First class Alex 3709 went above and beyond to fix our problem with draining and spinning problems with our Zanussi washing machine

Despite being told precisely what the issue was, a lack of planning resulted in a second visit being necessary because the parts hadn't been brought. The repair itself was quick and effective, but when leaving was told, 'see your old drum, that's your problem'. It was huge, heavy and left haphazardly in my hall, blocking the access to the bathroom. Was also told that the mountain of cardboard packaging which had been left on the pavement and had become soaked in a downpour 'see that, that's your problem too'. I had to bring it inside so not to block the path for school kids coming home who would have had to walk on the road. Terrible customer service experience. Seemed complely unnecessary and uncalled for. There was no need for such an aggressive and unfriendly approach. I hope this is addressed

Allan (3165) did s great job resolving our fridge freezer problems today

We had a lighting problem with our Zanussi Cooker which despite visits from engineers was unable to be fixed. Then Karl came to look at the problem and he wasn't satisfied until the cooker was working perfectly. He came on two visits to sort out the problem with the burners not lighting correctly and virtually rebuilt the electrical system which controlled the burners and oven lighting. His knowledge and expertise was evident and he had soon rebuilt and replaced micro switches,oven burners and igniters and got the cooker to perform exactly as it should. We can now cook a meal without the worry of the cooker not lighting or turning off in the middle of a boiling pans. Many Thanks Karl.

Excessive noise and water leak from door.
Well after three visits now know the problem.

Engineer 1 we will call him David came put machine on spin empty, despite being told issue was when machine loaded and during cycle. Would not listen to my wife and said no problem and left.

Machine put on flooded our kitchen, called for another visit and asked for different engineer several days later David comes back same again and leaves. Machine put on mixed wash starts to flood kitchen, water cut and machine drained.

3rd Visit arranged with Engineer 2 James comes listens to us and puts machine on with some items in it, min or so agrees not working correct so turns off opens machine to find concrete block has sheared off and snapped a water pipe, hence the flooding. He advised us machine is a right off.

If only David had listened we would have known a lot earlier and kitchen would not have flooded, and we would have had a lot less stress.

If getting an engineer in SW of Scotland I recommend James Cann. If anyone can fix James Cann can.........

Luke Barrick (2582) of 0800repair came to repair my dishwasher. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a very efficient tradesman. He exchanged the heating element quickly and left my kitchen clean and tidy. I would recommend this young man and this company to anyone needing appliance repairs

I have a BEKO Fridge/Freezer with a 5 year warranty which is serviced by 0800repair. The Fridge/Freezer is not getting down to temperature. Over the past two months I have had four visits from their engineers to fix the problem. The first two visits changed the thermostat board inside the fridge to no effect. The last two visits confirmed my suspicions that the compressor/evaporator/condenser has probably lost some refrigerant and needed checking and re-gassing. The office staff do not seem to understand that an electrical/electronics refrigeration engineer may not be qualified or able to carry out the re-gassing work so they send the first refrigeration engineer that their system gives them. 0800repair need to provide their back office staff with sub categories so that the correct engineer can be sent to the customer. This will also significantly reduce the doorstep confrontations that the engineers are subjected to from frustrated customers.

I have used 0800 Repairs for the last couple of years. Engineer Dan Peake arrived on time as promised. Carried out repairs on our heating system / Mid position valve and motor. Very polite and chatty. Explained to me in detail the problem and what he was doing. Nice guy,professional. Also give Ben a mention coordinator in the office always obliging. Would recommend this company.

Couldn’t fault him.

Excellent. Told me all my fridge needs us defrosting annually. Why didn’t previous engineer tell me this? Dale very helpful.

Thankfully our machine was under manufacturing warranty so did not cost us anything.
