Placed order online
Placed order online, called the Zizzi Cutty Sark a second later after placing the order to request the food not to have a particular ingredient. They agreed and said they will let the kitchen know. Food arrived with that ingredient on it. Called Zizzi Cutty Sark back and advised my order was wrong. The person in charge said as the food was already made could not do anything about.
The food also arrived not hot, and looked as if it didn’t just come out of the oven but had been sitting there for quite some time.
Poor customer service and very rude staff.

Visited Stratford-upon-Avon branch Thursday 14th Nov. Served by the lovely Kirsty who was excellent. Although we had not booked and the restaurant was busy pre-theatre all seemed to be working well together. Food was very good. All in all a smashing meal in a pleasant environment and a great experience.
Went to restaurant in Hitchin
Went to restaurant in Hitchin. They were trying to serve too many people as well as getting orders ready for delivery. We had calamari that was not cooked enough. My husband ordered a pizza and i had pasta. My husband had nearly finished his, before it was noticed i did not have mine. When it did arrive it was luke warm.
For the prices they charge the food was a big disappointment. Will not be going again.
to us so I explained what was…
to us so I explained what was happening. The man apologized because .... and here is an interesting fact: The kitchen does not cook everything because it receives ready-made semi-finished products to heat up or finish. Ah, so everything is clear. So there is nothing here that is prepared by the chef from scratch from fresh products - sad. The service man wants to give me 25% redundancy. I explain that it is not necessary, I do not care about money. What I mean is that when going to a restaurant - not to a cheap pub, I want to sit in a clean, nice space, feel the taste and atmosphere of the place, be delighted by the good taste of the dish and enjoy the moment. Unfortunately, I left here very disappointed and I will definitely not come back. It is a pity that Lancaster does not have a decent place where you can go, eat well and tasty, drink good quality tea or coffee or a glass of high quality wine. I am willing to give a palace for good food in a good place. I can not reccomend this place .
Poor
Poor, after initially being greeted and seated promptly and politely, we sat there for over 10 mins and no one came to serve or offer drinks etc so we left.
Great dining experience
Zizzi Colchester. Lovely meal, tasty, great menu options, happy with portion sizes, prices competitive. Waitress Alina was great, thankyou for making it special. So rare to have a great dining experience today. We are already talking about going back.
Zizzi’s for the win
I have eaten at 3 separate Zizzis and their food and service is amazing. I had the beef pasta tonight and apparently ate 2 halves of tomato much to me wife’s amusement. The food is that good I didn’t even notice I ate them. I have nothing bad to say about Zizzis they are amazing. Server name Darina she is brilliant
Terrible service
Terrible service. Very quiet on Halloween night, chef standing waiting for orders, arrived 10 min before six, starters arrived but then they forgot about the main course. People started to arrive, just a handfull of tables, but people were sending plates back, complaining about the wait. None seemed to be in charge, guy hidden behind the bar and staff taking 30 min break in front of everyone when they couldn’t cope with a handfull of tables. We complained as everyone else that arrived 10 min after us got served, 20 min waiting and no sign of the main course. We were just told the chefs were very busy. Terrible terrible service.

Arrived 6:30 for prebooked table to find restaurant almost empty.
Was told by greeter that no pasta was available. Que? Italian resto with no pasta? How hard is it to buy a bag of pasta from Tesco and boil a pan of water? Never mind, we'll choose something else...
Ordered king prawn skewers starter...not available. Pork balls instead followed by Chicken milanese and chicken calabrese.
Pork balls arrived 20 minutes later and were ok. Another 20 minutes later, chicken dishes arrived.
Milanese was ok (but with almost raw green beans) but calabrese was totally devoid of chicken!
Just undercooked half new potatoes in a nondescript hot sauce. Refused and sent back.
No explanations...just a rather tired apology. Paid for starter only and left at 7:45, still hungry.
If they are not going bust, they deserve to. Avoid.
Mushroom risotto served with what…
Mushroom risotto served with what looked liked spinach, which was solid. Pepperoni Bologna pizza was served like the outer crust was cardboard. Compared to previous visit to Meadowhall this was appalling. To be fair after speaking to the manager the meal was not charged .

