this company one for myself and one for my wife. Her bike is a trusty old Raleigh Wayfarer which is nearly 60 years old. It needed a few modifications to make it fit including changing the rim. The local cycle shop supplied the rim and rebuilt wheel to incorporate the motor. I am cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats on my converted bike. Have now reached Glasgow and the kit has performed really well. All my emails have been answered very quickly. When installing the kit (2 years ago) I did find a problem with the main wiring harness but they shipped a new one from China in 3 days. Originally, I researched Yose and found some really good reviews from cycle experts who have converted many bikes and considered it one of the best kits at reasonable prices.

Installé depuis peu sur le B-TWIN ROCKRIDER 340 de ma fille sans trop de soucis (sauf que j'ai installé les rondelles autobloqueuses à l'extérieur de la fourche, sinon cette dernière était écartée et impossible de régler le dérailleur arrière.
Par contre les menus de l'écran ne correspondent pas au manuel d'instructions, pas de possibilité de régler à plus de 25km/h, or le système plafonne à cette vitesse alors que seule l'assistance devrait se couper...

I cannot get ahold of anyone, I have emailed at least five times , no one answers phone. I’ve have two batteries go completely dead. It is supposed to have 18 month warranty.

Purchased a 28" front wheel 250watt kit with battery. Great support and assistance from Joey throughout the installation as I asked various questions about battery fitment, PAS fitment etc. The quality of the kit is excellent, with great installation manual supplied and backup from the Yosepower website. Highly recommended, it's the support that made this a great experience, hats off to Joey.

Excellent service, ordered battery 8pm Sunday evening received battery Tuesday morning. The battery seems to be good quality and is holding its charge well. Great price for such a large battery 15Ah down tube type, £188. Happy with service and product.

I cannot praise the customer service high enough. I bought a battery for my E-bike it was great. After about 18 months I had difficulty changing. This may have been due to customer error or a fault. I had numerous interactions with customer service . There representative (Joey) took time to direct me to appropriate self help videos. I was unable to correct the fault. I returned the out of warranty battery and this was fixed and returned in perfect working order. The measure of a company is the standard of product and customer service. This company lives up to high expectations and supersedes them. I have no hesitation in recommending them for giving quality products backed up by an efficient post purchase customer support and technical team.
