Exemplary service. I was locked out of my home on a rainy afternoon and with barely any charge on my phone. It would have been very easy for a locksmith to take advantage of this situation and charge me a fortune in call-out fees. Instead, 247 London Locksmith identified the problem via WhatsApp, and then sent me a 10-second video that enabled me - despite my technical ineptitude - to fix the lock in about a minute. They're kind, generous and they really know their stuff. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I called this locksmith after a google search for North London locksmith. The prices showed as 'from £60' and I figured I would pay roughly double that. The locksmith arrived on time and I told him my keys were on the floor (put through the mail slot). He looked at my locks. There were three of them and he quoted me nearly £600 to get me into my flat. When I said this was unaffordable he made me pay a £70 call-out fee to go away. In the end I got a friend to get me into my flat by retrieving the keys off the floor with a coat hanger and a strong magnet. I figure the locksmith could have done this for his £70 fee. I felt ripped off and scammed. When I called back later to check the call-out fee the woman on the phone was keen to book me an appointment and send someone to me immediately. She wasn't very keen on giving me info about prices and said there was no callout fee (I later got clarification that there is a callout fee if it's an 'emergency'. So I recommend being careful about what you will need to spend if you use this service. It can very quickly go from 'starting at £60' to £600 and then if you refuse, you will need to pay £70 for the pleasure of receiving the quote.

Lost the only key I had for my 1986 Suzuki. Struggled to find anyone who could make one without the key number or who would come to me to look at it.
Spoke to Lucas at 247 London Locksmiths and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Came out and within an hour had the key cut and ensured it worked in all locks, not just the ignition. Really nice guy, would definitely recommend.

Came as I had broken a key off in a bike lock. Could not have been more helpful. Took the key out and even tried to cut a new one. Highly recommend.

Lukas was incredibly patient, waiting for me to turn up despite how late I was and declining additional payment. Amazingly friendly and managed to free my bike from it's lock professionally and promptly. Can 100% recommend this service. Everything will go smoothly and be good value.

Make sure to speak to Luka, there is another business who appears to be reading with the same name so make sure you have the right one. Luka is an absolute star and can’t recommend enough. I lost my husbands ebike keys and thanks to his patience and skill managed to get a new key, great price and saved a fortune on the divorce lol

Definitely recommend - super professional, fairly priced, very efficient & kind - which doesn't hurt!

Initially the guy on the phone said it would be £50. I thought it was pretty good fair. I explained that I had left the key in the other side of the door.
The locksmith arrived within half an hour which was amazing. He drilled the lock out and said this was a high security lock so he would have to see see what lock he had which was sufficient.
He gave me three options the first was £125 just for a basic lock, £325, then £325.
He seemed surprised when I said the £125 one would be adequate, he reluctantly completed the task.
He then give me a bill including VAT of £501.60. This was for less than 45 minutes work.

£49 labour
£155 to actually open the door
£125 for a new lock
Inc VAT, £501.60
I argued with him and he said this was the price of the job and it had already been done.
Absolute extortionate, they ensure they only tell you the total cost after they have taken the lock off so you're bound to pay them whatever they decide to charge.
I'll be sharing this amongst all the traders sites, please if you have to use a locksmith, don't use these guys.

I contacted 247 London Locksmith to replace the barrel of a lock and to fresh fit a mortice lock. I believe the lady I was in contact with on the phone is called Maya and she was extremely polite, professional and helpful. Maya kindly assigned a locksmith to carry out the job within a few hours. Regrettably the locksmith experienced problems finding my address and was very aggressive and kept shouting at me when he called for directions. After the fourth call where he continued shouting, I told him I had tried to help direct him but that I wouldn’t be spoke to like that and cancelled the job. I had reconciled myself to the fact that I would have to find another company but called the office to explain what had happened. Maya could not have been more apologetic and rescued the situation entirely! She asked Tom to come and do the work and he arrived within the hour (at 6pm on a Friday night no less) and did a terrific job. He was considerate, detail oriented, professional and courteous. I’m very pleased with the work done and the amount I was quoted was the amount I was charged. I had rung a number of locksmiths for quotes and 247 London Locksmith came in the cheapest by far and was almost half the price of the other company that could respond as quickly! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tom, he was absolutely terrific and is the person I would call on in the future. The 5 star review is for Tom and Maya because they turned a potentially dreadful experience into a very positive one. Maya assured me the original locksmith would be spoken to as no one should have to deal with such an attitude. Thank you Maya and Tom, your help is very much appreciated.

The company claims in their response to this review that "We were very nice and polite, and we certainly weren’t disrespectful!" with regard to their first message to me (which they got upset I didn't read or respond to *overnight*), but if you check the imgur link of the message they sent me it becomes clear that in fact they were yelling at me right off the bat, using exclamation points and writing in all caps rather than a more civil response such as the example I provided in my initial amended review below. Furthermore, I've made it explicitly clear I never used the service, so I don't know why they feel it necessary to exclaim that I was never their customer — I never claimed to be once my initial error became clear.

Not only that, they have just admitted to false advertising as the website clearly states "24/7, ANY DAY ANY TIME!", yet apparently expecting at least a voicemail system is unreasonable. Dropped to one star for false advertising.

I'll leave it to everyone to judge for themselves the level of customer service this company appears to be capable of. I think their clearly hasty reply below speaks for itself.

I accidentally reviewed this company's page in error after a bad experience with a locksmith service with a similar name. However I feel the need to publish this review as 24/7 Locksmith London's poor customer service skills came to light in their handling of the situation.

The company responded to my Google review with a long, overly detailed and completely fabricated story. Moreover, they addressed me very rudely on Facebook (where I also left a bad review in error; the company I meant to review has a very similar name, logo and colour scheme). They addressed me as "HEY LADY" in their response to my post on their page when my name is right there.

It would be very easy to write something like "Hi Paulina, while we appreciate your frustration at this matter, we believe you may have been mistaken in your review. Please see [website] and check the phone number; we are not the same company. We kindly ask that you remove your review as it appears it was directed at a separate company. Kind regards, Mgmt". See how hard that was (not)? Addressing me as "HEY LADY" is NOT how to handle customer complaints, regardless of whether they are yours or not.

Furthermore, I called the number for this company many times last night in an attempt to get someone on the phone and my calls were not answered, no ability to leave a voicemail, even though this is supposedly a 24/7 service. Had they answered my calls and/or addressed me courteously on social media platforms, my mistake would have quickly become apparent, I would have taken my erroneous review down straight away, and I wouldn't be leaving this mediocre one now.

While I didn't receive an actual service from 24/7 London Locksmith, I'm giving three stars because this company has proved that their customer service is atrocious and I certainly wouldn't consider using their services in the future.
