Brilliant Service Throughout
We requiered a fit to cruise document signing to confirm we were fit and healthy and ok to join a cruise to Antarctica. We contacted ZoomDoc to ask if they could assist. We had an immediate response to our email. We uploaded the forms and after answering a few questions, we had the forms signed and emailed to us the same day.
During the process we had a few quieres and the team at ZoomDoc responed by return of email. They were excellent.

Warning: ZoomDoc Requests Government ID, Face Video and Medical Data. Think Carefully Before Handing It Over
I found ZoomDoc’s process extremely invasive. For a simple referral letter they wanted me to upload identity documents such as a passport/driving licence plus a video of me speaking about my medical problem on camera, while I’m extremely unwell.
People need to understand what they are handing over. Government ID combined with facial/video data and medical information is some of the most sensitive personal data you possess. People should seriously ask themselves: who exactly is behind the company, where is all of this information stored, who can access it, how long is it kept and is any of it ever shared with third parties? I wouldn't trust anyone with that kind of information. Once you hand over your government ID, face/video data and medical information, you lose a huge amount of control over it. If that data was ever compromised or misused, it could very easily facilitate identity fraud, impersonation, account-verification scams or AI/deepfake abuse. When a company wants this much extremely valuable personal information, you are absolutely entitled to ask why the hell they need it and what happens to it afterwards. In the modern data economy, people should remember that if you’re handing over vast amounts of personal data, you need to understand exactly what the company is getting from you because more often than not - you are the product.
I used FastDoc instead. They are cheaper, took around an hour and I simply provided the necessary information in writing. No passport, no driving licence, no invasive video of me discussing my health while feeling horrific.
I would not use ZoomDoc and I would strongly advise people to think very carefully before handing over this level of sensitive information for a simple bog standard referral letter.

Where identification, clinical information or video evidence is required, it is handled through ZoomDoc's secure systems under strict access and information-security controls. Patient information is securely stored, archived and deleted in accordance with our applicable retention policies and professional guidance, including relevant BMA guidance.
We fully agree with one point in your review: patients should care deeply about who they entrust their identity and medical information to. That is precisely why ZoomDoc has invested in CQC-regulated clinical governance, ISO 27001-certified information-security systems and robust patient-verification procedures.

I approached ZoomDoc to complete a private airline medical form for my 88 year old mother to access wheelchair assistance. Her GP was charging her £200 to do this.
