Misleading about what you need!
I had to use ZoomDoc because my GP refused to provide me with the medical summary I need to get a disability ID. I answered all of the questions, provided every bit of evidence I had, but then had a message saying they needed my GP Medical Summary 🤦🏼♀️ If I had that, I wouldnt have needed ZoomDoc in the first place! I think its very misleading when they say that you answer a questionnaire and get a medical letter, it should be advertised that you need a GP medical summary BEFORE you pay for it, as if it had been advertised, I'd have gone elsewhere. I requested a refund immediately when I found out they would be unable to provide the letter I need, however I am still waiting for the refund to come into the bank.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear about the frustration you've encountered and understand why this was disappointing, especially given that you were seeking an alternative after being unable to obtain the documentation you needed from your GP.
To clarify, our Disability Access certificate service specifically states within the required documentation section that applicants must provide either their digital Summary Care Record or a doctor's letter confirming their medical disability. Unfortunately, without one of these documents, our medical team is unable to verify the information required to issue the certificate.
Following your application, our medical team also sent a separate email explaining that we required this documentation before we could proceed. While we appreciate that this may not have been the outcome you were hoping for, we have a duty to ensure that all certificates are issued only when sufficient medical evidence has been reviewed and validated.
We understand that you have since obtained a certificate from another provider. However, the fact that another provider was willing to issue a certificate without the required medical documentation reflects the higher governance and clinical standards that ZoomDoc follows. We do not issue certificates unless the appropriate supporting evidence has been supplied and reviewed by our medical team.
Regarding your refund, we have checked both our medical records and payment system and can confirm that your refund was processed on the same day that it was requested. Refunds typically take 3-4 working days to appear back in your account, depending on your bank's processing times. If you have not yet received it, we would recommend contacting your bank directly for an update.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving how we communicate our requirements to patients before they begin an application.
