Faulty safety seal
Faulty safety seal, cheap packaging, and terrible customer support
I ordered a bottle of 1906 Boost drops, and the safety seal under the cap was completely detached and stuck inside the lid when I opened it, leaving a sticky, gummy residue around the rim. While there was outer plastic wrap, the inner seal had completely failed in transit. For an ingestible THC product, receiving compromised, unsealed packaging is unacceptable and a serious safety concern. The tin/metal bottle design clearly needs improvement if a basic adhesive seal cannot stay intact.
The customer service experience that followed made things much worse. I contacted 1906 the day I received the package. While they initially acknowledged my email saying they were working on it, they ghosted me for days. I had to follow up myself just to get an update, only to be passed off to a third-party package protection company to file a separate claim. Now I am being told to wait several more days just for that claim to be reviewed.
When a company sells ingestible, mind-altering substances, product integrity and customer safety should be top priorities. Customers shouldn't have to chase down support across multiple companies just to resolve damaged, unsafe items. I requested a full refund and will not be ordering from 1906 again.