We went here as it has a lot of gluten free options for my partner. Most of the staff were friendly but very overworked and spread thin and clearly stressed. The food was edible, neither good nor bad. Like a very very cheap microwave meal for one. My partner had gluten free and said it was just alright. We'd have not minded so much if the prices weren't anywhere near as high. It wasn't worth it. For those prices we could have gone to somewhere better. That was the biggest issue. With the prices being that high we were expecting at least decent quality. I felt as though I was eating microwave pasta from the kids menu at a pub that didn't really cater to kids and had the thing at the back of the freezer since 1998. I appreciate how hard most of the staff were working but some didn't seem interested in being there at all and spoke down to us a bit.
Friendly wait staff, poor food and glacial kitchen
I used to rely on Zizzi as a reliable and good quality family restaurant. No longer after today's visit to Regent Street Cambridge. Arrived at a quiet time with 6 kids and two adults after a birthday event. Despite there being few other customers, it took 45 minutes for even modest kids' starters to arrive and an hour before the starter order was fulfilled. Given that most of it was kids' menu items which are garlic dough balls and Margherita pizzas, this is just weak. We skipped dessert as this would have taken even longer so we bought ice cream on the way home.
The front of house staff were very friendly if inexperienced. The issue was the kitchen, which was open to view and clearly glacial in pace. This place needs a manager.
The menu looks great but the execution was poor, with their premium pasta dishes feeling like mac n'cheese with a few slices of salami or three meatballs in a thin tomato sauce. All in all, not the Zizzi I remember from maybe four years ago.
We should have walked out
Reservation for 8pm, 4 people. Calamari had "run out". Chicken Milanese was sent back (inedible), huge chicken calzone had a couple of spoonfuls of filling and the Margherita with extra toppings was not fully cooked and looked and tasted like warm cardboard. Waited 90 minutes to get the food on the table whilst take aways were collected by customers and food delivery bikes who obviously had preference. Staff (most of them) were apologetic and said one of the chefs was off sick (????). It was so bad that they waved our bill altogether but our night out was ruined (we are retired adults, not swinging youngsters) and we will never go to a Zizzi again.
Zizi - Not So Good
Starter was very nice, we had calamari. Unfortunately the main meal was received and we both was plated microwave food which was not worth the money.
Lovely people but think about the time you eat, we ate at 16:00 due to business needs. I don’t think we will be going back.

I love Zizzi I went here for my birthday and the food is fantastic if you gluten-free or not they have plenty of food for everyone there kindness is impeccable and In my opinion I love the pizzas I would recommend this place if you love Italian food
Very mediocre
Went for a meal on a Friday night. Firstly the no cash sign at the door was disappointing.
The place was fairly empty and we were sat in a corner which was fine.
I ordered a mocktail and it was small but refreshing. My friend ordered a wine which arrived warm and she requested ice and mentioned wine was warm, no apology offered, ice eventually brought over.
Ordered our mains and they arrived promptly.
Wasn't impressed at all with the food, I had the risotto and it was very stodgy and covered in cheese, half the amount would have been too much. Garlic bread was over cooked.
Friend had lasagne which she said was fine.
On a positive we loved the bubble style cups the coffee came in.
Overall not the best experience and I don't plan on returning.
Waited longer than expected for order…
Waited longer than expected for order to be taken and had to approach staff to ask for service. Food was completely tasteless.
Zizzi’s Cardiff Bay
We had a large booking (20+) for a big celebration . The manager, Ali, who we were in contact with leading up to the event was friendly and helpful ( with our ever changing numbers and selections 😂) The staff on the night were Amazing-even with the global IT issues it did not stop them from fulfilling our large preorder. Food arrived timely and was absolutely stunning and piping hot ( Sharing platter to start and (cassereccia pollo pacante 👌💕)
Nothing was too much trouble.
The restaurants open kitchen and friendly chef made it feel like they were catering just for us. A*+

As an Italian I'm disappointed with the pizza ordered tonight via Uber. ate a little and threw it away. change jobs, you're not good at having a chain of restaurants. but how do you call what you prepare pizza? I won't add anything more.
Absolute shocking
Absolute shocking. Calzone was a thick pastry pizza pie. The lasagne was flat and not a good taste. The frozen section does not give Zizzi any justice whatsoever. Very disappointing and I believed you could not get a lasagne wrong. Zizzi yes you can. Will not be buying again. Blah.
